Forest Millwork

We hired Forest Millwork to replace our cabinet in our kitchen and add a new island. This is one of the worst vendors with whom we have worked. During the sales process, they were great and creative, but once the contract was signed, their real face was reviled. They had staff attrition, the person we worked with during the pre-sales left, and they didn't bother to tell us. At that point, we should have terminated the agreement. - They completed a one month project in 4 months - The quality of the work was terrible. They didn't measure many things accurately; some cabinets were damaged when they were delivered, and some cabinets cracked before the project was even completed. - They promised to manage the project, and they did none of that - They ruined our hardwood floor and refused to fix it. - Leslie who ended up leading the project was rude to other vendors and us and not attentive to details at all (she didn't even come to see the completed product) When we started working with their team, we found out that every vendor they contracted with to complete the work had complaints about them. We chose to work with them because of the great review on Google and the pre-sales. Don't believe these positive reviews and stay away from this company.

My ninety-eight year old house had developed issues with some of the flooring boards on the large, covered front porch. Time, and where rain had blown in, had taken its toll. When we measured the width of the boards it was slightly wider than the standard 2 1/4. After some research I found Forest Millwork. I took my "solution" to them as far as milling and, thankfully, Hank showed me a better avenue, both in the final product and cost. He provided me with product far superior to what my solution would have provided. I am extremely pleased with the whole experience, front to back. The customer service couldn't be any better, Hank was very accommodating and made sure I was informed, and in the end, happy. These are good people. Highly recommended.

Joel Lynn at Forest Kitchen Design Greenville S.C.was so very helpful from the first time we met till the installation was completed. We called him, he came out, and he listened, gave suggestions and recommended De Wils Kitchen Cabinetry of the brands he carries. We wanted natural wood with a finish that would last and resist fading. Joel has years of experience that shows in his knowledge and design. We appreciate how patient he was as we worked through all the details. His showroom is well appointed with lots of designs and layouts. It took us 2 years of searching for a kitchen designer / cabinet company. 4 so called designer / builders we tried before Joel left us very disappointed. They wanted to build the cabinets or part of them for us but could only promise the finish would last 8 Years at best. And none offered Easter Hard rock Maple wood.

We were in the process of a kitchen remodel and needed new cabinets. We like the design of the old cabinets that were made by the Bishop Company so we found Forest Millwork as the Bishop dealer for the Asheville area. Joel Linn was the person we dealt with and he was great. He came out to the house and took measurements and discussed what we were looking for. About a week later he had a series of proposals with different design drawings and price ranges. The service was top notch and he never tried to sell us any features or options that we didn't want. He also came up with design ideas that we didn't think of that really improved the overall functionality and appearance of the kitchen without adding cost. What surprised us the most is that before we contacted Joel we had looked at cabinets at Lowe's and Home Depot. Forest Millwork was very competitive on price with these big box stores AND we got the personal service and design expertise of the staff. To me this is a win-win situation.
