Description of Work: Entire house was pressure washed and all areas of rotten wood was replaced. A cat door was removed from a garage door and a new panel was installed. The entire house was stained with 2 coats stain and all trim including windows,doors, deck and rails were painted with 2 coats of Sherwim-Williams products.

Description of Work: I have received an estimate for a complete exterior paint job on my house. I have a complete estimate and it is broken down into parts, for example, I could have the trouble spots done but not the whole house. Every scenerio is broken down by work and price. I have been unable to tackle that project./ An interior bathroom was hideous and plaster was falling like rain. That job has been done. The Plaster was repaired and all was painted. There was no clean up to be done except replacing towels and the hair dryer. I knew exactly what to expect and when. He and a workman showed up on time, on the right day and finished as expected.

Brush and roll one coat of Sherwin-Williams Resilence white latex paint to all of the following areas: Soffit, facia, 15 window jams/sills, one screen door, and all doorjams/casings. Brush and roll one coat of Sherwin- Williams Resilence satin latex paint to the one front door. Apply drywall tape and drywall mud to all cracks and/or problem areas. The ceiling will be white, the trim white, and the walls yellow. Description of Work: Our contract required the following: Pressure wash a small area of brick facade, chimney, garage doors and small porch area. Scrape all paint as needed. Prime all bare wood. Brush two coats of self-priming masonry paint to all brick and chimney cap. Brush two coats latex paint (requiring primer) to garage doors and porch ceiling, beams and (metal) brackets. Apply drip edge to gable end of roof. The old paint was in very poor condition and much bare wood and brick was exposed after the prep. The primer which Mr. Schreiner later showed me and stated was used on most of the wood requires 4 hours drying time before top coating. The masonry paint requires 24 hours between coats. The latex wood paint needs 2 hours between coats. According to Sherwin Williams' technical department, primer must be applied to all bare surfaces and allowed to dry at least the required time. It is the "glue" that holds paint on the building. If primer (or the first coat of self-priming paint) is recoated too soon, it may inhibit the chemical reaction which causes the primer to bond to the wood, brick, metal, etc. Coats of paint which follow may prematurely bubble, peel, crack, etc.
