Rich is an outstanding worker---skilled, knowledgeable, conscientious and thorough. He's uber-honest and will knock off part of his time if he thinks it's justified. He has a very nice way about him: quite, efficient and pleasant. I highly recommend his work.

From beginning to end, everything went well. He came when he said he would, worked consistently (no slack time), was easy to deal with, knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Price was very reasonable.

I would have been completely lost without the help of Rich at Consider It Done. My tenants moved out after 10 years, leaving damage and neglect. Rich helped me identify and prioritize repairs and got right to work when my head was swimming with all of the tasks that needed completing. The best thing is that Rich can do almost anything. Every task I threw it him (and there were a lot) was completed. For other large tasks I needed done, Rich had excellent recommendations for good people, companies and products to use. Rich is extremely reliable and hard working, trustworthy and knowledgeable. He will take excellent care of you and your home. He shows up on time and keeps a clean work area. Rich is the best person I have ever hired for home services and I highly recommend Consider It Done.

Rich returned our initial call promptly.. While our job was relatively small, it was somewhat complicated by the fact that we would be re-tiling a round hole in the floor with square tiles and also replacing some of the sub-flooring for the tile. When he arrived to give us an estimate for doing the job, he first took some time to remove some of the pieces in the floor to be sure of what was below (no surprises), and to then give us some options for how we wished to proceed. We had tile left over from when the floor was originally tiled, so that was a plus. While the hole itself could have been filled with 4-5 tile pieces, three sides would have required rounded cutting if just the hole itself was re-tiled. Rich explained that if we had enough tile (we did), removing 9 tiles would leave a squared opening, take less time to repair (no rounded corners to cut), and leave us with no sign of where the water heater had been cut into the floor. He also gave us the option to buy a couple items ourself from a local tile shop (grout, sub-tile piece) to reduce cost for us, time for him, and we opted to do that. On day of install/repair, Rich arrived promptly at agreed upon time. He got to work quickly, smoothly and methodically, and work was done in about 1/2 day. He was meticulous about his clean-up, nothing was left awry, and the end results for the tile floor looked fabulous. You would never know we had an unsightly round hole cut in the floor where our old water heater stood. He returned two days later to complete the grouting of the tile We had used Rich previously so knew of his quality, but continue to appreciate the time he takes to explain the how and why a certain option is pursued, and if there are options to be had he always lays those out too. Very professional is his work detail, knowledge, and interacting with you the customer. We would not hesitate to use him again, or recommend him to anyone needing home repair---he is very versatile in a wide array of home repair specialties.

Everything completed efficiently and correctly as we were prepping home for sale. Would use for future projects but moved to another state.

Rich is thorough, and creative about how to fix things. A real "handyman." Makes good suggestions, comes when he says he will, shows details of what he's charging. Gets the job done right, and fast.

Rich was very professional and punctual. He did a great job installing some foot bolt locks on some of my doors. This was done sometime in late fall of last year, and the price was very reasonable. I can't remember the exact cost anymore.

What a treasure! FInally, we found a quality craftsman to depend on. He is professional, punctual, efficient, thoughtful,quiet, clean, reliable, reasonable.....what more could you ask. We look forward to working with him again on future projects.

Rich, the owner of Consider It Done, was great! He was clean, efficient, prepared, professional, pleasant, cheerful, competent, and energetic. Everything was cleaned up when he was finished, and he gave me a detailed (and easy to read) receipt. I trusted him right away and have hired him to do future work on my house. I also liked that he whistled merrily as he worked - it is nice to have a cheerful, capable person tending to your home. :)

It went pretty well! He was right on time and very professional. I had him fix a leaky bathroom sink faucet, leaky shower head, replace some toilet parts, fix the doorbell, and repair a large hole in the wall. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. We've had no issues with the work since then and we'd use them again!

Rich was punctual and friendly. He installed blinds on 6 windows and a shelf over my kitchen sink. He was adaptable and cleaned up after himself completely. He did excellent work and I even asked him to give me an estimate on another job I'd like to have done.

We’re very pleased with him. We might as well have him back. It took him a little while to come out and the weather has something to do with that so that wasn’t a problem for us. My husband has no complaints.

I thought he was great, I would give him an excellent. I needed the rail fairly quick. I thought the price was good. We had communication problems for a few days, and he wouldn't answer my calls, but he was on time the day he was scheduled to come out. I have his card, and so I would use him again.

Richard was so professional and nice. He responded immediately to an emergency, even though he did not know us. Our roof began leaking during some heavy rains and soaked all the way through our ceiling in a room that has acoustic tiles on the ceiling. Several of the tiles fell and left a hole in the ceiling. Richard re-organized several appointments and fit us in on New Year's Eve. It was freezing cold. He spent a good deal of time examining the roof and the ceiling. He even contacted a professional roofer by phone while he was here to help diagnose why the leak had occurred. Inside, he spent a lot of time carefully trimming the replacement tiles so they would fit together nicely. And they do. So we are very appreciative and will absolutely call him for the major remodel projects we are planning. It's clear he's a real pro.

Rich was on time and professional and knowledgable. He didn't blink an eye at the difficult crawl space under the house where the dryer vent needed to be replaced. Very quick work. Highly recommend.

I own several properties and turn to Rich Walton (Consider It Done) for ALL handyman services that my husband and I can't handle.. The name of the business is perfect. I call Rich - and then I truly Consider It Done! He will be on time, he will be professional, he will work the entire time he is on site (no "smoke breaks" or dilly-dallying), and he will provide top quality work. He is clean cut, polite, trustworthy beyond reproach, and meticulous with cleanup. His attention to detail is unmatched in any trade! No more bargain basement $15/hr. Abbott and Costello handymen for me! Rich is not the cheapest, he's the best! I hand him the keys, and walk away comfortably... and consider it done!

Great service and quality at a fair price! I would recommend Rich without hesitation.

He came promptly and sealed an area with leaky flashing; installed about 100 sf of insulation in the attic crawl space, taking out some of it that was wet, then patched a hole in the dry-wall ceiling, sanded, and painted.

Had cancellation and worked me in two days earlier than anticipated. Arrived, went over project , agreed on what was to be purchased and measured doors . Purchased and delivered doors and all material; installed 4 doors; each of which required custom alterations to fit. Always professional and completed work quickly and competently. Will be hiring him soon for work on another rental....with major cabinet work and pouring concrete! Greatly recommend!
