I've had CPC out several times for several jobs over the last 2 years. Ken (the owner) and Curtis (one of his employees) are nice guys and do great work that is reasonably priced. They are both professional, patient and courteous.

After I cut short an out-of-town trip to meet with him. He never bothered to show. He has still never called.

Ken and his assistant always do a great job, and are so pleasant to work with. Our faucet leaked for the second time in a few months, and Ken advised replacing it with a more reliable brand. His assistant installed the new faucet and unstuck our frozen garbage disposal. Unfortunately, when the first sink full of water was drained through the disposal, it blew out the deteriorated baskets and flooded the cabinet under the sink. Ken then came over immediately to remove the unit (our choice, as we didn't want to replace) and replumb the drains under the sink.

I've used this company at 2 houses, and they have done a wonderful job. Both Ken and Curtis are great to work with. I'll definitely use them again when he need arises.

Ken provided an estimate for a small bathroom renovation project. He was professional and took extra time to explain the reasoning behind the estimate. He was kind, professional, and punctual.

He was willing to answer questions on the phone, and give instructions as to what to do if we wanted to try.to fix it on our own. When we couldn't, he came out and took care of it all and gave us more tips. Great job.

Ken arrived as planned, replaced defective kitchen faucet , discovered and replaced leaking drain pipe under sink. The Angies list coupon was applied and I had the faucet replacement, so he only charged me for labor. The $75 fee reflects the $25 discount for Angies coupon. I spoke with Ken, the owner on the phone. He set up a service call with short notice. Curtis was the service provider. He was extremely courteous and professional. I was able to text a picture of the part so that Curtis could come with the correct part in hand and minimize the cost. He was in and out within the hour and I received a $25 Angie's List member credit per a current coupon.

Curtis and Will showed up promptly and finished the work in no time. They were very peasant and professional. We now have someone who we can call and know that we will receive the best of care.

This happened after two consecutive days of below zero temperature. He came same night and stayed until everything was secure. He took pictures of pipe and broken pieces of washer with him. He came back when he had the replacement pieces and repaired both the pipe and the washer! this saved me tons of money and impressed my insurance adjuster immensely. He even interacted directly with adjuster explaining what had happened! Needless to say his bill was reimbursed immediately. Finally he even loaned me a more powerful heater to use for those pipes until I could purchase one like it. This was a stressful experience and working with Ken was a relief all the way through because I knew the repairs would be done correctly and his charges would be very fair.

Ken Holbert of Carolina Plumbing came to our rescue on very short notice, and on a Saturday! He was extremely professional and cleared a major clog deep in the drain from our kitchen sink. He also recommended a reasonably priced product for maintenance that we will be using in the future. The price was reasonable as plumbers go. We are grateful to him and will definitely use him again in the future.

I bought a 40-yr old home recently and was referred to Ken. The work he and his men have done has been one of the bright spots of a remodel. They show up when asked and when they say they will or they call to say they will be a little earlier or later. When Ken installed the piping for the water line in the basement crawl space, he found holes in a brand new HVAC system install, specifcally in one supply duct and one return duct. If it were not for his keen eye and caring, I would still be having trouble w/ the HVAC that no one else found during the prior year. Because of him, I stopped air conditioning and heating my crawl space. The hose bibs they installed are high quality and positioned where I wanted them. He asks exactly how the homeowner wants the install instead of assuming as so many other contractors seem to do to save time. The water tank he removed took all day to cut apart to get out of the crawl space opening. The lower third of the tank was made of concrete. He left and returned with the tools he had to use to cut it. The effort was extraordinary and took 4 men to lift out and twice as long as anticipated but he stuck to his estimate. Now everyone has better entry into a 40 yr old crawl space. The water line to the new double farm sink was perfect. They drilled holes for the plumbing and had to spend extra time on the strainers bc of odd size of drains but Ken and his crew spent the extra time to file them down perfectly. Ken vacuumed up all their dust and shavings and sometimes the whole floor in the room. Very impressive and above and beyond. Can't recommend them more highly. He is definitely "my plumber." While he was there, he looked at a new bath sink drain plug that would not close and got under the sink and fixed it. No charge. He has an amazing desire to serve his customers. ss

He was friendly, professional, and responsive. Got the job done in a quick and efficient manner which I appreciated. Would certainly recommend him and use him again in the future if needed.

The pump broke last Saturday and caused a big mess. I called the plumbers who originally installed it and they first told me they no longer served my area. I reminded them they installed the pump so he reluctantly agreed to come out. He pulled the old pump out and told me it was beyond repair and no one in town carried them. He looked confused, didnt know what model or where to order it told me the replacement cost for the pump alone would be $1800 or so plus labor. He said nothing could be done till Monday. While he mopped up i took pictures of the old pump went online found the pump was able to order it to be shipped overnight to me on Monday. When i told him this he seemed angry and said he wouldnt take any responsibility if wrong pump came. He charged me $300 for 2 hours work and left. I felt he was taking advantage of me in every way he could. So thats when i called Carolina Plumbing, had used them before for other matters. Kenny told me to call him when the pump arrived and they could install it. (By the way the cost of the pump to me including overnight shipping was $650) Curtis came out promptly on Wednesday and had it in in no time, tested all the sinks, toilet, shower and cleaned up the mess the other guy left. He absolutely knew exactly what to do and did it quickly. I was once again so impressed with Ken, Curtis and his crew. Im NEVER calling any other plumber again. Good riddance to the first plumber.... They were not honest.

When I called to schedule a time to come out, he initially said that he could do it that day, and that would work better for him. I agreed to have him come out that afternoon, and he said that he would call and let me know when he was on his way out. At 4:00 that afternoon, he called again and stated that he was not going to be able to come out. He could if I really wanted him to, but he had to go to Hendersonville that evening and he could go ahead and head over there now and then come out in the morning. I agreed to have him come in the morning and we agreed that he would be there between 8:00 and 8:30. At 8:20 he called to let me know that it was going to be 8:40 when he got there. I appreciated the call to know he was on his way after the last minute rescheduling the day before. He was quick as the repair only took 30 minutes. The price was a little hefty, at $156, however, he went over how to repair the problem, if necessary and so motivated, on our own if it were to happen again. He was courteous and respectful.
