Ann Skoglund, the agent, and the company are outstanding. She spent weeks finding just the right house, was very patient, walked us easily through all the legal and financial hoops.

As first time home buyers we used a Beverly Hanks agent to help guide us through our first home purchase. We used a reputable local agent that has been with BH for a long time. After viewing multiple homes, our agent inisted that we look at one of his listings and we ended up making an offer and purchasing the home for the asking price. One week after moving into the home we noticed that the septic system was leaking into the yard. We were unaware that the septic was not covered under the regular home inspection. We immediately informed our agent (who represented both the seller and buyer of this deal) of this problem and were told by BH that it was not their problem. Replacing the septic was a expensive ($7000) mistake we will never make again. It seems that Beverly Hanks cared more about their 16K commission than having us a lifetime customers.

We used a Beverly Hanks agent in the purchase of our home (thus the $0 spending; sellers paid the commission). We actually found the house on Trulia's website and then pretty much picked her at random to take us for a showing - we felt good about the Beverly Hanks "brand" as it is well known in our area. We were satisfied with her help with our offer to purchase and the seller's counter-offer. We used her recommended inspection company, which was great, and when we found that there was some work that needed to be done, we followed her suggestions for getting it done and having the sellers deal with payment, etc. That all went pretty smoothly, even when one issue could not be resolved until after we moved in (we had a contract that the sellers would still pay to finish out the repair, which they did). At settlement, we used our agent's recommended law office and were impressed. Our agent fell ill on settlement day so another agent did our final walk-through and went with us to settlement, which worked out fine. Overall a positive experience.

They were fabulous to work with. I can't say enough how they worked with us for well over a year in negotiating the sell of the home we purchased. They definitely went out of there way for us. I would use them again in the future to both buy and sell a home if needed.
