Description of Work: I wasn't informed that the Internet service I was offered was via phone line instead of cable until the installer came. I then had to add a phone line, not ideal for my entertainment equipment. The line sat above ground for over a month until the crew was finally able to bury it. They left lines sticking out the back of my house unconnected. Not exactly the best, most professional experience I have had. Will probably switch back to Charter after the promotional period ends.

+ -1 moreThey have refused to run DSL to my house from the line which is in my yard. I call them every weekend about it, but they keep saying that it is not available in my area (high speed DSL), even though I am looking at the little white and red poles sticking in my yard. However, they will give it to the gated community two miles up the road from me; it has seven houses in it.
Description of Work: I use AT&T Digital Life Asheville land-line phone service.

Description of Work: Installation of cable, Internet and phone service. The only disappointing thing was that the service was promised on the 18th and they didn't contact me at the proper phone number to tell me that service was not going to be available until they could get engineers out. This delayed my installation by a week. But when everything was completed, it was a very positive experience. The installation service was explained step by step by the installation tech. He explained and showed me how to use the various services and let me try them out while he was heretofore insure that I would be able to use them properly.
