Great - he called back within a few minutes of my initial call, was here within the hour, gave me a very reasonable quote and my garage door was fixed and working in less than an hour as well as another suggestion on how to get the longest life out of the door. Really personable gentleman, very professional and will use him again. I recommend this company without reservation.

Brilliantly! Gus helped us pick out doors and a color that would compliment our brick home. Gus took the time to educate us as to what all the different products were and helped us decide what would be appropriate for our home. The visual change is astonishing. And the doors are so quiet opening & shutting. We are 100% satisfied with all aspects of it from the installation, service & product itself.

Great! I got ASAP's information from Angie's List. I called last evening around 6:15, expecting to leave a message, but Gus answered and we made an appointment for this morning. He was actually a little earlier than he had said, which was great. He looked at the problem, told me what he would do and then they did it. I was expecting to be told I had to have a new door but he knew just how to fix it. He explained what needed to be done in a way that I could easily understand. They completed the job in about an hour and a half. All of the mechanism is new and the door works better than it has worked in the last 20 years! The price was very reasonable and the work was excellent. I was really impressed with his range of knowledge about garage doors! They were very professional and the next time we have trouble with one of our garage doors, ASAP is the company we will call.

I called at 9:30 AM on Saturday.They answered and was told that they would arrive between 11 and 2:00 on Saturday. They arrived at 11:15, looked at the problem and indicated what was needed and the cost for the service. The cost was what I expected. They removed the old springs and replaced them and adjusted the hardware and the open and close switches so that the door works perfectly. They also advised on problems that may occur in the future. The door is old- at least 30 years and the springs, motor drive is of the same vintage. They knew this old equipment and placed back in service properly. It is a pleasure to have such service people who reply, show up as scheduled and perform the work honestly. I would recommend their service without any hesitation. Keep up the excellent work.

The technician arrive on time and went straight to work. He discovered there was a problem with our electrical outlet (not his fault) and gave us a solution until we can get our electrician out again. The work was completed, and the young man cleaned up after himself and even took away the old, and we do mean OLD, machinery for us. He was quiet, polite and we would use their service again if needed.

Arrived on a Sunday morning one hour after calling. He Explained what broke and gave me options on replacing one or both springs. I opted for both being they are of the same age. Job took about an hour. My door was big for a residential house so my springs were the larger size. He adjusted the door travel and lubricated the wheels. He informed me of a one year warranty. Pleasant guy.

They were very punctual polite and very efficient and did an excellent job installing the garage door , and we were given all the necessary instructions on how to operate the door, they were very tidy and took the old door away and left no mess behind. I would definitely recommend them to any one.

Gus Gonzalez responded to my emergency phone call Saturday Dec 12. ( I had accidentally backed into a partially opened garage door. For some reason the garage door had stopped about 3" before it was completely up? The luggage rack on the top of the car hit the bottom panel and tore the garage lowest panel to pieces! I was panicked because I live 3,000 feet up a mountain where there is lots of bear activity! Although most bears are already hibernating I had recently seen a large male black bear. I needed the door replaced ASAP.) Gus Gonzalez came to the house within 2 hours and explained what I needed. Since I wanted both garage doors to match I asked him to replace both garage doors. He ordered what I needed as soon as possible Monday morning. The order was delivered to him Thursday and he set up an appointment to install the 2 doors Friday morning. He and his helper Caesar arrived on time, were very professional, and did an excellent job installing the two new garage doors. The completed the job an hour earlier than projected. Gus arrived on time....he and his assistant assessed my situation, gave me a quotation of the work to be performed. I accepted his quote and they began the work.........completed within one hour. Gus is an excellent mechanic and thoroughly enjoys his work....meeting new customers. They have ALL necessary tools and equipment on their van. Mr. Gonzales and his assistant, Cesar, came the day after I called and were promptly on time. Gus explained exactly what my problem was with the existing older system and explained how the new system would work. Since the old garage door opener wouldn't work at all, anything would be an improvement. The two gentlemen worked tirelessly for less than two hours and when they got done we had a new garage door opener, a shored up garage door and two remotes as well as an outside key pad. Gus and Cesar were the ultimate professionals, courteous and efficient. I'm so glad we called them. We had a more widely known company out a few days ago and the rep tried to sell us a lot of stuff we didn't need. I totally trust Mr. Gonzales and his assistant and would not recommend anyone else for garage door opener installation and service.

I recently had the tension spring on my garage door break. The door is 30+ years old. Gus arrived when he said and quickly identified the problem. His repair was quick, cost effective and professional. Nice guy. He helped me get the remote back in order as well. (I mucked it up trying to figure out what was wrong with the door before he arrived.) Great service! I wish maintaining my home was always this easy. Will definitely use him again to replace the garage door next Spring when we repaint the house.

It went very well. My husband and I were impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. He arrived on time and was very pleasant and courteous.

Gus also took some additional time w/ me to explain various things that can affect the efficient operation of the door. Moreover, and aside from the door, I asked Gus about his homeland, Uruguay via Spain, and he very cordially spoke to me about this. I called Gus on 8/11/2015 to repair the broken spring on my garage door. I asked him for a ballpark figure for what it would cost to replace the spring and he told me $75 for the service charge and labor and $100 to $150 for the spring depending on which spring I needed. I was surprised because when I had the other spring replaced 3 years ago the company that did it charged me $475. I'm always a bit leery when I hear a price on something that is way lower than what I expect it to cost so I researched the price on garage door springs and realized I really got ripped off the last time I needed this done. He told me he could be there the next morning at 8:30. He showed up nearly 8:30 on the dot. Gus was very professional with a neat and clean truck. He looked at the door and told me he could take care of the spring but that he would also recommend that I replace the old rollers on the door. He said that the rollers were old steel rollers and he suggested new teflon/nylon rollers. My door is 10 years old so I thought it's probably a good idea. I felt that Gus knew what he was talking about and I did not feel like he was trying to upsell me. Good call on the rollers. This door has never operated this smooth. Gus told me it would take about an hour and he was done in 55 minutes. Overall I am extremely pleased with the service, price and quality of work. ASAP is a family run business and it is great to do business with someone who cares about the quality of their work and offers a more than fair price. I HIGHLY recommend Gus and ASAP Garage Doors

Technician tested and replaced the defective/broken eye. He inspected the rollers and lubricated them along with the spring. He also insured the door was balanced. At all times he kept me completely informed what he was doing.

Gus quickly returned my call and came over within an hour. He is personable and took the time to explain everything I needed. The job was done quickly and efficiently. I am very satisfied with the work and would definitely call him again.

The work was done well, but the cost seemed excessive for the time spent and the materials provided. I should have gotten other quotes.

ASAP came over the same day I called for a quote. The owner was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice about which products to choose. He then made a special effort to get the door I selected on the next delivery truck so that they could do the work that weekend. The new door is awesome and it was more affordable than we had anticipated due to a higher quote from someone else in the area. I HIGHLY recommend this company and will definitely contact them first if needed in the future.

Garage door opener non-operable due to age (installed 1994). Gus (the owner of ASAP) gave me option of installing his top of the line opener or buying a less expensive one myself that he would install right then and there. I dId purchase a Lowe's opener motor which he promptly installed, and charged me only for the installaton, not the service call also. Came the same day I called for service, did work within 2 hrs., and took away old motor and rails. Gave me full instructions on operation and was very pleasant to talk to.
