Very responsive, very professional, excellent work!!

We changed out our back porch stairs from wood to concrete. The crew was a little sloppy at first during demolition, but the owners, David and Ana, stepped in and supervised from then on bringing top notch workmanship to the project. They're both very nice and very professional. Everything was cleaned up beautifully. I couldn't have been happier with the end result.

Ana and David did a great job on our driveway removal, restructure and replace. Our whole front yard looks much better and the driveway is now flat and straight. They and their workers put a lot of effort into providing what we asked for. We will be pleased to recommend them to everyone we know.

The measure of a contractors worth, is not always immediately evident. When I hired David and Ana--a husband and wife team--I hired them because I could literally feel their integrity, a heart of service, and desire to please. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were completely cooperative, and kind. David even did a "test pour" of concrete stamping and coloring, to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We were replacing a wooden deck that was 40 years old, with a stamped and colored concrete patio. In life, things don't always go as planned. David was impeccable with his approach, but unfortunately the concrete provider was not. He ordered the dark grey "Tierra" color and pigment to give some variation, but the concrete provided sent "Terra Cotta", the wrong code and color entirely. By the time I arrived back home, the deed was done. Instead of a dark grey patio, I had an orange-pink patio. David immediately realized the mistake the concrete provider had made, and promised to make it right. His records showed he had done everything correctly, and it was not his fault. He and Ana ultimately spent 4 times the original cost of the project to saw, grind, and removed the majority of the concrete, and provide us with a flagstone patio that turned out beautifully. We could not be more thrilled and happy with their responsible, professional, kind, and accountable response. The job is impeccable, and we highly recommend these fine people for their honesty, and professionalism under duress that was not their fault. They are a company that I highly recommend. Their employees are wonderful, helpful, and great at what they do. As a landscape contractor for over 42 years, now retired--I have never worked with a finer contractor.

Appalachian Excavation & Concrete installed a nice concrete foundation for an upcoming garage build. Communication was great, and they were eager to come and do the project. It only took 2 days of work and it was completed. The work is done well and exactly what we had asked for. We highly recommend this company and will call them with any future concrete needs.

Davids crew was experienced and worked hard to do a great job and finish on time. They did everything right on my concrete driveway and really went the extra mile by reinforcing with steel areas where the ground might be softer or get heavy traffic. I highly recommend it.

David and their crew completed a driveway and extended an existing sidewalk and installed another sidewalk, the work was not easy, but they completed it in two days, Great job! Will contact them again when ready to do the bigger job.

Ana, David and their crew put in the slab for a 26 ft garage I am building on my property. The site also required extensive excavation to get level as it was on a slope. Everything passed inspection, came out great, and was completed on schedule. Communication was excellent, and they were very friendly and easy to work with. I would certainly hire them again for another project.
