Description of Work: They totally reworked my front yard, deep pruning of strategic shrubs, removing some overgrown and inappropriate shrubs in one area by the foundation, added new plants, and as the finishing touch, did a beautiful job of placing river stones of various sizes in a very moist area at the bottom of a planted bank. They hand placed the stones in varying sizes to give the impression of a stream bed, very attractively done, washed off the rock dust.I was getting ready to sell my house, and the work they did was key I think in my making a quick sale at a very favorable price. They really dressed up the yard in a way that made a much better first impression. Rick worked right with his men, tweaking the plan as he went in response to conditions - always cleared with me first and always clear about any added cost. A great job, money very well spent!

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate to remove tree limbs that are hanging onto the roof of our house and to trim back flowering bushes that have grown too big. His price was reasonable. He seemed to really care about what was best for the trees and plants, as well as for my house. He taught me a lot. As soon as I have the funds I will call him to do this work.

Rick has been working with me for 6 months. He is a very patient. After a couple visits to my home and answering many of our concerns plus giving us great suggestions we chose to go with another company. (Only because of time restraints) Big mistake. Rick was at all times very profesional and polite even when I told him we were going with another company. We are now under contract with Rick to repair the mess we were left with. He is also going to add a water feature. I will follow up with a complete review after all is completed.

Rick as completed every job we have given him on time and budget. We do not hesitate to use Rick for any landscaping related project. He is reliable, and on time (really makes planning a day easy!) we cannot recommend him more highly.
Description of Work: We have used Rick at Advanced landscaping for about two years. He has completed a variety of jobs including land clearing, tree service, grading and general landscaping projects. Rick was desgined and installed ground cover on an extensive embankment, added drainage ("French") , laid grass sod where needed. He also planted trees and a variety of shrubs. Rick cuts our grass lawns on a schedule, and takes care of fertilization of the entire landscape.
