1st Choice Service Group

1st Choice Service Group had to install a special part, some kind of a heater around the housing of the unit, because it kept freezing up under certain weather conditions and finally the fan stopped working altogether. From how I understood it, it was a glitch in the engineering of the unit that caused it to freeze under those certain weather conditions. It worked fine for several months after he installed the heater, but then it stopped working again. We called 1st Choice Service Group again and he diagnosed that because of the original problem of it freezing up, the whole fan assembly had broken. He got the part and fixed it and Lennox paid for the part and the labor, because it was faulty from the beginning. Also, after I explained to 1st Choice that also the auxiliary heat mode did not seem to work properly either, he found a wire was misconnected in the air handler, (inside unit) and he fixed that and, although we did not have to use the heat much after that because weather got warmer, it seems to be working the way it should have from the beginning. Time will tell.
