James answered any questions that my wife and I had. They did an Awesome job installing the fence around our pool and it is Beautiful!! They Cleaned up and did not leave a mess . These guys are Awesome!! I would recommend Beaver Fencing to anyone.

Description of Work: We did not hire Beaver Fencing to do a job for us but our neighbor did. He hired them to install a fence on our adjoining property line. After Mr. Locklear had installed the fence and left, we noticed that he had left a mess on our side of the fence. He had left dirt and rocks piled up on our grass as well as leaving mortar slung all our our stacked rock. The stacked rock was also "unstacked" and just thrown up against the new fence. My husband tried to contact him about cleaning it up but Mr. Locklear wouldn't return the call. The next day we finally got in touch with him and he said he would come clean it up. He never showed up up. I went to his website and sent him a message concerning the mess. His reply was: Bill (the man who hired him) said he take care of it I did a great job. This is NOT what Bill told us! He then sent another reply saying: U retired and got nothing better to do omg seriously a few drops of concrete on a stone come on get a life. I replied to him and told him he was dealing with us not Bill. I gave him a deadline to come do the cleanup or I would file a complaint against him with the BBB. He replied that he would come do it but he wanted my husband there to meet him and wanted to set a time. I replied to ask him what time he was coming so we could be there. We never heard from him. I don't expect to have damage done to my property from someone hired to do work for a neighbor. I also don't expect rude emails from a business owner. Everyone needs to be aware of this man and his work or lack of it!

+ 1 moreVery well. James communicates and is punctual. He listened to what we wanted and made good suggestions and final cost was much cheaper than Lowe's and very fair. My pictures don't do his work and the job justice...

Fencing was a higher quality and lower price that we could get at the big stores. They installed our fencing in less than a day. Left our yard perfectly clean; did not damage any of the shrubs; sighted the fence before leaving to make sure it was perfectly straight! He also installed a ten foot double gate (which he custom built!) into our existing chain link fence and did a great job on that, too!! Very straight; good quality materials. We HIGHLY recommend Beaver Fencing!!

I have a very large dog, and they worked with me to install the fence in stages so I could move my dog into the new area while they worked on the other areas. They were very concerned for me and my animal. I will be using them again in the future to put up a wooden fence for my pasture.

Extremely professional and very determined people. They are just amazing. I haven't had a contractor like that in a long time. He did exactly what he said he would, when he said he would, and exactly for the cost he said it would be.

+ -1 moreFrom my first conversation with James on the phone, to the end of the completed job, everything was extremely professional. Everything was handled and completed in a timely fashion. If I was given a date that certain items would happen, they happened within that time frame. All aspects of the job was very professional. Given the opportunity, I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a fence installed.
Description of Work: On the first day, they showed up on time. They installed the fence posts that day. There was a tree on the property line that they had to maneuver around because it was a very large tree that could not be taken down. Because of the way the back of the house was built we had a stair case effect that they had to go around. (The air conditioner, the deck, the car port and the shed.) There was one post that was not lined up the way I wanted it and they moved the post without complaint. We added an extra gate at the back of the yard so we would have access to the back of our property, since we did not fence in the entire property. The posts had to set for at least 24 hours before they could attach the fence. On the next day of the job after the posts set, again they showed up on time and worked very professionally. Because we added the extra gate, they had to get the fence gate the next day. Again they showed up when they said they would. What I learned that day was that they had the gate frame made and they added the fence mesh when they got to the house. They actually built the gate, which really impressed me. The quality of their work was above remarkable. Highly, Highly recommend them to anyone needing a fence.

+ -1 moreBeaver Fencing was recommended to me after a friend gave me three sections of a wood privacy fence. Each section of the fence, I am guessing, is approximately 6 feet wide and 8 feet tall. Very heavy. After contacting James at Beaver Fencing, he and his assistant had the three sections of fence set-up and installed in less than 2 hours. It looks great and he even repaired a couple of the fence boards which had been damaged during shipping. Reasonable price and really nice looking job.

+ -1 moreFrom the first time I talked to James, I had a good feeling about him. He got here exactly on time for the estimate. He was very professional. He had his measuring wheel, tape measure, clipboard, calculator, etc. He called the next day with the estimate. I double checked his price with a company I've used before. James' quote was over $2000 LESS-- even with travel. He's in Randolph County, I'm in Northern Guilford County. He started the job on time and finished on time. His father and brother were two of his helpers. All were professional, clean and knowledgeable. There was no trash left at the end. There are no sharp edges and no surprises. James Locklear and Beaver Fencing is the BEST.
