Robert kept us well informed throughout the project. We always knew the status and when he would be working on the project. He was very diligent in his effort to please us with the quality of the work. He handled unforeseen problems efficiently and properly. In the end we got a quality product meeting our expectations and needs.

Initial communication was ok. Turns out I was communicating with his wife, who misunderstood caused additional costs due to misunderstanding. I was pushed off from original date due to an injury on previous job. On the new day, he was hours late due to a flat tire. His crew was one new guy (who showed up with his dog) another who looked underage. They left the first day with mudding unfinished. Showed up the next day (Christmas Eve) with just him the underage guy. They were here for many hours, so my husband missed holiday festivities. We could clearly hear him training the helper. In the end, when my husband saw the finished room, he basically paid him to get them out of our house. We have spent the last week repairing the ugliness ourselves. The pictures show the terrible job he did. It is quite disappointing to have paid money to get results worse than we could have done ourselves with no knowledge or training at all. Do not hire for drywall.

When they were leaving they told me if I needed anything else they would be back and gave me a business card. Very cordial, patient and understanding .

Yes the replacement was good

Our kitchen ceiling may be cursed. A year and a half after a burst pipe led to a weeks-long ordeal, we noticed evidence of another, thankfully much smaller leak. Fortunately, the repair was much smoother this time around, and credit for that goes to Robert and his crew at AREM. Robert was able to stop by and provide an estimate the day my quote request went out, diagnose the source of and stop the leak the next day, and repair the drywall and paint the day after that. Throughout the process, Robert was courteous and responsive to communication, and his prices are fair. He also stands behind his work, which is reassuring. AREM offers a fully array of services – from repairing water and fire damage to rebuilding decks to cleaning gutters – and I will gladly turn their way in the future (hopefully, for something unrelated to our ceiling).
