I have used Wright's every year since about 1996 or 1997. In each case, the crew (two men) showed up when they said they would, were very pleasant and personable, and did a very good job. When they arrive, they asked if there was any problem that had occurred since last year, and did I need any service other than their usual annual service. I didn't, but I was glad they asked, because it made me think a bit about what was needed. I have a wood stove in my living room. They first went outside onto the roof and checked over the chase and the cap. I told them there had been some repairs done in that area since their last visit, and to make sure that everything looked OK. They then came in and laid out tarps on the floor to protect it from soot. They opened up the wood stove, cleaned it out, disassembled and cleaned out the pipes, then pulled out and checked the catalytic converter. They didn't expect problems since they had done the 5 year replacement last year, and it was in good shape, so they did not have to change it. They left the living room spotless, and the wood stove was totally vacuumed out and really clean.. Every year they send a postcard in mid March, suggesting that a scheduled cleaning be set up. They have a sequence of rates rising by month beginning in March (their low season) to encourage early cleaning. The fall/winter rush is heavy and they charge more then, so this is a good way to get it done early and cheaper. I have nothing but good to say for these guys, and I certainly would recommend them to anyone. Its such a pleasure to work with an outfit who will do what they say, when they say, and for the agreed upon price. I used to be a landlord, and I had to deal with a lot of people who would not show up on time, then do a half-way job, and then try to increase the price on the job (even though nothing had changed) that we had totally agreed upon at the beginning. For example, the kid who used to mow one of my lawns would stop in the middle of the job, say it was too hot, then ask for more money than what we agreed on. The yard is half mowed, and I don't want to do it, so he has me. He did that a couple of times, before I dumped him. Its a kid, I know, but it was typical of what I ran into.

Had to wait a couple of weeks for appointment, which was fine with me. Two men were professional and friendly. Excellent job. I was a little surprised at the price because I responded to a coupon, being a previous customer, and was informed that the discount was off their newer, higher price - not the price I paid last Fall. I was told the appt was for 8:30, but they really came a little after 9AM. I received a well-written document of recommendations and am considering repairs with the same company.

Crew implied that they were going to fix fire box and then said that it would be a different job at a different time and at extra cost. The crew told me that to plug the flues should be a $700 job instead of $200. Even though they were told not to proceed with original method they did start and the work that they did was mediocre at best. This experience convinced me that I would not purchase gas logs from them.

Not only did they do a great job, leaving my living room spotless, they were able to do it an hour earlier than scheduled, which worked out for me. Friendly and professional service.

Part was late arriving. 1st crew arrived without part. 2nd crew brought part, but mis-installed it; it blew off within days. The third visit they finally got it right

First we had our chimney swept. The two young men were very personable, efficient and had given a price up front. When finished we were given a detailed report with suggestions and although one recommendation was to have the chimney relined they were not aggressive in recommending their company. So, we visited their shop, spoke to the owner and arranged for the chimney to be relined. We highly recommend this company. Their workers and work are superb. We'd certainly use them again.

They have quite a wide selection of gas logs at their store. The people there were very knowledgeable about the kinds and what you would need. When they came to install them, they were very good about how to use them. I will continue to use them in the future.

Very pleased with service. Company is professional and thorough. Called to confirm appointment on day prior and called to let me know they would be slightly late in arriving for appointment. They protected my living room from dust while cleaning. Reviewed fireplace safety with us. Both technicians were cordial and professional.
