After the manager asked us to leave the store, we went to the house to await the delivery. The hot tub arrived within the hour- about 2pm. The delivery men were very pleasant and professional. The manager also was at the site. I found it interesting that none of the workers would talk or smile when he was present......... This company would probaby be more successful if they removed the manager. He is the poster child for bad customer service!!!!
Description of Work: The provider was contracted to move the hot tub to a new location. Date and time were confirmed the week before. Time was critical because of prior engagements on our part therefore the hot tub had to be moved in the early afternoon at the latest. A few days prior to the move the provider called and asked if we could postpone the morning transfer to the afternoon (so they could do another job in the morning) - we agreed to an early afternoon time (directly after lunch). We went to the store to reinforce the need for the early afternoon transfer. The manager was present and became VERY argumentative and demeaning with us. He stated he did not care what other obligations we had and that the tub would arrive when it arrives! He then accused us of using profanity with him!!!! I had never been so verbally abused by a customer service person as him. He had us hostage with a contract and a 50% deposit or I would have walked out! The other workers in the store were very professional and seemed embarrassed by the manager's behavior. If he treats clients like this, I would hate to be his employee!!!

I love the pool and even though they had to re-do the coating on the inside the next year(by no fault of their own, it was a sub) my problem has come with the light that they installed. The first year the light was white when it was supposed to be multi colored. Year 1.They came the next year and installed the correct light which is programable, this is where the problem started. The first year it worked great Year 2.The next year(year three for pool but year2 for the new light) I could not get it to program correctly so I called them and told them. They sent someone out and told me that it was an electrical problem that I had a circuit out. I called my electrician, he came and checked it and told me it was NOT my electrical connection so I recalled them and told them of the findings( my electrician said it was in the electronic board they had installed). By this time it was near seasons end so their rep told my to call him in the spring and he would fix it. Year four started with my calling to remind him of our conversation from the previous year. This went back and forth for most of the summer with them ordering a part then they forgot about by the time someone finally came to fix it ,it still did not address the problem. I then called the what I assume is the head man there since that is whom they sent me to, his name is Houston. Told him of this crazy ,4 years by this time, story of this light that actually only worked for approx. 3 months due to a fault within a very expensive board that to this day is still not repaired. I feel reasonably confident that I annoyed these people enough that this should have been addressed the very first year but it seems that after they got their money all they did was run me back and forth from Asheville store to the Greenville store without anyone being accountable for my problem like it wasn't a big deal. By the way, 2 months after my pool was installed one of my friends installed a pool off of my referral of Hot Springs, not even the slightest acknowledgment from them not that it was required but just a taste of their lack of customer appreciation.

They were very informative and knowledgeable. They provided detailed information at their store location and sent someone to the building site to discuss options with us. Although we decided to go with another vendor, we were very pleased with Hot Springs and would recommend them to others.
