Excellent. Arrived at the expected time. We are a small HOA community with 20 units. The team who came were efficient, professional and thorough. They identified problems and made us aware of them clearly. Our vents hadn't been cleaned for three years, that won't be happening again. We will be calling on this company every year. Have heard positive feedback from many of our TownHome owners.

Dwight and Travis of Carolina Ductmasters did an excellent job, and the cost was reasonable.

They arrived early, were very nice, clean, professional. Got right to work, had all the tools/equipment they needed. Asked questions and got approval on location of new duct system. Did an excellent job. They took a little longer than originally estimated, but they ran into a problem that wasn't visible until they started. I will hire them again. I highly recommend this company.

The team arrived promptly to complete the work. Everything went well. They cleaned all registers, returns, ducts from the furnace up, and the fireplace flue. They also advised that our flue damper was not sealing properly (65 years old) and that there is an alternative that can be installed. It was a good suggestion. They didn't have the exact furnace filter size we needed so put something close in for the time being. we will replace it shortly once loosened debris in the ducts cycles through and is caught by the filter. We had just moved into this house that was vacant for years, so I am glad to have the peace of mind knowing the ducts have been cleaned and we start fresh. Ductmaster did great work and for a great price- they honored the Angie's List coupon posted at the time I contracted their services.

Nothing!!!!! Called last week and explained we had a gas insert fireplace. Asked if they could come out to service, clean and evaluate next steps to have it running safely and correctly. Woman was friendly said $150 for cleaning and service call. Guys came out. They were friendly and helpful but said they do not service gas insert fireplaces. Charged me $100 and left. I called and complained because there was an obvious misunderstanding somewhere along the line. Woman said she remembered me and had notes referencing my appt phone call and that she told me they didn't service gas. I then asked why would I have scheduled an appt if you don't do that type of work and why would you have set the appt. She said let me tell to my manager who then got on the phone and yelled at me threatening to take me to small claims court for calling and demanding my money back.

He arrived on schedule and quickly and efficiently cleaned the clothes dryer ductwork using both a vacuum system and brushes. He also opened the clothes dryer cabinet and cleaned the interior. Additionally, he replaced the flexible ductwork from the dry to the wall.

From the original contact with Marshall of Carolina Ductmasters I was treated very well and he took the time to explain exactly what work was to be performed. He answered a few questions that I had relative to the work. I called the next day to schedule the work. Their schedule allowed me to be somewhat flexible and it was scheduled for the following week at my convenience. On the date and time that was agreed upon 2 men (Shawn & Lee) arrived and explained exactly what was to be done by them and answered a couple of questions that I had. Once they started to do their work, it was done very efficiently and they made sure that the area that they worked in was cleaned prior to moving on to the next area. Both of these men were very courteous to both me and my wife and at the end of their work again took time to further explain what we could expect . Prior to leaving they stressed the fact that if any problems arose that we shouldn't hesitate to contact the office.

I was very pleased with their work. One service person performed all the duct cleaning. They removed each register and return grill and vacuumed it thoroughly while taking great care to be very tidy. The actual vacuum was in the truck and the hose was in the house. They were able to come a little earlier than the appointed time as they had an earlier cancellation and the service man called us to ask our permission to come before our appointment time. He completed our job in 2 hours.I would definitely give them an A+.

It went well. They cleaned all of our duct and they also recommend in repairing our fireplace for us. They were very courteous and the speed of service was great.

They were great to work with. Scheduling was easy and they arrived as on time. Two technicians came to the home and it took them under an hour to do the dryer vent cleaning. They were very nice men to work with.

I could not be happier with the entire process. As noted above, he was very professional and he took his time to make sure everything was very clean. Our house is 15 years old and we are the second owner. The previous owner had pets as do we so I knew the ducts were very dirty. This was confirmed by actually hearing the debris being sucked through the hose! Although he said that it wasn't as bad as I thought, it definitely needed to be done as there was evidence of material in the ducts from the time the house was built! Gross! I will be using them again next year and would and have recommended this company to others.

I've never had my ducts cleaned before, so I have nothing to compare this experience with. All I can share is how it compared to my expectations. Whether or not my expectations are reasonable, I cannot say. One of the crew members had called in sick that morning, so only one person showed up to do a job that is usually done by two people. I appreciated his honoring the appointment. I'm not sure whether having only one person impacted the thoroughness of the job or not. I will say that the person who came was very nice, friendly, and responsive. But the overall impression of the equipment he used was less professional than I expected. The reason I had this service performed was to improve the quality of the air in my home. What concerned me about the quality of the work is that for several days after the service, there was a stale odor coming through my system, in spite of the fact that he had sprayed a deodorizer into the system when he was finished cleaning. I can appreciate that cleaning the ducts out would stir up particles that would need to settle out of the system. But I was not happy with the results compared to what I expected. If what I experienced is typical, it might have been good for him to let me know what to expect and why. If I ever have this service done again, I will try another company, just to see if this result is typical or whether it was an inferior job.

I called to have my air ducts cleaned due to my allergies. They were able to come out two days later. The guys were timely and did a good job. They were careful when moving my furniture to get to the vent. When they went under the house they saw my dryer vent line was down, so they re-hung it and cleaned it. Although they charged me $75 more it was well worth it because my clothes dry so much faster. My allergies have also improved since the ducts were cleaned. I would definately recommend these guys and use them again.

They arrived on time and set about working very quickly after explaining what they would cover. I am very happy with the service I was provided and will use them again when the need arises. I will recommend them to friends and family.

it was one of the best experienced I've had. very courteous, puncture, and knowledgeable about all services that wsee being performer. I would definitely use them again because they answered all my questions.

Technician arrived on time and proceeded to bring vacuum hoses and cleaning brushes into home. Each floor duct was brushed and vacuumed as were all four air intakes. Two of the ducts were located under cabinets and were inaccessible from inside the home so the technician went into the crawl space, disconnected the air duct tubes and cleaned/vacuumed both ducts. Everything was completed in a professional manner.

It went great! The guys showed up promptly and got the dirty job done! They were professional and informative too. My family and I just moved to South Carolina and moved into a supposedly "clean" rental home... Not only was the rental home unsanitary (you can hide filthy!) and far from "clean", but the air ducts and system looked like it had NEVER been cleaned... coming from a mama of little ones, this was very gross. However, Carolina Ductmasters saved the day. They let me take pics and I documented everything, including the dead animal they found in the vent system... When they were done with the services, I was a little more at ease knowing the air quality for my little ones and us was better and a lot cleaner than before. The guys did a great job and didn't miss a step. The services performed were well worth the cost to me. If I had to choose between breathing in dead animals and rodent feces/waste or paying to have professionals come out and clean the air ducts that give us our air to breathe... I'd pay Carolina Ductmasters to come out for a visit! *p.s.* Unfortunately, due to the long term neglect of the home and the unsanitary conditions- I've decided to move my family into a healthier living environment. Note to self: Always check beforehand to make sure the Landlord/home owner is willing to cover air ventilation cleaning costs done by PROFESSIONALS (telling me a shop vac with a 3 foot hose would have done the job "just fine" doesn't count in a moms eyes!). Lesson learned, but it was well worth the money to know for sure that what my children were breathing was clean and sanitary. Carolina Ductmasters did exactly what was needed, comforting experience from this company. I'll recommend them whenever I get the chance.

They were very good. They were very trusting. They called before they came as well as the day before. Everyone was very friendly. They were very friendly to my dogs as well.

This company did a fine job cleaning the ducts and dryer vent in my house. I assumed that they would do an equally good job installing the cold air return vents so I would be able to use filters (the house was built without the ability to filter the air). We were not going to be at our home for a couple of weeks so I made arrangements for them to be allowed in and to do their work without oversight based on my expectation that they would do a professional job. I came home the Sunday before Christmas to find that they installed the return vents but had not put any filters in them or left the dimensions of the necessary filters. During the installation, they must have beaten or torqued the stud that the vent was attached to causing nail pops up the entire length of the stud. We had just had the inside of the house painted. I called them on Christmas Eve (Monday) and was told that the manager would call me back and that the owner was out of the country. It was no surprise that I didn't get a call back since it was the holidays. We took pictures and had the painter fix the wall. She only charged $75 even though she had to repaint that whole section of wall to make the paint match. I called again after Christmas and their service manager called me a day later. I explained what happened and he seemed to understand. He said that he would tell the front office and someone would get back with me. They didn't. I called again after New Years and got the owner or general manager. He was very defensive and told me that things just happen during installation. He said that I shouldn't have fixed the problem because they had people for that. He didn't even want to see my photos and said they didn't matter. I told him I was disappointed that nobody called to say they messed the wall up and would have someone fix it. He just kept trying to rationalize the situation and said that he wouldn't be able to pay for the repairs because they had their own people who could have done it cheaper. I have not heard back from them and it is January 11, 2013. I don't expect that I will. It was not surprising that the wall was damaged. It was not surprising that their wasn't anyone around during the holidays to jump right on the problem. It WAS surprising to find a manager who was not interested in correcting the problem caused by his workers.

Carolina Ductmasters gave me an instant estimate over the phone and scheduled service the next day. They arrived early and worked very diligently to complete the jobs. They were very thorough in their work and very informative of the condition of the chimney and ductwork. The price was very reasonable for all the work they did for me. I was very impressed overall and would definitely use the company again and recommend them to others as well.

This is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Everything has gone wrong, from the initial visit to phone calls to now they won't return my call. I've given them numerous times to rectify the situation, and they refuse. First visit- they replaced the bathroom ductwork. The request was for laundry room, and there are 2 bathrooms, so I'm not sure how they even had clarification on bathrooms, which one should they do? A quick call would have clarified that they were supposed to do the laundry room. Tenant came home that night and was unhappy, smell still made her eyes water. I received a call that day demanding payment. I said that we needed to have the work done before we would pay. This is less than 12 hours from the time they performed the incorrect work. I was hung up on. The owner called my husband and threatened to call the sheriff and have a lein put on our property. My husband said if that's what you need to do to run your business, to go ahead, but we would pay as soon as they replaced the duct that we asked them to. They came out to replace it, and we paid the same day with high pressure techniques without having an opportunity to check with our tenant. The smell remained. They came back and squirted skunk deoderizer into the ducts. We realized that they weren't up to the task, so we called another company. He assumed that they had done what they said they had, so he looked for less obvious trouble spots. He vaccuumed out the entire system, and there as a mound of cat hair, litter, even receipts. Seems they didn't clean it out so well. He coated the inside of the ducts, and cleaned the heating coil. He cleaned the gunk off the return. We had to call the second guy out because while it was better, it was still noticable. He rechecked the ductwork that they said they replaced, and found that there was a section covered by plywood, which lead to the vent in the floor of the laundry room. Bingo- they hadn't replaced it. It reeks of cat urine smell. He replaced it, and we have it in a bag, ready for whatever action we need to take against this shoddy company. If they hadn't been so lazy the first time, and actually replaced the full line, rather than going up to the easy part, and leaving the rest for someone else to deal with, our tenant would have had a much better first month, and we would have saved a lot of money. I will never, ever deal with this comopany again. The second guy said he would keep coming out until the problem was fixed. He was a man of his word. He didn't charge us any extra, even though he made 2 additional visits. We are very happy customers of his, and have recommended him numerous times. The awful customer service, the panic about getting their money, even while not at all concerned about whether or not they had done the job well, the threats, the shoddy workmanship (the man said it was his stepson who did the work- not him) made for a horrible experience, not to mention that our tenant had to live in very unpleasant circumstances while this company was not competant to do the work. I wish I had never called them, complete waste of $350. Useless.
