The electrician brought along an apprentice. The apprentice installed the track light, and the electrician installed the ceiling fan. Both the light installation and the fan installation went as I would expect a professional installation to go. I did not like the results of the bathroom exhaust fan, but it was the fan itself that caused the problem, not the electrician. I have arranged to purchase a better quality fan from the electrician, and he will install it at a later date. I am not anticipating any discount for the pending job. I gave a "B" rating on price, because I was charged for two electricians for the two hours of work, even though the apprentice finished his installation in less than an hour. So I essentially paid him (as a licensed electrician) the rest of his time at my house for him to do nothing. Nevertheless, I liked the workers and the work they performed and I would use the company again. However, I will ask that, for future jobs, the company not send apprentices.

I feel that the extra 1.5 hours (I guess for travel time) was excessive. I did not catch this discrepancy until he was gone, but I am glad I vacuumed and did not add more to the hourly rate.

Since the work was done on our rental unit, we relied on the tenant to give us the feedback. They were pleased and we do intend to use them again.

Scheduling was smooth and there were no troubles. My ceiling is 18 feet tall and they had to rent scaffolding to reach it. They charged additional fees for the renting of the scaffolding and a service call which I was not expecting. I did understand where they were coming from, but I wish they had explained this to me ahead of time. Two men completed the work and they finished within an hour and fifteen minutes. They did great with the work. They were really nice, pleasant, and knew what they were doing. Everything turned out fine.

Purchased the two hours of electrical service deal from Angie's List and had no problems setting up the appointment using email and a brief phone call. Derek and his helper showed up on time, did an excellent job on my to-do list, and were thorough and detail oriented in all phases of the work. Derek even had to go into the crawl space of my home to relocate wiring for my range outlet and did that without a moments hesitation. Will use again in the near future and would definitely recommend to others.

Better than expected.

There were two brothers, members of the family business, who showed up. They were professional, went right to work and got the job done quickly and efficiently. This was one of Angies Specials: two hours of electrical work for $79.00. The two brothers performed all of the work in about an hour. Would definitely call them again!

Not much to say except that it went as planned in excellent time.

The Angies list special for the 2 hours of electrical with this provider caught my attention because I had used this electrical contractor about a year ago for a larger job and it went well. After purchasing on a Friday I received an email on a Sunday evening with a phone number to contact to arrange for services. Called on Monday morning and Derek answered and told me he would try to arrange to come out later that day. He confirmed the appointment in a couple of hours and came out later that day. Derek and his brother came out exactly when they said and were very personable and professional. They split up the work and finished in a little over an hour. They charged $5.00 for a few parts and cleaned up and demonstrated the new equipment before they left. They did quality work for a reasonable price and were very professional and courteous. I won't hesitate to use them again for small or large projects.

Bought the $79.00 for two man-hours deal on Sunday and got an e-mail Sunday night! E-mail said to call them if I didn't hear from them by end of day, Monday. I decided to call Monday morning instead of waiting for a call. They set the appointment for Wednesday at 8am - but they said they'd call if something opened up on Tuesday. He also said he'd bring another man, so that it would be 1 hour of 2-man service. They did call Tuesday and came Tuesday afternoon. They got done what I wanted in the one hour time and only charged me for $30 in parts. They were very professional and personable. I will absolutely use them again and recommend them.

John and Derek were great. Explained to me what they were going to do and did it in a very prompt manner. Worked looked good when they were finished. Even talked to them about some future work for a barn I will be retrofitting this summer. Nice guys, good service. Will be calling on them in the future.

He was able to get that done in one hour and it was the electrician plus his brother and they gave me one hour as opposed to 2 with 1 man hour. They did a great job. I would use them again. They were good on the scheduling and they were prompt. They were courteous. They got the job done neatly and efficiently. Their prices seemed reasonable to me. I had them provide quotes for other jobs around the house and I plan to use them again.

They are very reliable and they show up when they say they are going to show up. They do clean and quality work. The guys that show up are clean and presentable looking guys. They are professional. Their pricing is competitive and they do good work. It has always been good working with them.

I contacted Buckingham Electric as one of 3 companies I found listed as having experience with emergency generator electrical work. John from Buckingham came out on the day I called made and made an appointment to come out and provide an estimate that day. He looked at what I needed and then called back on the same day after pricing the cost of the panel and other parts. He was very flexible about different options and gave me an estimate before any other had even returned my call. Afer a verbal confirmation he ordered the panel and scheduled the installation as soon as the parts arrived in about 10 days. Note: there was some deley with parts because panels were in demand right after Hurricane Sandy. John and his assisstant arrived right on time and were very professional with the installation. It required attaching the new panel to a concrete wall and wiring the circuits I had identified to the new panel. They then had to route to an inlet box on the outsdide about 15 feet from the panel. They patiently reviewed the circuits with me and tested each one to made sure the load was not to high. They then connected the generator to the new system and tested all circuits with the maximum load I could put on them. John reviwed with me exactly how to use everything. Everything checked out and they were finished in half a day. I plan to use Buckingham for more work in the future.
