Nice guys and professional throughout the process. I was surprised to find bill for $275 when the Angie's List Deal was for $79 for 2 hours of electrical work. Upon their arrival i was informed that there were 2 electricians on site for the job so it would be 1 hour for $79? I still fail to grasp this concept as the deal was for time not for the amount of workers. The owner explained this to me and said it was to my advantage as it was not an electrician and a helper as is typically the case and that it would allow them to complete job more quickly by working individually on the 2 projects. However it seemed that both of the electricians were cooperatively working on a confusing wiring problem for the bulk of the time i was present. I was then informed that i was also being charged for "travel time", which I wish they had informed me prior to the job. In essence a job that i anticipated would cost between $100 to 150 wound up being closer to $300. I would give a "bad" rating if not for the owner taking the time to discuss the issue with me at a late hour and their overall responsiveness and professionalism.

We just completed a renovation project and needed to move a 4-switch box, a receptacle and wire a new can light. I purchased a 2-hour block from Buckingham Electric. I submitted a request for three separate times for the upcoming week. Early the next morning, I received a confirmation from Derek. I called him and described what I needed done. He offered me two time options. I chose the next day - talk about prompt scheduling. He arrived promptly at the pre designated time this afternoon. I was out of town, but my wife described what we needed them to do. He did an excellent job repairing everything. I am very pleased with the quality and the price. I will definitely use them for any future electrical work.

It went very well. Both men were very pleasant and professional. Cleaned up after their work. Would definitely recommend them.

I purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" which was for a specific amount of time with the contractor. I had installed ceiling fan/light fixtures where ceiling light fixtures had been. The wiring and switches would not accommodate this, so I had them changed out. I will definitely use Buckingham Electric again and will refer others, as well. They called ahead to say they were on their way, arrived on time, wore protective covering over their shoes to keep my floors clean, cleaned up after themselves, offered options as to how the work could be performed, were courteous, professional and didn't waste any time. My only concern is how the "Big Deal" is worded. It said $79 for two hours work. What it should say is ...for two hours work with one contractor or one hour of work with two. I knew it would probably take longer than two hours, so was prepared to pay an additional fee, but it should be spelled out in the contract of the "Big Deal."

From the first phone call to the provider to the end of the service was seamless. They responded immediately to my phone call for an estimate. Derek came to install the fan. The job was done very well and they were very professional. After they left we realized one blade was backwards. We called Derek and asked if they could come and fix it when they were in the area. Not to make a special trip. He called me a few days later and said he'd be in the area and would fix it. They came and changed it without charging for the trip. I was very impressed. I will definitely call them if I have any further electrical needs.

They arrived on time to the appointment and were professional. Two technicians stayed for a couple hours in total to complete the work. There were additional fees to have they stay longer than the deal allotted. I felt that the hourly rate was fair. All the work went well and they did a good job. Everything worked out fine.

Went great. They worked continuously and cleaned up well. I had a smaller fixture to be installed and they worked hard at placing it so the exsisting holes would not show.I have been very pleases with all the services I have found on angies list.

Excellent customer service. They called when they said they would, showed up when they said the would, completed the work efficiently and professionally and cleaned up after themselves.

They did a great job on both items and we're very careful inside the house. They screwed the pieces cut out of the ceiling & wall back to make patching very easy. Derek realized hours after the job he had missed 2 screws in the canopy & came back the next day to install them. I appreciated their prompt visit to provide an estimate & quick scheduling to complete the work. The were on time and did a really good job.

I signed up for an Angie's Deal special for 2 hours work by one person, although we expected our work would take longer. Derek got back in touch promptly and we set up a time. Derek and his assistant arrived on schedule. His assistant got to work removing and installing the outside light, which we had pre-purchased, while we discussed the possibilities for new kitchen lights with Derek. We left to purchase the new lights while Derek started removing the old ones. We felt that the amount of time and charge was reasonable. They worked quickly and neatly, and we are happy with the job. We would call them again if we needed more work.

They were on time, very professional, very competent, very flexible, and friendly to boot. They did everything I asked and did it extremely well.

Derek replaced an electrical outlet and installed two new outlets in my garage. He responded quickly and the work was performed timely and was of high quality. We would highly recommend Buckingham Electrical for your needs.

Derek arrived on time and even called a little before the scheduled appointment time to say he was on his way. He and his partner were very friendly, efficient, and professional. In addition to addressing the outdoor lighting issue, Derek trouble-shooted some additional outside electrical issues. He identified the power source for a buried power cord that came up out of the ground. He advised me on what it would take to provide power to the garage. I am very pleased with the quality of service and I would not hesitate to use Derek again. I told him that I will likely be calling him soon to install several new ceiling fans and possibly to add power to my garage.

Their work was very well done the new outlet is flush and level. They had to be creative to get it to fit as there was a pipe that ran directly behind the box. They charged a very reasonable price for the materials. I would recommend them to anyone. They are a family owned business with several generations of experience and their skill shines in there work.

They arrived on time, were very pleasant and fixed the problem in a very brief time. They explained the problem. They cleaned up and overall were neat. The workers were respectful and courteous. I would recommend them highly!

Dereck responded soon after I inquired. We arranged a date and time to do the work. He called me 30 minutes before the appointment and showed up as promised. He was professional, and fully competent and capable capable of completing the work and clean up in the allotted time. I am satisfied and I will recommend him to my friends, neighbors, and relatives.

I felt he was really pricey. I was quoted one price over the phone and then when he showed up a higher price was quoted to me that was different than that given over the phone.

All work was performed efficiently and thoroughly. Good clean up and attention to detail. Locating a loose wiring connection in our garage door opener showed excellent troubleshooting to locate the problem and correct it. Using this service as an Angie's List Special was very much worth it!
