Two electricians arrived as scheduled and got right to work. They quickly assessed the work and efficiently divided it so that everything I needed was completed within about an hour. Everything works great. They guys are awesome. Extremely polite and professional. I have never had a bad experience with Buckingham Electric.

I was impressed and pleased with this company throughout the service. The woman that I initially spoke to was very pleasant on the phone. She let me know that I would be receiving a call soon from Derek. I appreciated that Derek, one of the electricians who would be doing the service, called me back to set up the appointment shortly after I made the initial call?they were able to come out within a couple days. He called to confirm that they were on their way the morning of the service and they were on time. Derek and Brandon were both very polite and professional as well as generally pleasant, friendly people and were very kind to my dogs who were being somewhat pesky during the service. They clearly went over my inspection list, as well as discussing some other upgrades that we were considering and explained everything to me, giving me options and recommendations as well as being willing to explain things to my husband by phone during the service. Although it was unnecessary in my house, I appreciated that they wore protective shoe covers (which were awesome giant Croc-like shoes) each time they came in the house even though my floors were quite dirty due to the muddy pawed dogs?I know that a lot of people would appreciate how neat and tidy they were in all of their work. I felt that they were very thorough and efficient and easily worked around various things that were going on in the house as well as carefully moving things to get to what they were working on. There was much to do to address everything on my list, including a lot of troubleshooting with some fuses that had been getting blown and they seemed to do everything in a very orderly and organized fashion. I also appreciated the very neat writing on the job invoice and estimates for future upgrades?it was very easy to see what had been done and exactly what was paid for all of the materials as well as very clear to see what the future service would entail. The fridge magnet was a nice touch. Thank you for the great work.

They were timely, very nice and professional. They were also honest and thorough. Will definitely use them again if I need any electrical work. Loose connection at main circuit breaker was arching causing the breaker to fail.

We were very pleased with the service provided by Derek and Howie of Buckingham Electric. We purchased a new home in Asheville and were eager to replace the dated lights in the home. I called on a Friday and was scheduled for the first appointment the following Tuesday. They were on time this morning and got right to work. Having two electricians on this service call meant that the work was completed quickly and efficiently. I will not hesitate to call Buckingham Electric when I need an electrician in the future.

It was pretty good. There was an additional charge for the power box. What stood out was the customer service and how they performed it. They did a good job.

Two men arrived on time, after calling me, as promised, immediately went to work, after informing me that the two hours of work paid for in this Angie's List sale would actually be only one hour, as both men would be credited with an hour, each. They agreed with me that the bargain information should have stated this, and that Angie's List should correct this, in future. Even so, the workers were so professional and efficient, they managed to make the replacements, test them, and be finished well within one hour, fortunately for me. They had to use a very tall ladder which took skill, balance and experience. They managed all three with professional aplomb. They cleaned up after the replacements, gave me their cards, shook my hand and were on their way to their next appointment. I was/am utterly and completely happy with this firm, their workers, and their work. Superior in every way!

The two employees from Buckingham were efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and professional. We couldn't be happier with the price, their responsiveness, and professionalism. We will be sure to use them for all our electrical work and recommend them to our friends and family. Should you need electrical work, Buckingham Electric should be your first choice.

Derek, one of the owner's sons, gave me the estimate. Although it was not the lowest estimate I got, Derek assured me that he would insure that the appropriate permits were obtained and sufficient electricians brought in to complete the work quickly. On one day, I had seven electricians installing can lights, upgrading wiring and outlets and installing the underground service, ground and related panel. I oversaw international construction in my working career, and I can honestly say that Derek and the young tradesmen Buckingham brought to my job gave me a good feeling about the competence of the young workers we are producing in this country. They were as neat as you can be while doing a remodeling, honest about the difficulties they encountered and ALWAYS punctual! We will use these folks again---they are not the cheapest, but they are hardworking and as honest as you could hope to find!
