Derek & assistant are very professional & competent. Complete confidence in them. They thoroughly explained what was involved before doing it. I would most definitely hire again for any electrical project.

Derek and his assistant were terrific. They were on time, called as they were on their way, cleaned up when they were done. Very professional and I felt the price was very fair. One job took less time than he anticipated, so the bill was less. I referred them to my neighbor who also could not stop talking about the great job they did for her, on things other electricians had never resolved.

Derek from Buckingham Electric did electrical repairs at my home. I highly recommend these guys. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and got the job done right in a timely fashion. Their work was excellent, and their customer service was exceptional as well.

To no fault of Derek and Brandon, the manufacturer sent the chandelier (which they were going to hang in the dining area) with parts missing, so they gladly installed the ceiling fan w/ light instead. I had just purchased it the night before and it wasn't part of the original plan. Derek and Brandon went above and beyond the call of duty and patched the area where they had changed the location for the fan. This was because the 1st fixture was not connected into a stud and the electrical box was only connected on one end; as a result the original light fixture had been ready to fall due to negligent work on the part of the original electricians for the house. Then they showed me how to use the remote and hung it where I wanted it. When the Tiffany fixture was hung, Derek climbed up and down numerous times in the process to look and adjust the height, etc. just exactly how I wanted it. Both Derek and Brandon really listened to what I wanted and were happy to advise professionally when I asked for their opinion, but they never tried to force their opinion and were very concerned about my satisfaction with their work. They worked very hard the entire time, were so kind and courteous, were experienced and professional, and they made it all a very pleasant experience. They cleaned up any debris afterwards as well. When the chandelier replacement comes, they are the ones I trust to come and install it properly, knowing they might run into other problems left by the original electricians again (hope not:). To top it off, they even tightened the door knob for me on their way out (which I had forgotten to tighten when I noticed it one day). I would highly recommend Buckingham Electric to anyone who wants people they can trust and feel comfortable with in their home who do quality work for a fair price.

They squeezed us in on less than one day's notice when I explained that we had a short window to complete the project. The electrician and helper were knowledgeable, professional and personable. They listened to what I wanted, discussed several options with me and let me determine which option worked best for me. They worked quickly and efficiently, saving me money. They did the job right, the first time. I will use this company again for future projects and service needs.

The men were VERY professional. Made sure they took their shoes on/off when they came in/out of the house. All work was completed in approximately three hours. Called prior to their scheduled arrival and arrived on-time. Would definitely recommend them to friends/family. We are VERY happy with the services of Buckingham Electric.

Derek was very responsive and fit me into his busy schedule very quickly. He stayed in touch and let me know when he was done. Easiest repair I've had done in a long time, and for a great price. Will recommend him to everyone I know.

when I called each time, they were fairly quick to get me on the schedule. They arrived on time and got right to work. They were tidy and cleaned up as they worked. The new floodlight was installed so that it is positioned correctly but had it not been satisfactory they said they would come back and make sure I was happy with the position. The outlet has also been great.

Derek & Johnny got there at time promised and starting working on some light switches that had to be jiggled to work and were popping inside the switch. They removed the bad switches and replaced them and had to do some re-wiring of dimmers to get everything to work right. The guys did a great job and explained everything as they were going along. They were personable, polite, I could tell that doing a good job was important to them, and they cleaned up when they were finished. Could not have been any happier and will definitely use them in the future.

Excellent service! They are knowledgeable efficient and very friendly. They listened to my issues with the electrical in my house and started knocking out the projects right away. I have more work to be done and will definitely use Buckingham. I highly recommend them!

Let me begin by saying that I am a very picky consumer. Recently I hired Buckingham electric to run eight drops of cat five cable throughout my existing home. To say that I am pleased with the quality of their work would be a huge understatement. These guys were fantastic! They did everything right from being super responsive when I initially called with my inquiry, coming out and providing an estimate in a timely manner, and calling me a half hour prior to their arrival per my request. They were highly efficient and provided a quality installation from start to finish. I'll be a customer for life! If you are in need of any type of electrical work, save yourself from the headaches just hire these guys. You'll be glad you did.

They were great! Derek and Brandon were professional, very friendly, and worked quickly and efficiently to take care of a number of things we needed help with. We didn't know what quite a few switches in our new house actually operated, so they took time checking everything out and helping us make a list so we'll have a reference until we can remember them all. Derek gave us a discount because of Angie's List. We were completely satisfied and would absolutely hire them again, as well as recommending them to anyone needing electrical work done,

They did different minor things. They worked for an hour because they brought two people. I wasn't really thrilled about that because they did not disclose that at the beginning. The work was fine. We were suppose to get two hours of work but since there were two workers they were only here for an hour.

The "deal" for 2 hours of electrical service grew in scope -- 2 electricians showed up and I was told that would equate to only 1 hour of service. After relocating the functional cable jacks, the TV/internet wasn't working. It took them an inordinate amount of time to identify/isolate the problem -- time that I'm sure I ended up paying for.

Two guys arrived so we had one hour of both their time (two total labor hours). They worked both together and independently and completed all of the tasks I had on our punch list within the hour. They were pleasant, professional, and courteous, and seemed knowledgable about electrical issues. We would/will use them again.

Problem was discovered when cable internet went out. Tech thought it was a bad ground wire somewhere between the pole and my house. I called the power company to check the lines. They arrived at midnight, and after inspection, discovered that the very old wires on the house leading to the meter box were bare, and pole and the meter box were hot. (you could see a small glowing red spot) Power company guy immediately cut off all electricity to the house and said I needed to call an electrician in the morning. It was 1AM when he left me in the dark with no power. At 7:45 the next morning I called Derek at Buckingham Electric. and explained the situation. He asked me where I lived, said he was nearby and was on the way. At 7:50 he was at my house. He did an assessment, said he'd put me at the top of the list that day, and reassured me that they would be able to fix the problem. He and his assistant left for 20 minutes, and came back with the necessary items for the repair. At 8:45 the problem was fixed and my power was back on. Price: $280.00. Amazing. He didn't charge me for the emergency call. I would definitely recommend Buckingham Electric to anyone, and will use them exclusively for any and all electrical needs in the future!!

I contacted the company and did not receive any apology just a message to call Derek. I felt it should have been his responsibility to call me, the customer, but I let it go. We scheduled another estimate date for 6/10. Derek showed and was professional and kind and I figured the previous mishap was just a fluke. HOWEVER, it is now 6/29 and I have never received an estimate. I contacted the company and they sent me yet another short and curt message telling me to call Derek. No, I will not call Derek. Horrible customer service, follow through and pathetic attempts at trying to retain clients. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They're too large to handle the jobs they're taking on and you pay the price for it.

They were very efficient and conscientious with their work and our budget. They gave us options, which made the job much better that what we had in mind.

Two individuals showed up. In my opinion, the one is charge was unprofessional (the son of the company's owner). His assistant was a professional, through-and-through. The one in charge, the company's owners son, (I forgot his name, hes a blond short hairdo) was attempting to pry into my personal life (it led to unnecessary awkwardness). After the awkwardness he claimed that the deal offered was one individual for 2hrs. Since there were two of them they would be here for 1 hour at the same rate. I was befuddled by his logic, but allowed him to continue. They arrived in a parts van but he said that he didn't have the necessary stuff for the job. I needed 3 receptacles (outlets), a 12' length of romex, and a breaker. Not sure what they keep in that van but the stuff I needed was standard (my father was a master electrician). They had to, "go get the stuff from a supply store". Well, that took over an hour. I was charged for that hour. When they began working the deal had already expired and I was being billed an hourly rate. I ended up paying a little over 400 bones and cosmetically the work was hideous.

A special deal was listed for Buckingham electric and I called them. I left my number but they never called back.

The guys arrived on schedule, were professional and completed the project quickly and efficiently. I'd definitely use them again in the future.
