Unfortunately, I would not recommend using Best Reflections to anyone. When I began looking for a company to install tint to our brand new Subaru Outback, Best Reflections was one who seemed to have good reviews. They also maintained higher prices, and I felt inclined to pay more and expected receive a high quality product in return. As it turns out, the job was poorly done and not only did I pay a large sum of money ($600 for 7 windows), the business owner refused to fix mistakes, and actually blamed the customer (me) for his subpar job, and stated I should pay more to have his mistakes fixed. Therefore I am unable to give this company a positive review. I had the windows tinted on three cars for a total of 7 windows. There were major mistakes to 5 of these. I do not mean small air bubbles. That is something you must expect; these mistakes were major as seen in the pictures below . Attached to each is a picture of the window following install of window tint. Subaru Outback – 3M Crystalline installed on Driver/Passenger door $200 - Driver’s window: Installer (the business owner) used tint in which he knew the plotter (ie. tint cutter) messed up, leaving small triangles in multiple spots along the edge. He admitted to knowing the plotter did not cut the tint correctly. (http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww55/1979Berlinetta/Window%20Tint/20160821_151150_zpsxqmqgkor.jpg) (http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww55/1979Berlinetta/Window%20Tint/20160821_151201_zpskgzej20s.jpg) - Passenger window: Quarter sized wrinkle that was very obvious as well as additional areas where the plotter must have mis-cut. The vent window had large gaps all the way around, and was off-center. (http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww55/1979Berlinetta/Window%20Tint/20160821_145201_zps7ebrbrpx.jpg) (http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww55/1979Berlinetta/Window%20Tint/20160821_125442_zpsc4h7t454.jpg) - The installer removed the film and reinstalled, however upon inspection when I got home (I was not home when he reinstalled the film) I noticed a 2” by 1” scratch in the clear coat on the inside window frame. This is a brand new 2017 Outback that we have owned 3 weeks. If you have a brand new car, would you trust this company to take care of it and not scratch it up? I know I was not happy to have our brand new car be messed up. When asked, he denied stating he doesn’t use razor blades. This is an area I have probably never even touched, however he clearly was using some kind of tool (even if he doesn’t use razor blades) to apply tint. This is a brand new car and had no chance of getting scratched in this area before. Is it worth the risk to have this company scratch your new car? (http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww55/1979Berlinetta/Window%20Tint/received_10102412196196531_zpsfviet08n.jpeg) Jeep Wrangler – 3M Crystalline installed on Driver/Passenger door $200 - When the installer was applying tint to the Outback, I vacuumed out the Jeep as there was a little dog hair in the backseat. We do not have our dog up front, therefore there was very little hair near the windows that tint would be installed. I wanted to be sure this was not issue and spent 30 minutes vacuuming the car. - Passenger Window: Two hairs underneath the tint. (http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww55/1979Berlinetta/Window%20Tint/20160821_145020_zpsjvz5xdvd.jpg) - Very visible to someone both inside and outside the Jeep. I had my wife show him the tint with the hair in it. His response was that it was not his fault that we own the dog and let it in the car. Also he stated that it is not his fault for me procrastinating to clean the car the day he came? He stated that me vacuuming blew around hairs and dirt which caused the issue. First of all the hair would have been seem when he was applying the tint and he obviously did not fixed it during the install. Secondly, if he knew that vacuuming would create issues, why not stop me beforehand. If he is a professional, and this is really an issue, he would have stopped me. I feel he was being dishonest, unprofessional, and defensive while he blames the customer and rationalizes his poorly done job. He stated that this is the best you will get from a mobile service. I don’t believe this to be the case, but know I will never use a mobile service again. He rationalized his very poorly done job on being a mobile service, the customer vacuuming before letting him work (I did not have to clean it up, and was done 20 minutes before he started the Jeep and unlikely I stirred up the air for 20 minute(?)), and the customer owning a dog. Luckily he said he would replace for 50 dollars on one window. So this company does a poor job installing window tint with a bunch of mistakes, then will be happy to make you pay more to have it fixed. - Driver and Passenger Windows – Large specs of dirt along the weatherstrip which was left resulting in pencil eraser sized air bubbles. Dodge Ram – 3M Color stable on rear, 3M FX Hi-performance on Driver/Passenger window - $200 (minus $30 for multiple car) = total of $609 for all 3 cars - Rear and Driver windows – woohoo, no huge mistakes on these! - Passenger side – my tint has a visible cut on the bottom, an inch from the bottom edge, that is 3 inches wide. The owner promptly accused me of rolling down the window too soon. I had not and still have not rolled the windows down on any of the 3 cars. Secondly, the exposed edge of the cut faces up and would not have been created or affected by rolling the windows down. So once again he does not stand behind his work and instead accuses the customer for his mistakes. (http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww55/1979Berlinetta/Window%20Tint/20160821_145428_zpsg4arivhn.jpg) These are detailed descriptions of the tint job performed by Best Reflections. They provided a very poor quality service while charging the highest price I found locally. After fixing the tint on one car, the business owner left scratches on my brand new car. Then when told about further issues with the tint, he rationalized his poor job, accused the customer of being responsible for his poor quality, and said he can’t give everything away for free. While the company does have some good reviews, this is what attracted me, is it worth it to go to this company seeing the quality work they provide? Its like paying for a new Bentley and receiving some old beater car in exchange. I don’t think it is worth the risk. I paid over $600, received a decent tint job on only 2 of 7 windows, and have damage now to the window frame of a car we owned 3 weeks. I know I regret using this company. I asked for a refund and was refused. He said he paid a lot for his tint and can’t work for free. He is unwilling to fix his mistakes and will not provide a quality product. However, he is more than happy to replace if I pay him more! Due to these reasons, I recommend you stay away from this company. They may have a few good reviews, but I can tell you first hand that the way the business owner runs his company Is poor. If he makes a mistake, he will not fix it, instead he will find a way to rationalize it, accuse the customer of creating the mistake, and not stand behind his work. Additionally, he will leave a job even if there are mistakes he knows about. He stated if the customer “cares that much” he would fix it for additional money. If you pay a premium price, shouldn’t you expect high quality. He may know his plotter did not cut tint right, and hopes the customer doesn’t notice or care enough. This is extremely dishonest and is evidence of poor business practice. If you want to pay a high price and receive window tint installed that is of poor quality with multiple mistakes, then Best Reflections might be for you. Otherwise, I recommend you avoid this company.
