I first started with gathering quotes for windows and doors. I ended up choosing Asheville windows and doors. When it came to me signing the contract and of course sending money I was getting calls and emails to try to get that arranged. Once they received their money, that changed. I had to seek updates on order and install and hardware choices. Never heard back from salesperson. In fact, another trade informed me my windows were in. The installers were awesome but the sales person was incredibly hard to communicate with. I’ve left messages with no response emails with no response. Once he did respond he didn’t seem to know what was going on. He was pretty much useless when it came to finding hardware that I wanted for the doors. I had something in mind and sent it to him. But because he waited so long to get back to me that hardware was out of stock and wasn’t coming anytime soon. I had to order different hardware on my own. Now it’s time for my doors to be installed and since then I’ve been rescheduled twice. Now I will have to reschedule the painters that need to stain the doors. Not happy with the customer service nor the sales person with follow up. Will never recommend or use them again.

2-man crew was excellent with a can-do attitude. They asked for our opinions and suggested different ways that the trim could be done. They were native English speakers, so communications and discussions were a pleasure. Good cleanup and excellent craftsmanship. A detailed quote was provided and there were no surprises. They drove 90 minutes each way to our house and this probably added to the cost, but they were worth it. They even returned the day after completion when we noticed an area around the trim that needed a paint touch-up. Wow! It was obvious that they cared about doing the job correctly. Thank you.

After meeting with the owner Scott Ramsey and believing that he would be responsive and helpful with our project, I sent him the information he requested - photos of our current door, measurements, a sketch of the new door we were looking for, a photo of the garage door we were trying to match, etc. Since that time, he has not responded to my original email, repeated phone messages, and additional emails. If he had simply said he was not interested in the project, I would have understood. If you're looking for a door or window company that will be customer-focused, this is definitely NOT the place.

The crew from Asheville Window and Door were superb. Our 100 year old house needed upstairs windows replaced with an unusual window pattern to match existing antique windows. The larger of the new windows was big and heavy. They managed to replace the windows, including the large one, without damaging anything in the house nor in the landscape. The new windows are a perfect match for the original windows. This was an expensive job but you get what you pay for. I would definitely use this company again.

This work has not been performed because the owner has not contacted me to talk about the quote. It seems to me that labor of $1,170 is ridiculous for labor. Don't know what hourly labor rate is, but even at $40 hr that is 31 hrs for 2 doors???

Everything went excellently.

Although they did not do the installation, they helped me design and manufacture two high-quality, custom windows. They were very pleasant to deal with and I would recommend them in the future!

The service turned out very well. Scheduling was fine. I think they did a very good job with good materials. If I have a friend or a neighbor looking for a similar service, I would tell that friend or neighbor that they should talk to them. They were pleasant and helpful. There were no problems. My communication with them was good.

The service turned out fine. We had used them before for another two sets of patio doors. I like the quality of the patio doors, and they did everything they could to put everything back so it looked like it was in it's original condition.

They came on time, installed the windows, replaced the drapes, cleaned up and guaranteed their work.

These guys are personable and professional. They know their products and provide outstanding service. Straightforward and experienced - wish everyone was this good.

Asheville Window & Door arrived promptly at 9:00 as scheduled. They replaced the windows with their Infinity series. After they were finished the house was neater than when they began. I was startled when one of the installers was dusting our furniture with Endust. Apparently it's their practice to leave your house at least as neat and clean as they found it. They made sure to cart away the old window and all they debris. I was stunned by their work ethic and practices and immediately ordered another 7 windows. The entire process to around 7-8 hours.
