Description of Work: I contacted Marvin by phone and then took my lawn mower in to him for repair. I explained to him that I was having knee surgery in a couple of days and needed to get my mower back quickly. He said to me he would do hiis best. Two days later Marvin contacted me, my mower was ready to pick up. Just GREAT service. The repair cost was low and the quality of the work just good. Will call him again in a heartbeat, and will tell anybody about his great service and pricing. Jack Williams PS Nice to find someone with quality work. A 5 STAR businessman.

 + -1 more.Rare bit of luck with the mower and weedeater breaking at the same time. Took both by, very pleasant to talk with. Both items were older but he said he'd do his best. Quoted a two week wait because he's good at what he does and stays very busy. Called two weeks to the day. Both repaired and are running top notch. Great service at a fair price

 + -1 moreMarvin was terrific. He said it would take a couple of weeks to do the work, and he was able to get to it earlier. When he called, he explained that it was a simple problem of a fouled spark plug. He replaced the plug, and now the lawn mower works like it is brand new. Marvin is a bit of a throwback to an era when you knew people personally who did repair work. I will go to him for any appliance repair work in the future. I am not easy to please, as I expect good service, so a good review is not easy to get from me. Marvin is at the top of all the people I've used. Thanks!
Description of Work: He checked out my lawn mower that wouldn't start. Up front, he gave me some ideas of cost and what the problem could be and told me he wouldn't do anything expensive without checking with me first.

 + -1 moreMarvin does such a great job, I've used him numerous times and I'm always pleased with the service he provides. Only trick is finding his shop, which to call and quot;tucked awayand quot; is an understatement. Surprisingly, his location does not affect his business, which is always thriving. Even though he's busy, he gets repairs done in a reasonable amount of time. I'll keep returning to Marvin as long as possible. Services like his are not easily replaced.
