One call to Jason Carnes was all it took. Gave me an estamite and a date that it could be installed and everything was perfect. The men who came were professional and courteous. I highly recommend Air vent!

I contacted Air Vent about my situation. A representative came to my house, took measurements, and wrote a quotation on the spot.

Arrived on time & did great work as usual - I have used them several times.

The sales person (also the owner) gave a thorough consultation. He gave the prices during the visit. He took photos to give to the installer good directions. The installers were on time and kept the house clean. They did more than expected when replacing a door with a window and they even cleaned the windows! The sales person came back at the end and addressed a few questions and gave some advice (that was requested) on a future job. They went above and beyond. I was very impressed. They also sent a thank-you note in the mail the next week.

Checked several window companies in the area....looked at Angie's List for ratings and selected Air Vent Exteriors as one of the bidders on the project.....Bob Carnes, the owner, came to our home, measured everything he needed and was very helpful in suggesting alternative ways to approach "opening up our views", which was the primary motivation of this project....by replacing double hung windows with casements and picture windows, the expansion of views is dramatic! While the pricing was competitive with three others I had quote, it was not necessarily the lowest, but pricing for all was in a very tight range. Turns out this company had also, many years before we purchased the house, installed a "3 season" sun porch on the rear of the house and in the 6 years we have lived in the home, there has never been any problem with that installation...That gave me additional comfort in making my decision. The windows were ordered and installed exactly as proposed. The installers were very professional, prompt and cleaned up everything, including taking away the old windows. We are completely satisfied with everything about the project and would highly recommend Bob and Air Vent Exteriors for any related project. In fact, the installers noticed small scratches (which we never would have seen) in two of the glass panels, pointed those out to us and Bob immediately ordered replacement panels, which will take only about 5 minutes to install when they arrive from the factory. We feel this was beyond our expectations. What we hadn't expected and are thrilled about, is that with these new windows, every room where they were installed feels dramatically larger!

Day 1: One person removed old windows and roughed in the new windows. Day 2: Four person crew secured all the windows and put on cladding. Day 3: Three to four person crew finished sealing and cleaning. A good and experienced crew!

The representative was prompt and responsive during the first meeting. He explained the process and gave me an estimate. Payment choices were discussed and he recommended a company that was, in fact, easy and quick to work with. Installation was not as quick as promised because for whatever reason only one person was available to do the job. We have 3 really large windows, and they were difficult. (13 windows total) On the plus side, the person doing the installing was one of the owners of the company, and was strong, healthy, and professional. He was thoroughly up to the job; it would have been faster if he had had help. I had questions about "working with the windows" after the job was completed, and the original rep came right over and went over the things I needed to know (something he apologised for not having been done earlier). He also went around and checked all the windows to make sure they were exactly as they should be and I wouldn't find anything I couldn't deal with. They were all fine. We could have gotten cheaper windows elsewhere, but these match our house on the outside very well and make the house look actually better than it did. On the inside, they blend with the colors of our rooms and do not stand out. The installation involved working with our previously installed siding and nothing was damaged or looks out of place. The house is noticibly tighter and feels weatherized.

The staff was responsive, timely and straightforward on each contact. The estimate appointment went very well and actually revealed options we had not considered that were excellent and cost-effective. The order was fulfilled on time and the installation was performed in good fashion and the product and workmanship left nothing to be desired.

I contacted Jayson from Air-Vent exteriors to give us an estimate on covering our wooden deck. Jayson was prompt for the appointment and was extremely polite and easy to work with. We also received another estimate from another company but decided to go with Air-Vent Exteriors based on a better price and superior product. The install was completed in a timely manner and the installers cleaned up after they finished the job. My wife and I are enjoying being able to sit outside on our deck and not have to worry about the weather. We would definitely recommend Air-Vent Exteriors to our friends and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

They were very professional and I thought they were a very good company. We did end up going with someone else, as they were expensive. I liked the fact that they were a local company and that he was very clear and specific with what they were going to do.

Our experience with Air Vent Exteriors was a positive one. I called the company for an estimate and the president of the company, Robert Carnes, came out within a few days. He was very helpful in explaining all of the different options for awings. A few days later, I went to the showroom to pick out fabric for our awning. I was inundated by all of the different choices for fabric. Again, Robert was very helpful and helped me to narrow down my choices for fabric and gave me input. The only blip was when our installation was scheduled and no one showed up due to a brief rain shower. We weren't notified of the cancellation or of the next installation date. My husband called the company to complain and Robert came through again and scheduled our installation for the very next day. The installation went smoothly. We are very pleased with our awning. It is beautiful and the quality is excellent. I would recommend Air Vent Exteriors. The company was very nice to deal with, very professional and great customer service.

They did a wonderful job, are very professional, cleaned up well when finished. An excellent job!

The installer did a good job. They did more than I had contracted for without an additional charge. Overall, I'm quite pleased. I did not get competitive quotes.

Very positive experience. Company owner came and gave estimate, both time and cost. Both were followed and met explicitly. Owner followed up both during the work, and after work was completed. Was provided good guarantee on both materials and labor. The fellows who actually did the work were professional and polite, and worked hard to be unobtrusive. They left my home clean every day, even in the midst of all the work.

This is an excellent local company whose reputation is well deserved. They are extremely well organized, very punctual, and the job they did was perfect. I highly recommend them. I like to shop locally. It helps the town and gives smaller companies a chance, not to mention you get ten times better service than you would on a corporate list.
