Twin Air came out immediately and fixed it

Was quick to respond to my call, arrived on time, and informative about my unit/what was done to fix the problem.

Ask for Tom the owner. He was outstanding. Punctual, friendly and only charges for what is needed.

It was done quickly and neatly. A/C works great. Owner and technicians were knowledgeable, and I felt that they were looking out for our wallet as well their bottom line. Nice folks. Only down side, my garden had over-grown the sidewalk, and some of my plants were rolled over when they brought the unit to the house. I should have cleared the way for them. Lesson learned. I would certainly use them again...and will need to when we replace our other unit.

Quality work, quality furnace at a competitive price. Removal and new install went well. Tom and team provided ongoing status reports. Work was completed in a timely manner. We are enjoying a warm home and lower energy costs.I would use this provider again in the future.

Tom and his team were very responsive and professional. They showed up when they said they would and laid out all of our options for us without being pushy or trying to sell us anything we didn't feel like we needed. We decided to first try the cheaper solution for our A/C problem by charging our system. Two weeks later we figured out our 14 year old A/C was useless due to what Tom had suggested two weeks earlier on his first visit which was a leak caused by corrosion. We needed a new A/C and Tom gave us the best price we could find for the Trane he and his team installed. They measured correctly the first time so when they came a few days later to install the new system, they had all of the right parts and the replacement was completed in less than a half-day of work. They were very efficient - no one was sitting around not doing anything - everyone was working the entire time they were there. They cleaned up after themselves and Tom followed up to make sure everything was working. Additionally, Tom walked us through the Trane warranty submission process to make sure we were covered for the next 10 years. Lastly, he subtracted the cost of his initial visit from our final bill. He provided honest and excellent service for an honest price and we could not have asked for anything more! On a somewhat related note, I ran into Tom at a home improvement store three or four months later and he knew my name, remembered exactly what work they had done, asked if everything was working ok and even suggested the correct filters to use for our system. It is nice to know you are not just a number to some people!!

Unprofessional.

I called at 2:30, said they would be able to get here today, but likely after 5pm. He called about 5, said he was about 20min away. Upon arrival asked questions about the problem (unit was cycling off and on / not cooling) and the age of the system. Checked a couple things but after connecting gauges quickly determined the refrigerant was low. Measured the temp at the air return and outside to determine correct pressure level and then added 2 lbs of refrigerant. He explained that there is a leak somewhere and this refill is not a permanent solution, just a short term fix. But he also suggested that if you only have to add refrigerant once a year (or less), you can run for another 7 years for the same cost to find / fix the leak (~$1500). He did NOT try to sell me a new system, or even a maintenance plan. Just pleasantly went about his business, informing me along the way of what was going on. He was in an out in less than 1hr. Pricing was very reasonable I thought - $79 for the visit/diagnostic, minus $18 for the Angie's list discount, plus 2 lbs of refrig at $59/lb. He even explained that last year the price was $79/lb, why he thought that was, and that R-22 is going away at some point with Pureon being the replacement. Nice guy, knew what he was doing, pleasant to deal with, and good (if not better than average) prices. highly recommend

I was pleased with Tom's service. He came out the morning after I contacted him to look at the issue and offer recommendations. He then came back the same day to do the repairs. I am not familiar with what the costs are for these types of service, but his price seemed fair.

Cost was just as quoted during site visit, and when parts arrived. Took about an hour for work to be completed, and have had no problems with the Electrical System since.

Tom (the owner) came recommended to us was outstanding. He was professional, friendly, came in the with lowest bid, gave me honest assessments regarding which features are important/unimportant. He arrived on time and had finished replacing the unit by lunchtime (other estimates varied between one and two days). His workmanship was excellent and he is very knowledgeable and experienced in residential heating/cooling. I unequivocally recommend Tom at Twin Heating and Air.

I called because when I programmed my thermostat for heat this fall nothing happened. Tom came over within an hour and located two problems, one with the way the thermostat was wired, and the second was that the gas wasn't turned on to the furnace. Don't know how that happened, I have a gas stove, gas water heater and gas dryer and all of those worked, but the gas was turned off to the furnace. Even if I'd known that, and how to jumper the thermostat the gas is definitely something I'd rather leave to a professional and Tom is a complete professional. Thanks!, it's been such a cozy weekend!

He did a very good job and was very efficient. He came when he said he would come and stuck to his estimate. He was very professional and I am very satisfied. He went above and beyond and even replaced damaged and missing dampers at no extra charge. He also offered the best warranty out of all the other bids I received - 10 years on the unit, and 2 years on the labor.

The drain was clogged up and there was running water all over my basement so Twin Heating & Air came and cleaned that out and checked the whole system, they took them less than an hour. They did a good job for me.

It was a great experience. The first company said we would need a new unit, so I called Twin Heating. They inspected the unit, found nothing wrong, and were able to restore the air conditioning after working with the thermostat.

I called Tom Friday (8/17) morning regarding our A/C not blowing cold air. Tom was at our house at 3:30 that afternoon.Tom checked it out and found that it was low on refrigerant, added it and now it is blowing cold air.This may seem like a small thing about which to submit a review. However, he came out the same day, was very professional and fixed it without it costing us a fortune, makes it very important to us. This is not the first time I have called Tom and he has fixed something that was not detected or caused by another HVAC company. I called him last year, when we were having major problems with our unit, to get a quote on a new system. As he was looking at our condenser, he noticed that the wires were not tightened down and wanted to tighten them because that can cause them to burn up. Which was exactly what was happening after we bought a service contract from another HVAC company and the technician serviced our unit. We were able to table the purchase of a new system b/c Tom fixed the problem. We have decided to purchase a new system and are purchasing it from Twin Heating and Air primarily because we trust Tom and his work.

Tom, the owner, provided a quote for options regarding replacement of an outside A/C compressor and coil unit to replace an older contractor grade unit with old refrigerant. There was not pressure to replace...this was solely our prerogative as we were after a more efficient unit that was quieter. We recieved three options plus an estimate to re-route some duct work (to solve an airflow to a bedroom). Tom was very easy to communicate with and once we indicated our choice we were scheduled. They arrived on the scheduled day as promised. The work was performed very efficiently and exactly as described with a bill that matched the estimate. We would freely recommend Tom and Twin Heating and Air.

The airconditioner was not working. He responded quickly and was able to resolve it just as fast. In addition to refilling the freeon and getting the air conditioner working, he also checked the other air conditioner to help save another service call. Very professional. Pleasure to deal with

These guys are great, and I recommend them. They have been doing our 2ce annual inspection to make sure things are running smoothly, and they noticed a crack in the heat exchange. I had a home warranty, so I contacted them, and they sent out some clown that said it was fine, nothing to worry about. I demanded a 3rd opinion, and the next guy they sent out clearly saw the crack. I needed a replacement. Twin replaced the furnace at a price better than that of the 3rd opinion guy. Also, they have gone out of their way to help me diagnose some HVAC issues we have had at a rental property out of state.

Got here on time. He and one other tech did all the work. They were punctual and professional and finished before noon. They took out the old a/c and heater and replaced the system with a new, energy efficient model.

Service was professional; Twin Heating & Air is well experienced. He arrived on time; took care to remove his shoes in my house. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing throughout the visit. He also made some recommendations for improved home maintenance of our system.

We got service the same day we called which was a nice surprise. We called in the morning (9am ish?) and he came by around 4pm. Our ac unit was blowing out air it just wasn't cold air. He was here about an hour. He replaced our capacitor. The bill was $79 for the service call and $118 for the materials so a total of $197. In looking up the cost of a capacitor, I found prices around $20-30. So not sure why it cost $118. Next time I'll ask more questions and be more informed. Oh well.
