I was at work when the job was done. When I returned home that evening I took my little flashlight and peeked into .the crawl space. It looked wonderful and I swear I can smell and feel the difference already....Great people to work with. I especially enjoyed meeting Eli when he came to my home and crawled under the house and gave me the affordable estimate. He's a real gentleman Very honest people......that's so important. .
Description of Work: Triangle Reconstruction totally removed old insulation and plastic from my crawl space and put in all new! Taking away all the old materials too.

The company was always willing to work on my schedule even if that meant postponing the start for several weeks. Once scheduled, they came on time and performed the work. They (1) removed the old vapor barrier (2) removed debris from beneath the house and hauled everything away (3) laid a new vapor barrier (4) installed new vents (5) rehung sagging insulation and wires, and more. The estimate was in line with others I got for the same work. Afterward, they took pictures to show how everything looked now. They found a small HVAC problem and pointed it out to me so I could have it taken care of. All in all a very good experience.
Description of Work: Rob Ayscue gave me an estimate for some crawlspace work I wanted done. He was punctual, articulate, and honest about the work he would perform. He based his estimate on what I was thinking of doing and adjusted it when I chose not to do some of what was discussed.

Contractor came out and provided a new estimate based on their calculation of floor space which made the overall job much more expensive than budgeted for and which made them less competitive on price than another company that can do the same job for much less.

I purchased an Angie's list deal for a vapor barrier install for 500 sf ft @ $167. The difference in the cost is for the extra space under the home. The vapor barrier that was in place was in bad shape, ~25 yrs old and only at about 70% coverage for the home I recently moved into. I did an initial in-person meeting with the company after the Angie's list deal was purchased and before the work started. We talked about the known issues contributing to the high moisture content under the home and what difference the new moisture barrier would make. The company rep mentioned dehumidifiers, but did not try to up-sale me (which I really appreciated) and we settled on the new moisture barrier for now and possible work in the future if levels did not drop. I found their knowledge in the field to be very through and appreciated the focus on the scope I was asking them to perform. The work was then scheduled about two weeks out from the initial meeting. I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the work, I have been under the home multiple times since the install to work on unrelated fixes to the home. The barrier is laid down properly in all the spaces and has been tacked down for any overlap areas. Over the past couple of weeks there is already a noticable difference in the humidity levels in the home. I would definitely recommend this company for crawl space work; they are a very professional, fairly priced and are specialist in their line of work.
Description of Work: Installed 6mil vapor barrier with 100% coverage in crawl space and removed old barrier and any debris. Approx. 1150 sq feet of coverage under home.

The gentleman arrived when he said he would and went under the house to take pictures and then showed them to me on his computer. We talked about different options that we could do and we decided to have him lay the waterproofing plastic under the rest of the house for an additional fee that was very reasonable. He did not have everything he needed to do this with him, so he went to Lowes and picked up what he needed and came back to finish the job, removing all the original waterproofing and laying the new plastic. He also took care of getting rid of the old plastic.
Description of Work: The deal was for laying waterproofing plastic to 500 square feet under the house and evaluation of the condition under the house for $149.00. We opted to have him do this for an additional 550 square feet for an additional $269.00.

I was surprised at the amount of the additional cost to complete the job, however the area to be covered was 1.5 times larger and in fairness I did not look too closely at the limited amount of coverage included in the Angie promotion. The job they did was thorough and professional and a good value for what I paid. I had to chase them slightly to get a complete receipt for service. The important thing is that they are professional and when you contract with them I am confident they will do a good job.

Rob came to inspect what's need to be done first. He presented all options and cost break down to us with professionalism. We ended up choosing installation of vapor barrier for our crawl space. Overall his crew did very good job. I'm very happy about the service provided by Rob and his crew. During post work inspection, one item was accidentally left unfinished by his crew. When I communicated this with Rob, he immediately offered credit to me which was very much appreciated.

Mr. Ayscue is a man of his word. After finishing his work this summer he stated that he warranted his work for one year, parts and labor. Just recently I had problems with my humidifier and pump. Mr. Ayscue came back to my home, and replaced and installed humidifier and pump. He shows up when he says he will and ON TIME. Though I commented on his previous work (which was an A), I believe this warrants another praise for this company!
Description of Work: Call back service. Over summer, Mr. Ayscue moistureproofed and sealed crawlspace, installed humidifier and pump. Had to return to service both humidifier and pump.

I originally called Triangle Reconstruction because my exterminator told me that the moisture content under my house was too high. I thought I might need a new vapor barrier. The first time they came I was told that the vapor barrier was fine - that it had been pulled back in some areas where the air conditioner was being worked on, but was otherwise in good condition. They told me the moisture was coming from the fact that the air conditioner had a line that was clogged and was therefore leaking. I then got an air conditioning person to come and fix that. I called Triangle Reconstruction back because they had indicated that some of the insulation had fallen down and about 200 sq feet needed replacing. They said it would be $400.00. I told them to go ahead and do the job. Eli, who works for Triangle Reconstruction came today and after going under my house and checking everything out he said that nothing further needed to be done. That indeed the insulation did not need to be replaced. He fixed the insulation that was just sagging with time and did not charge me anything. He saved me $400.00. Eli said he called Rob on the phone and told him it did not need to be done and Rob said "then don't do it." Extremely honest and informative. I am very pleased.

Rob's team did a great job. The came in on time, provided excellent input, did a great job and worked with me on the price. They will follow-up in a few weeks to ensure that the dehumidifier is operating appropriately and I am getting the desired results. Their electrician Matt was also able to handle, for a very reasonable charge, some issues that I had with my landscaping lights.
Description of Work: In addition to providing service through their Big Deal (putting down vapor barrier and taking away debris) they installed a dehumidifier and sealed off vents to reduce moisture build up.

The whole process was very smooth. He showed up when he said he would, and was easy to reach and responsive, from start to finish.
Description of Work: Rob took his time to meet with me, examine the crawlspace, and write a proposal. He and his staff were punctual and respectful. He did not offer services I didn't need, and gave me great cost-cutting suggestions to handle some of the issues I had questions about. I have not found a better price for the service he provided. And he did an excellent job. After the work was done, he inspected it thoroughly, crawling all the way to the back of the crawlspace where there is not much room to move, just to make sure it was done right. If you are looking to seal your crawlspace, I would recommend him.

Drew came out to give me a quote before I bought their Big Deal. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient with all of my questions. He gave me a quote for a bunch of things and told me that I could pick whatever I wanted done. No pressure or anything. I called back a few days later and spoke with Rob who scheduled an appointment and sent me an updated quote with the things I wanted done. The day of the appointment, his subcontractors came out and performed the work. They didn't knock on my door or anything. They just started working promptly and quietly @ 9am and left a couple hours later. I'm not saying it was a bad thing, but I just wish I didn't wake up early knowing that they didn't need to talk to me or anything. I would have slept in. haha Rob dropped by a couple hours later without calling to make sure I was there (fortunately I was) and perfunctorily inspected the work. It took him literally 2 minutes to check it. He was also a pleasant guy and we chatted for a few minutes after payment. I may use them again in the future as I also need insulation in my attic. No pressure, no lies, great website, very straightforward, good price. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Rob and the guys at Triangle Reconstruction were excellent! I purchased an Angie's deal that put me in touch with them, and then also added piping for a dehumidifier to correct some moisture and dirt smells that I had. They did exactly what they said they would do and for the exact price quoted. They were prompt and very professional. I will call them again for any future needs and can recommend them to anyone looking for similar needs.

After purchasing this deal on vapor barriers, Robert promptly contacted me to do the work. They looked at the crawlspace and gave us an estimate. They did the work right after we agreed on the price for the work involved. They cleaned out the debris, removed the old vapor barrier and installed a new vapor barrier (6mil). They even hauled away the debris (an old door!). We were very impressed by their promptness and how fast they worked. I'd highly recommend them.

I understand that for 149.00 I got the plastic sheeting and an installer. My only concern at present is that there is no anchoring, no tape or anything to keep the plastic from shifting if another repairman has to go under my house and crawl on that plastic to repair the well or something. If I can get my bravery on, I'll see if I can duct tape it in some places.
Description of Work: Vapor barrier was installed. A sheet of thick plastic was spread out on the ground in my crawlspace and custom cut to fit around the AC, water pump and posts under the house. All debris from previous construction was removed and disposed of by Triangle Reconstruction. I purchased the BIG Deal for 149.00. I had no plastic on bare ground under my house and my new hardwoods were cupping, also a cedar closet downstairs was always damp and winter clothes ruined in there. A rep from Triangle Reconstruction called me and came out with an installer about 2 weeks after the purchase. Once under the house, the rep discovered an AC leak and water ponding up from the leak. I would have to get that repaired before the vapor barrier could be installed or the water would collect on the plastic. Also, he talked to me about the moisture in my crawlspace and provided information about encapsulation, sealing the vents, installing a commercial grade dehumidifier and fungus or mold removal. I received an email estimate for encapsulation and other options that night. Once my AC company repaired the leak, Mr Ayscue, the owner of Triangle Reconstruction came out to clarify some questions I had about the estimates and he went into the crawlspace and looked around for himself. He recommended the vapor barrier only at this time. We scheduled the installation for today and the whole team came out in the morning, he introduced me to the installer and left the installer to do his work. Everything was done well, as far as I could see. ( I didn't go under my house, but peeked in with a flashlight.) The installer reviewed the usual time frame before I would notice any difference and offered to come back in a month to recheck the moisture level. I was very happy with the entire experience and would recommend Triangle Reconstruction for this service.

It was perfect and they did a great job for us. We bought the deal because we knew we needed work under the house. They went under the house and said the same thing as the inspector said when we bought the house, which made us feel confident that what they were telling us was indeed true. They had a cancellation and were able to complete all the work in one afternoon. They also recommended a locally made dehumidifier because it was the most reliable and best on the market.

Work was completed in under 4 hours (1100 sq ft). Very friendly and professional. Had to come back the next day as water was not draining out of the crawl space and was puddling on the floor. Just needed to level the pump for the dehumidifier. Witin 24 hours the "smell" in our bedroom is improved. They will come back in a month to make sure all is well.
