Triangle Reconstruction was awesome. From the beginning to the end of the job, they were professional, knowledgeable, thorough, polite, punctual, and hard-working. Our crawl space was humid, and unbeknownst to us, we had two black snakes in residence. The difference in air quality inside our house has been enormous. Our A/C comes on less than 1/4 as often. Our air feels more comfortable (drier?) and there are no musty smells wafting up. They installed a very effective dehumidifier in the space and closed off all exterior openings. We haven't seen any creepy crawlies in our kitchen since they closed all the gaps between crawl space and house. This installation has made a big difference in how our house feels.

The company rep explained their product and additional add ons that we might consider. Answered all our questions. Also was knowledgeable concerning building codes that resulted in us adding a door to the inside crawl space. Installation of the incapsulation and door was professionally done and a quality assurance inspection was made at the end of the service.

They did a great job! The job was completed when they said it would be completed. The guys answered all my questions. There was no mess for me to clean up when they finished which is a big plus for me. I honestly cannot remember how much it cost us to do the job but it was very reasonable.
Description of Work: Triangle reconstruction completed an encapsulation on the crawl space for us. It looks beautiful. The entire crawl space is covered, taped and the opening for the foundation drain is obvious.

I could not be happier with the service I received from Triangle Reconstruction! We had a serious mold problem in our crawl space. I received quotes from several contractors. Triangle Reconstruction was the most reasonable and straight forward. Many of the others tried to prey on our fears by trying to sell us overpriced remediation solutions we did simply did not need for the space we have. Not Triangle Reconstruction. They gave us a straight forward solution for a reasonable price, they did great work, and are going to help us monitor the situation to decide what if any additional work may be needed now that the space is clean and we can better assess what the real cause of the issues were. Very happy and would definitely recommend!

The installers did not do what was described to me. They did not seal around the walls or the columns, only put down a few spikes and did not thoroughly tape down the 10 mil plastic sheeting, as promised. I called and the managers came out, saw what I described and sent out a crew three times to eventually make it right. The first three crews (of the four) did not seem to be very well trained. The last crew, which the managers said was their most experienced, did finally do a descent job sealing around the walls, columns, and installing more spikes and tape.

Drew arrived early and did a solid inspection of the crawl space. The foundation was found to be solid. He did recommend in the spring possibly a humidifier to help with moisture and wood expansion. Will definitely add Triangle Reconstruction to my list for any future work in my crawl space.

My wife and I purchased our home (ranch 1495 sq', built in 1958) and realized it needed a lot of foundation work due to years of moisture damage. This included replacement of the main girder, 41 joists, and mold remediation. While we were at it, we let Triangle Reconstruction guide us through why encapsulation is the preferred method for eliminating our crawlspace moisture issues. So let's break down the score: Overall = A - This will be explained as I go through the other metrics Price = B - Triangle Reconstruction was competitive. They were not the cheapest, and no where close to being the most expensive. This was a $30,000 job. It was one I have never done, and hope to never do again. One of their workers even took me on a tour of the crawlspace explaining the foundation repair, the French drains, the sump pump. I was able to see how much work they did, and because of that, I felt I found a company that priced things fairly. Quality = A Work was done as expected in a reasonable amount of time. The job was permitted and the town inspector passed the project without issue. The inspector mentioned that his house is encapsulated and the work, both the foundation and encapsulation were done well. There were some minor items that I noticed, and Triangle Reconstruction was able to come back onsite an address. They worked with our schedule and completed everything to our satisfaction. Responsiveness/Communication = A The great thing is that for our project there were two people looking working with us, Drew and Rob. When we had a question and needed an immediate or quick response, it is best to pick up the phone. My wife and I were able to reach Drew or Rob without issue. We worked with Drew early on, he was our first point of contact, so we never felt uncomfortable picking up the phone an calling him. He insisted we call him with any questions. Once we met Rob, that same level of comfort was established. I mostly emailed with Rob (it was a little slower i.e. not immediate response, but more than acceptable. However, getting him on the phone was never an issue. I add that our culture's expectation to texts and emails is immediate, and those expectations should be tempered. It is important to understand that Triangle Reconstruction provides numerous avenues to contact them, and my wife and I never had an issue. So they respond to emails, to phone calls, and their crew shows up and works when they are scheduled. Scheduling with Triangle Reconstruction was relatively easy and they worked with us, and we with them. Punctuality = A They arrived in the morning, at a reasonable time (not too early), and were usually working when we got home. They did not work too late, which was comforting as I like to settle down after a day of work. I found this showed respect for our time and our home life. This was not the stereotypical experience of a contractor working like a college student goes to class. They were efficient and ultimately effective. Professionalism = A Drew - very knowledgeable, willing to follow-up and check in Rob - very knowledgeable as well, understanding, willing to take the time to come onsite and answer questions, address concerns. I felt like they were both available and genuinely cared. The crew - super nice, and respectful. I think it went well. I am skeptical of contractors, mechanics, anyone that can easily get over on me. It is important to be an informed consumer. It is important to ask questions of your contractor, and be involved in the process. Triangle Reconstruction allows this. I would hire again with hesitation. I am currently monitoring our crawlspace with humidity sensors and Rob is helping us tweak the settings as we wrap up the project. I think Rob, Drew and crew have a good thing going, and I wish them best. Update 9/19/2017 - I use AcuRite humidity sensors and noticed I had an area that was a little high, slightly above 60%. Triangle Reconstruction came back onsite, repositioned the dehumidifier and now things have improved. Rob had no issue making sure the appropriate humidity level was maintained and consistent throughout our crawlspace.

They initially came out and performed the mold treatment, which needed to be initially applied. They then followed up with the new vapor barrier, overlapping all joints, making it more comfortable to crawl into this crawl space. I recommend the to a neighbor who was interested in a crawl space dehumidifier.
Description of Work: I had the 20 year old vapor barrier replaced which really didn't cover the crawl space floor. They came out and gave me several options, in regards to the vapor barrier material thickness. I chose the one of the thinner thicknesses but also choose a mold treatment because a had a water heater problem which yielded some water damage in the crawl space.

We made appointment with this company for Friday at 4pm at our rental home to give us a quote for several items that need repair before we sell this home. We waited until 4:30 and contractor never showed up nor did he call to say he would be running late. We have still not received a call from him to reschedule.

I am not able to inspect the crawl space due to physical limitations. Triangle Reconstruction installed the insulation and vapor barrier. However, as one of the crews exited the the crawl space. When the second crew came to perform the second task, they noticed a broken water line. We had to cut the water off for them to complete their task. In the mean time we tried to contact Triangle Reconstruction with no response. As a result we were forced to contact an after hours plumber to repair the break. Later we were able to contact Triangle Reconstruction and they agreed to reimburse me for some expenses. We have not since heard from them since.

Adding the insulation into the attic was good and pretty straight forward. Unfortunately towards the end of the job, part of the power went out in the house? I tried a few things but am not very experienced and wasn't able to restore power. Rob ended up coming out to our house after 5pm on a Friday to see if he could fix the issue. When he couldn't, he arranged for an electrician to come out early the next morning. Turns out the cause was a loose wire :( Adding the insulation to the attic was a job that was performed quick;y and professionally. But the after care, communication and the willingness to help resolve our electrical issue was outstanding! Would definitely recommend

The representatives from this company were extremely professional and I found them forthright and easy to work with. I appreciated that both individuals (one came to measure and quote while another performed the services) were willing to answer questions and explain every detail. The information that they shared helped me feel at ease about my crawlspace and my purchase. I would also add that neither of them tried to sell me anything I didn't need. They were honest about the condition of my property and I appreciated that. I would not hesitate to hire them again- this was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor.

We had a wet crawl space. I was very happy with their work. They were just honest and everything looks great. They were on time. I think their prices were okay because it is very expensive to do that stuff done. I think this was a pretty fair pricing from what I could tell from the others I got. It looks very nice and doesn't even smell down there anymore.

Team of 2 from Triangle Reconstruction arrived a few minutes early, and went right to work. They removed the old plastic in the crawl space, and installed new. Looks like a great job. I also asked them to look around while they were under the house to verify a capped gas line that was recently done (verified), and look for any gaps where neighbor's cigarette smell could get in, which they did. Very courteous and professional, and would hire again.
