Robert scheduled a team to blow insulation into the attic on the 27th. They arrived several hours later than scheduled due to some delay in an earlier project that day, but they still finished that afternoon. Robert inspected the project on the 28th and said it was completed. I'm disabled and unable to personally inspect the work myself, but Robert seems trustworthy. He also took photos before and after to show us the work that was done. Robert is very professional, his estmates seem right on target, and the final cost for the project was exactly what he said it would be. We had an attic insulation big deal and a Duke energy credit so that was a savings for us. Robert also gave us an attic seal for no charge. We've enjoyed working with Robert and we'll contact him for more work in the future if the need arises.
Description of Work: On August 13th Robert Ayscue gave us an estimate for a french drain in the crawl space and also for insulation to be blown into the attic. We had the crawl space done on the 20th and we enjoyed working with Robert so we asked him to schedule the attic insulaton project for us.

After initial issues with quality, proper work detail and non-certified plumber to fix main water line broken during the job, the owner then had a good plumber come and fix the main water line properly at no cost to us. The owner promised he would make things right and he did even though it took a few visits. My initial review was when we had some early issues and I was upset but the owner came through and fixed everything that he said he would. Great response to several issues and reached a satisfactory ending to the project.

Robert was very professional. He explained the problems he found and his suggested solution. He took pictures and sent us a detailed plan and estimate for what he was going to do. The work was scheduled promptly. He called us on the morning of the work to see if his crew was here and to let us know when he would be here to inspect. The team dug a ditch, laid gravel and pipe, and covered the pipe with more gravel and dirt. They also sealed the concrete crack and even added an insulation panel for an area under the porch at no extra charge. They completed the french drain on 8/20/2014, as they had planned and for the exact cost of $900 that was quoted on the estimate. We are happy with their work and would hire them again. In fact, we found out that they also do attic insulation and we plan to have them do that for us next.
Description of Work: On August 8th we bought a Big Deal for $49 for a basement waterproofing inspection and preventive water leakage plan. Robert did the inspection and presented us with a plan that included installing a french drain in the basement and also sealing a large crack in the concrete outside that was allowing a lot of water runoff into the basement. He gave us a detailed plan for the work with an estimate of $900. We scheduled the work for 8/20/2014.

They were fantastic. Rob Ayscue and his team did terrific work and I would highly recommend them. They were really good with working on my schedule and how I wanted to pay for the service. There was no pressure and they let me make the decisions. He was really truth worthy. He took before and after pictures of everything so I could see the difference. He was the sweetest guy to work with.
Description of Work: I purchased the big deal for $167 for Crawl Space Vapor Barrier Installation and Moisture Analysis. They had found some areas were not insulated correctly so they put in insulation where it needed it. They also re-did the windows in the basement.

Overall, we were very pleased with the results of the project. Rob from Triangle Reconstruction was very friendly and honest with us about the job and the cost of the job. We consulted a few companies to put in french drains in our crawlspace and seal a few minor cracks in our foundation and decided to go with triangle reconstruction since they were both reasonably priced and since Rob discussed with us the most simple and cost effective solution that would do the job without pressuring us into more expensive projects. Rob was very good about responding to my emails and answering my questions. The project did take a bit longer than expected, the crew that came out initially did not have all the supplies they needed then had to come back an additional day to finish a job that was supposed to only take one day. It was only a minor frustration though, the work they did looks great. They even sealed up a few extra cracks in our foundation without charging us any more. Since they put in the french drains we have had several heavy down pours and our crawlspace remains dry where there were accumulated puddles beforehand. Rob also contacted me to come out and go over the crew's work to see that it was done to his standards. He also gave us a 1 year warranty for the project. I would recommend triangle reconstruction and would use them again for future projects.

Met with the company's install team crew chief for the scheduled appointment on June 27th. After doing some measuring he informed me that the cost to complete the project to my crawl space was much more than I expected or wanted to pay. I explained that I was not aware there would any addition cost. He told me I could a refund for the Big Deal I paid for.

Purchased coupon for services on Living Social website, and then called company to make appointment for estimate of job. Met with Rob Ayscue (Owner of the company) and job was quoted on 11Jun14 for $300. Had a pleasant conversation and Rob seemed very knowledgeable. I requested Operating Procedure for job, and was emailed copy next day. Project was scheduled for 18Jun14. Owner of company (Rob Ayscue) arrived to perform work as discussed at 7:45 AM on date specified. Shortly after arrival, Rob abandoned jobsite without word (8:45 AM) - leaving tools, materials, and clothing strewn around as well as left door to crawlspace wide opened with children around posing safety risk. I closed door, picked up supplies and when I called to question what happened he simply explained he was going to get a drink. He returned shortly and upon completion of job at 11:00 AM, I requested photo documentation for work completed, which was promised, which he failed to produce. He then asked me to simply authorize charges on a cell phone and promised a receipt being sent at a later time. When no receipt arrived, I contacted him on 25Jun14, and an electronic receipt was promised. Receipt arrived later that day stating charge of $718.45. Upon inspection of work completed found tools and trash left in the yard as well as under the house. Worst of all upon further examination, found a sloppy installation of material including major gaps, jagged edges, and minimal overlap preventing complete coverage. The job even appears a lack of double layer at crawl space door as previously sold as a major benefit. Called Rob on 26Jun14, I addressed these items and conveyed my concerns over quality of job performed. His reaction was to apologize profusely and offer the excuse that he was a terrible installer. He admitted that he himself frequently performs substandard workmanship and is prone to leaving items at a job site. Offering to send a more qualified person to redo the installation from scratch, or refund the bulk of the charges. He pleaded for me to allow his company another opportunity to complete the job correctly. I was hesitant, but requested a corrected receipt for services performed while I pondered my options. When the requested documentation failed to arrive, I contacted my bank to investigate the charges from his company only to discover I was charged $400 by his company. One of these issues would be bothersome, but together they constitute a pattern of fraudulent behavior. I called Rob on 2Jul14 to insist that I would prefer I refund as I would have to hire another company to repair and possibly redo everything he did. I was unable to reach him directly and was only able to leave a voice message. A few days later, I received an email stating I was not entitled to a refund, and that because he traveled out of his way from Apex, I would have to accept his decision. This company lacks integrity and has proven through hostile emails they have no intention of honoring the original agreement. Upon my initial meeting with Rob, I requested genuine integrity as I was looking for a company that would do what they promise while offering a quality job at a reasonable price. I am disappointed the owner of the company tarnishes the company reputation through shabby workmanship, incorrect billing, and lack of moral direction. . Any disappointment that I felt has metastasized into disgust as they have proven not only unable to follow up on their commitments, but also making false statements regarding our interactions to excuse their transgressions. Opened complaints with credit card company as well as filed with Better Business Bureau. BUYER BEWARE!

Rob did an EXCELLENT job from the start. After getting a number of quotes I felt the most comfortable with Rob and his prices were reasonable. Rob spent time giving me a number of options and after a few weeks of follow up he was still willing to spend time on the phone with me explaining the process (even though I had not committed to his company yet). That really went a long way in my opinion. Rob also had a slight pricing error and he ended up honoring the error and did the work at COST to make up for the error included in the original quote. I really wasn't expecting this so it once again increased my trust with Rob. Finally, Rob also held off building a support beam because they found termites. This actually reduced the price of his work but he did what was in the best interest of me and even took pictures of the damage and sent them to me. Again I felt even more comfortable and glad I went with my decision to use Triangle Reconstruction. I really couldn't be happier with the level of service and quality at a reasonable "trustworthy" price. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Triangle Reconstruction, Eli and Rob, seem to be experts in this arena and in their work as general contractors. Their consultation and recommendations have been very helpful. Their crew worked non-stop in terribly hot dark circumstances. Both Eli and Rob have provided very helpful information throughout the job and in follow-up. They honor their commitment, are concerned with making sure the job is complete, all elements in tact, and clean when finished. Overall very positive experience. My neignbors will be calling these experts soon. Thank you.

We were very pleased with the work Triangle Reconstruction did for us. We live in a very old house that has had moisture issues and occasional water problems since we've been there. The owner, Rob Ayscue, was very responsive and very understanding of us as we tried to figure out the best way to deal with our crawl space. I talked with other vendors but in the end came back to Rob because he had a good plan and was not pushy. His price was good, not the cheapest, but I thought the most value for the work. It was a big job that took longer than either one of us expected, mainly because of all the debris that had to be removed first. Things I particularly liked: - Rob's attitude of customer service - Experience knowing what to do with old house situations - Do not pay until the job is done to everyone's satisfaction - One year warranty on all work and materials I would recommend them to a friend.

Triangle Reconstruction is an outstanding company. two weeks ago I contacted their company and the owner(Rob), and his second in command(Eli), came over and inspected my crawlspace to give me a recommendation of what needed to be done. Previously, I had had four other companies come to inspect my crawlspace, and I expected a similar report, which Eli didn't give me. He found numerous things that the other company didn't find such as walls that was wet due to water, a leaking toilet due to a broken seal, vent issues, and documented this with pictures of the problems. Additionally, he recommended that I get gutters due to water issues that were in the area that the crawlspace walls were wet(which they didn't do,) but it would correct my problems. That also showed me what they used on the vapor barriers that other companies didn't. Based on their recommendations, I decided to have them do the work, and I wasn't disappointed. Eli did an unbelievable job in doing the work, and spend numerous hours insuring that the work was perfect, and up to my expectations.

This was a very bad experience. I hired the guys on an Angie's List special to do what they advertised they could do. It took them from end of November to March 3rd to do a poor job on something that seems to me to be fairly simple.. They repeatedly came unprepared to do the job and with the wrong material to do the job and once the job was "DONE" the result was very poor. None of the doors operates smoothly now because IMHO these guys do not know how to do this kind of work correctly. It seemed as if they were learning how do this by trial and error. I have waited 3 months to write this review to cool off from the experience. I do not recommend these guys for this type of work. They were seemingly nice guys otherwise.

I am sorry that it took so long. It was not a good project for either one of us. Because of the age of the doors, the parts are not readily available here in town. I had to order them online and wait 3-5 weeks for delivery. There ended up being different size thresholds on the doors and I had to re-order the different sizes and I had to order parts again. It is odd to have different size thresholds in the same home but in hindsight I should not have assumed they were all the same size. We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee - I will come out and adjust any door that is sticking for you.
