Secur-Tek's lead security technician David was very professional, extremely thorough, and very helpful throughout the installation process. David spent a great deal of time making sure that I fully understood the operational aspects of my new security system and software capabilities. Upon completion Marc Larin wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my system, software, and monitoring package. I assured him that everything was great and completely met my expectations. The entire process from the initial contact, quotation, installation, and follow up completion conversation was done with the ultimate professionalism that you would expect from a first class security company.

I selected all the equipment and they installed it for me. They told me they would love to have me as a security customer as well, but I said I would deal with that later. When the time came I chose a different company and then I found out that they had put a special code lock on my system so no other company could program it. Now they can't remotely access it either so they want to charge me to come out and manually change it. That's a dirty practice. I hope it gets resolved next week. I've already been warned by my new company that they may try to Default my entire system as well, which means the new company will have to charge me to configure it again.

Ken Henke has been excellent to work with from the start of deciding the work we wanted to have done. He's been very up front with pros and cons of various alternatives and has always been open to providing solutions to reduce costs where possible. This is a new home we are building. Wiring completed and the rest is in process as the home is currently under construction.

I contracted with secur-tek to provide and install a security system; provide the receiver and speakers for surround sound; and to mount my flat screen TV above the fireplace. My home was under construction so they had to get approval from the builder to install the necessary wiring before the wallboard was installed. They identified several electrical and media outlets that had to be relocated to support the installation. The house had been prewired for generic installation of a security system but secur-tek suggested several modifications that I readily agreed to and these modifications were made without additional charge. When the house was finished they completed installation of the equipment and mounted the TV. They adjusted the surround sound for optimum effect, and programmed the receiver remote. They installed the security system sensors and keypads and tested the system. They had to return later, when I finally got television and telephone service, to complete the equipment setup and to hook up the security system to the monitoring system. This entire process, drawn out as it was, was performed in a most professional manner.
