RDL Electric

Everything was great as this is the second time I used them. They were on time, very professional and cleaned up before they left. RDL is my "go to" electrician!

I am very big on first impressions and my initial chat with RDL was excellent. This, coupled with an excellent recommendation from one of my friends here in Apex, pointed me in the right direction. That is, to use RDL Electric.They arrived promptly and did the work that was required (installing new lighting in the garage and moving a ceiling fan.) I found the job to be excellent. Cleaned up very nicely when they were finished. We spoke about another job dealing with outside receptacles and other items that will be dealt with in the beginning of 2020. I highly recommend RDL!

Excellent!!! Took them to find the short (as it would any person/company looking for this problem). They were able to look at the situation logically and trace back the wiring (RDL had never been in my house before so it took them sometime to figure this problem out). Having worked around electrical machinery before, I knew that this problem had to be repaired ASAP. It took them just a few minutes to repair the problem once it was identified. RDL Electric work was professional and I will keep their number!!!

Went very well. Diagnosed another problem and returned to repair an attic fan motor.

They repaired the pump outlet, bringing it up to code and improved it by adding a water tight connection box. Dedicated and professional worker.

Perfectly. Right away the electrician started wittleing down what the problem could be and within 5 minutes had the problem solved. He then cleaned up the mess I had made and was done. Robert suggested he'd probably be able to come over on Sunday. He contacted me Sunday morning and was there within 5 minutes. One fixture was filled with water. In less than 30 minutes, both fixtures had been replaced (they were 20 years old, and I'd planned to have them upgraded). He also inspected the service disconnect for the water heater and added additional waterproofing.

Highest recommendation. Bob and Robert are always on time, fair, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Bob and Robert were quick, helpful, and answered all my questions. Fixed my outlet and several light fixtures. Already plan to use them again for future lighting needs.

I found a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet in the garage had failed. When I pulled it out to replace it, I discovered it was burned to the point of deformation. This was after we thought our refrigerator in the adjacent kitchen had started to fail because of a burning electric smell. Being concerned there might be a systemic problem in the house wiring, I immediately called RDL Electric, at about 7 in the evening. Robert answered, not an after hours voice mail. He quickly talked me through the symptoms, calming my concerns about danger to house and lives. We found a time that worked well for me for the next afternoon for the service call. He arrived promptly on time. In quick order and with his easy going manner, he confirmed his hypothesis from the night before. He took the time to check over the kitchen wiring, eliminating any doubts about its integrity. I had the new GFI fixture on hand, he was happy to use it. There was no attempt to push me to pay for parts from his inventory. RDL Electric continues to be my go to company for home electrical problems and projects.

Bob arrived on time as said he would the day after Christmas. He quickly went to work going room to room taking apart each outlet, and switch looking for the probable short. He was thorough and easy going. After about 1.5 hours he found a ground wire causing the short in a bathroom switch. Fixed it and reset the electrical box. He also went into the attic to view wires which may have been compromised by rodent activity. He did a good job and was easy to work with. I would not hesitate to call him for any required electrical work.

The best thing about it was that it was really quick. They came in fairly quickly after I gave them a call. They were able to do the job the same day. I had no issues, so from a quality standpoint it was perfect. There were no problems and there was no cleanup required so everything looked good and so far everything is functioning fine a year later.

Bob is always on time and does great work. He is specific to the details of construction doesn't have a problem doing it the right way. He isn't the cheapest person in town, but he is worth every penny.
