+ 2 moreThis was easily the most painless home fix I've ever had to go through. The quality of their work was stellar, their professionalism was top of the line, and they truly seem to care. I was so impressed with the very first person to walk through our door, all the way up to the boss. Justin handled my restoration, and I never had to wonder what the next step was. He called me every day to let me know when they'd be out to check on the drying process, and when we could expect the work to be done. They were always accurate with their timelines, too, clearly understanding how important it is to people to have the work done in a timely manner, and working hard to stick by their timelines. Bill was amazing as a project manager. He was fast and efficient in getting people to the job, and more importantly, in getting back to me. He never left me hanging, and as a slight control freak, I appreciated that almost as much as the excellent job they did!! Barbie, who works in the office, was knowledgeable and also very quick to get back to me. Paperwork and quotes were always sent over on time, and questions were answered as thoroughly as she could, always quick to point me back to Bill rather than throw some answer at me just to satisfy me. I can't say enough how happy I am with this company!

+ -1 moreI would not recommend this company. They did not perform the services requested for over 3 months and there was very poor (almost non-existent) communication on their end. In July of 2016 we had a lightening strike our house in Holly Springs. Damage went all the way from the outside to the inside of the room on the third floor of the house. I contacted Professional Restoration Services and they promised to perform the work in a timely manner. This involved repair to drywall, window replacement, siding repair and painting inside and out. It is now early October and none of the work has been completed. In addition, I had to call, text and email them repeatedly each time hearing that they are working on it. Apparently there was an issue getting a window that would replace the damaged one. However, it was only after numerous phone calls and pressure that I learned this. They came out again in early September to look assess the situation one more time and promised that they would contact me the next day. I never heard from them again. I waited another month. Finally, I called the owner to tell him that I am dropping their service and going with someone else as well as providing this online review. There is no excuse for treating the customer with this little respect. They have lost my business.

Because of water damage we had to have 1100 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring replaced. In addition, we were under a time crunch to get the work done. Kevin was extremely helpful in working to meet our needs. The process involved moving furniture out, tearing out and carting the old flooring away, choosing and installing new flooring, cleaning up and returning the furniture to its original position. Kevin's team was diligent and trustworthy. Everything was completed within 2 days of our original estimate. We were out of town during part of the install and Kevin kept us apprised of the progress through texts and photos. The cleaning crew was magnificent. If we have one criticism, it would be that tracking the costs was confusing at times. We asked for upgrades from the original flooring, so expected to pay more than what the insurance company gave us. But the bills came in three installments, and we were not totally sure what we were paying for at a given time. The final cost, however, turned out to be exactly what we agreed to before hand. But it would have been helpful to have a clearer understanding of the financial process from the beginning. All in all we would not hesitate to recommend PRS to anyone facing a similar project. They really do great work.

We strongly recommend Professional Restoration Services. We returned from vacation to find much of our kitchen hardwood floor ruined by a water leak. The damage required removing and storing all major furniture and appliances and then replacing all hardwood flooring on the first floor. The PRS president, Kevin Reinert, and his project manager, Kevin Folsom, were at our house within a couple of hours of our call and had the drying out process underway promptly. We chose PRS not only because of this promptness but because they have extensive experience with water damage and with insurance claims. The latter proved very important when the insurance adjuster balked at paying the current cost of buying the exact same flooring. Kevin Folsom worked hard to finally convince the adjuster. We are pleased with the final repair job and never had to pay more than our deductible, which PRS had promised would be the case. Communication with PRS was excellent throughout the process. We always were told exactly when things would be done. A few small issues did arise when PRS workers or subcontractors accidentally broke or scratched things. These items were repaired or replaced no questions asked. Such a repair job is not a pleasant thing to go through, but it certainly helps to have a restoration company that you can trust and that goes out of its way to work closely with you.

Can't say enough about PRS ! From owner Kevin Reinert , all the trades to Project Manager Bill Daley the restoration process was seamless from beginning to end ! First , Kevin explained the entire restoration process and worked with our Nationwide agent and our mortgage company to get all the necessary paperwork completed . Next , the trades were fantastic : highly skilled , polite and easy to work with . Next , without Bill I would have been lost ! Bill was my go to guy , answered all my questions whether by phone , text or E mail . Being a detailed guy , Bill worked with me on every phase of the restoration process - even down to a little scratch on the newly refinished hardwood floors ! I never want to go through another ice storm or other disaster but if it happens , PRS is the company I will call ! Thanks to the entire PRS team !

+ 2 moreFrom the very first meeting we had with Professional Restoration Services to the final walk thru, my wife and I were very pleased with the company and the finished product. We initially contacted the company due to realizing we had a leak with our upstairs Master shower that had started to leak thru our downstairs ceiling. Initially we met with Kevin (Owner) who did an outstanding job of explaining what was going on with our shower and what all would be required to resolve the issue correctly. Once we agreed on Professional Restoration Services doing the work we then met with Bill (Project Manager) and he went over the timeline of the project from beginning to end. The communication provided by Bill during the project was outstanding and he always made sure my wife and I were informed of what was going on. Bill routinely came by our house to check on progress thru the different stages of the project. All service providers managed by Professional Restoration Services were very considerate of our house and cleaned up after themselves daily. Upon completion of our bathroom my wife and I could not have been more pleased and we will definitely be using Professional Restoration Services for our next home project.

The bib had given out inside the wall and water was slowly making its way down to the slab (home with walkout basement. Kevin was prompt and knew exactly how to proceed. Repairs were performed thoroughly and quickly. First quality finishing-it would be nearly impossible to detect the repaired areas. Will call on PRS if needed in the future.

Description of Work: Professional Restoration Services was one of the contractors on our insurance company's list for fixing the damage from a leak. They did a great job of arriving quickly and setting up heaters/dehumidifiers and spraying to prevent mold. Unfortunately, the sub contractors used were not so impressive. Our counter top had to be removed and in the process our walls, cabinets, and counter top were damaged. I completely understand it's hard to remove a large slab of granite, so I would have expected more than two men to help with the task. I feel they were understaffed for the job which resulted in damage to the other surfaces. Demolition and construction comes with lots of mess, and this was the first contractor that made little to no effort to clean up at the end of the day. PVC piping was left on the floor repeatedly and our dogs chewed on it. Thankfully, it didn't cause them any problem. Glass shards, nails, screws, and splintered pieces of wood were left around on the floor and cabinets/counters. We had to clean daily to keep ourselves and our kids safe. There was no effort to contain or clean up the drywall dust, nothing was covered during the repairs except the remaining three base cabinets during tile backsplash removal and even then there were tile pieces and drywall debris in two of those cabinets. The time billed to our insurance company for clean up was a couple of guys who wiped cabinet faces for about 30 minutes. When we questioned the clean up, one explanation of where the time went was to come back at our request to clean the thick coat of drywall dust on the floor dust that had settled after the first cleaning. This would be okay if there had been a first cleaning or had the area been covered as was billed, but the thick dust layer (more than any you would get for secondary settling) was in a band that 2 to 3 feet from the repaired walls. With this heavy layer and proximity to the repaired walls, it was obvious it had not been covered nor cleaned before our request. Additionally, we were informed by PSR that they spent over an hour cleaning the caulk from the kitchen sink. Maybe we are wrong, but if they had to take the sink out wouldn't they have cleaned the old caulk and then install new, as opposed to leaving a very rough bead of caulk that took an hour to fix, as part of the sink removal and installation process - why is this billed as cleanup. We repeatedly brought issues to the PRS representative during this process, and he did come out to the house at our request on several occasions. He did have the crews come back a couple of times, but overall offered excuses about how we couldn't expect perfection. The new tile work has uneven grout lines and the grout job itself is not great, there is caulk smeared on the countertop, the baseboard wasn't cut to the right length and our cabinets have scratches they didn't have before. In addition to the sub-par work, the cost was out of line with what we would have paid other contractors as verified by our independent estimates from other licensed contractors. The job is done and house back together, but it is not of the quality that was promised. We didn't expect perfection, just quality work without excuses for a fair price.

They arrived at our home within hours of us contacting them and set up drying fans right away. The employees were very courteous and professional and they made us a top priority. They replaced our bathroom cabinet which had been warped by water damage and replaced our carpet in our hallway which was also damaged by water after drying out our sub floor and tile floor in our bathroom. They also had to hook up a new sink along with the new cabinet for our bathroom. Our job was completed in a timely fashion and they never made any inconveniences for us while we continued to reside in our home. I would recommend this company to anyone who has suffered from a water damage loss or any other type of restoration loss.
Description of Work: Professional Restoration Services helped us with a water loss we had in one of our bathrooms. Our faucet was left on and overflowed onto our floor for quite a few hours. Our cabinet/sink needed to be replaced as well as some of our carpet and sub-floor.
