Very friendly efficient service guys. I was very please with their work. The only negative was that they were late due to a personal emergency.

Excellent. He put in the ground rods and grounded the system from the meter. He mad recommendations on future upgrade plans in the kitchen regarding a double oven. Very patient with explaining the possibilities. we also asked about a whole house surge suppressor and he said he would email us with the info.

Very well. Had a small mixup on getting the quote via email but it was quickly resolved. Mike and crew are knowledgeable and efficient.

All the electric work went really well. They didn't get the phone connection and ethernet connection working after the first time but were really prompt when we told them that the connection wasn't working. Mike made sure that he came and fixed the problem himself.

I called the office on a Saturday and left a message stating that it is an emergency. I then got a call back within 20 minutes. We talked about the situation and he made some recommendation and gave me instructions, and I was able to resolve the problem over the phone. He was very responsive to my needs as he returned my phone call although he was on a vacation. He was patient and was eager to help me resolve the problem. He also told me that if the problem does not get resolved, I can call him back and he would send a technician. I was very satisfied with his service.

Great! Mike Carrieri came to do the quote. He knows the Code (2009 version) to the tee. He advised me of what issues I might want to clarify with the Cary Town Inspectors in advance. The proposal arrived in a short while, it was just what I had asked for, and the price was very reasonable. I took Mike's advice and contacted the Town of Cary and it paid off. When the permit was to be issued, they raised a variety of last minute obstacles. I gave my notes to Mike and the matter became a non-issue. The actual work was done by Matt and his colleague. They did a superb job, keeping to Mike's exact plans. I know from my research that the work is to Code with every i dotted and t crossed. It was also done with optimal materials and it even looks good!

They were great. From speaking to Mike to schedule and get a quote, to Matt and his assistant coming to perform all the work, it was a great experience. Not only did Matt do excellent work, but he and his assistant did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. I was very pleased and would definitely use them again!

I had a kitchen track light that had a history of blowing out light bulbs. Recently, it would trip the breaker, pop and flash a blue electrical light when I flipped the switch on. The owner of the company responded to my call. He took the light fixture down, and showed me what the problem was. He said the fixture needed to be replaced. I have wanted recessed lighting for years. I had asked another electrician (previously) about installing recessed lighting, and he had told me that I would have to tear the ceiling out. The owner of Powerhouse Electric told me that they could install recessed lighting with a minimum of damage. Within 3 days, his technicians installed the new recessed lighting. They were efficient, professional, and personable. I will definitely call Powerhouse Electrical in the future.

Matt and Robbie were fantastic. My flight home the previous evening was canceled, so I wasn't at home at 8am as I had originally indicated. But when I called and rescheduled to 10:30, Powerhouse adjusted with no complaints. Matt and Robbie completed the work with minimal disruption to me. They also made suggestions to my requests, improving the placement of lighting fixtures. Matt also came back after hours to fix a problem we discovered.

Power to half of my house went down at about 3 in the morning (we were awakened when the UPS alarms went off). I called Powerhouse Electric first thing in the morning and the electrician arrived promptly. He diagnosed the problem and advised me to call the power company. (If I had called them first to begin with, I would have saved a $75 service call charge... live and learn.) Then, when the power company showed up, the technician confirmed the diagnosis, but told me that I had a broken insulator in the power meter socket. I call Powerhouse Electric back, and the electrician returned. He took the broken socket back to his shop, and found a replacement insulator. If he hadn't been able to replace just the insulator, I would have had to replace the whole box, and that would have been very expensive. He returned to my home promptly and installed the new insulator. I mentioned Angie's List and he took $10 off of the final price.

I called the company and got an over the phone quote. I had all my fans installed the next week. The electrician was very polite and professional. I thought the price was very reasonable.

The electrician came and checked the fixture and wiring, and he decided he it was the regulator (or whatever the component was). He ran to a couple of home improvement places in the area, but could not find the specific one needed. He called the office and found out their supplier had one in stock. He told them to hold it, and then asked if he could send some one the next day. The next day as scheduled, another electrician came with the necessary part, and fixed the fixture.

Our smoke alarm was chirping and it was 20' high. We had no ladder to get that high. We have used this company in the past so we called them again. They removed the alarm, put a painted blank in the ceiling and moved it to a lower area that we could reach and still be in code.

They were extremely neat. I was concerned about my bathroom because I just finished the stenciled walls. I am explained that and they were extremely careful in the bathroom. No dings, dents, scratches after they finished - marvelous! They were able to make suggestions on moving the light switch in the hallway and that too came out perfectly.

We were having trouble with GFI switches blowing in our practically new home and were concerned that the house did not have ample electrical service for the electronics that we had installed. Matt made a service call the day after we requested service. He checked on each and every concern we had and either told it was okay and safe or took care of the problem. We were very pleased.

We had all electrical reworked including moving the oven, fridge, microwave, rewired and installed all new cans, dimmers, and under counter lighting. Matt provided superb service and the price was VERY competitive. Both Mike and Matt were very responsive and great to work with. They even managed to use our old stove cable saving us lots of money.

They were professional and knowledgeable. The work was done well, and they made sure I was satisfied. I will use them again.

I removed the original fluorescent light fixture in the kitchen to replace it with a chandelier. Upon removal of the original fixture, I realized there was no electrical box installed in the ceiling and my wife's family was coming into town the next day. I began the work myself, but was not comfortable adding the electrical box because the wires were ran next to an existing stud. I called Powerhouse and they had an electrician at my house the following afternoon. The electrician was very prompt and professional. He worked quickly and efficiently, completing the job in less than an hour. He also looked around the house, providing a ball park on how much it would cost to install recessed lighting as well as adding a light to our pantry. The original estimate was $110 - $170, based on how long it would take to fix the problem. The total cost of the work was $110 because he had a much better idea of how to install the electrical box and chandelier than I had. Because of his approach, I was able to return the $45 worth of brackets and other items to the home supply store that were no longer needed. Powerhouse was a great organization to work with: very professional, prompt and easy to work with. They definitely came through for me in a pinch and didn't cost me an arm and a leg to do so.

What luck! A cancellation allowed Matt and Mark to come within 30 minutes of my returned call. I accepted the estimate, as it seemed very competitive among the 3 I had received, and they were able to do the work RIGHT THEN. Matthew's advice was very helpful, the guys were pleasant and conscientious of shoe removal on a muddy day, and they worked diligently. When an unfortunate snag was hit, I was fairly compensated for the small wall repair that resulted. The final tab came in within the range that was estimated.

Got several quotes to remove overhead florescent lighting; install recessed lighting; replace chandelier in breakfast area. PowerHouse techs came to home and generated quote the next day. Prices were in line with expectations but PowerHouse seemed more professional than others. Final price came in exactly as expected plus they added an additional recessed light in secondary location at no extra charge. Workmen cleaned up all mess and made sure we were happy with job.

This company obviously does very nice work because since moving into our new home, we have not had any electrical difficulties. Our outlets are all installed to our satisfaction, and our lighting and fans work beautifully. We feel like satisfied customers. This company was subbed out under our general contractor who built our home, so I can not comment on what they may charge for their services.

I would say that this company did a terrific job. Everything works well still to this date and I would recommend them to other people. They are friendly and make sure to say with in a great budget. I am pleased with their service.

I was very pleased with their work. In fact, after this project I had them do some electrical work for my bathrooms as well. They are really a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, on time, and do quality work. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would tell anyone to go ahead and hire them. I felt we had plenty of contact with them and they had good communication as well. The electrical work turned out just fine. I could not ask for more. My contractor hired and paid them himself.

They are a reliable and honest company. I was happy with the service provided by Powerhouse. They had no problem making the change in the switches. The worker was here on time for the service. I would recommend them to others. The service was under warranty since it was Powerhouse that originally did the electrical work in the home.
