Description of Work: Removed old and hung new wallpaper in small half bath.

Description of Work: Kat was a pleasure to work with. The price was the best of three companies I got on-site quotes from. Going into the project I felt great about it and had confidence. However the quality of the finished product is not worth the friendliness and savings. The job took triple the time estimated which caused great personal inconvenience (To her credit Kat did not raise the price despite the delays). The wallpaper overlaps at around half the seems which raises one piece of paper exposing the backing which is a contrasting color which looks terrible. Kat did not have any way to fix this - I'm just stuck with white stripes on a dark paper pattern. Also there is glue on the surface of around 50% of the square footage which is impossible to get off. Kat tried to get the glue off at her last visit but to no avail. She soaked the paper in hot water and it made a terrible mess on the floor but it did not come off. And this was the glue that Kat added, not the glue that came on the paper. Kat said that the wallpaper (which I purchased myself) was a particularly difficult type which is why it was so hard for her to hang. That may be true but that's why I hired a professional, and she had full knowledge of the paper before sizing the job and giving me a quote. In summary, if your paper is an "easy" type I think Kat would do a great job, but if you have a challenging paperhanging job I would recommend going elsewhere.

Description of Work: Kat is just great. She's so sweet and professional and knows a ton about her trade. Her prices are good, and she's a pleasure to work with.
