Appointment was made for some time between 3 and 5 pm. Electrician did not arrive until close to 6 pm. Homeowner called several times to get estimated time of arrival. At 3:30 electrician said he had another job before ours and it would be 5 pm before he could get to our job. At 5:15 homeowner called again and was told he was just finishing up and would be another 45 minutes. When electrician arrived he explained that he was told initially the two jobs were in Raleigh NC when they were actually in Garner and Henderson. That was why he was late. When he arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem with the ceiling fixture. I was able to have my wife pick up a switch from the local hardware store which allowed electrician to continue addressing other electrical issues. He did not have the correct switch in his vehicle. Electrician next replace lightbulb in high ceiling with no problem. He looked at the project of installing two lamps in front of garage. He provided estimate o four hours or $400. He ended up redirecting vent on our microwave oven. Leslie was pleasant and competent. His lack of punctuality and poor scheduling was my only concern. Price was very reasonable.

after the holidays I am going to have Ralph and paul back to install some more outlets. Great job, greaty guys.

Very good job. Very professional and thorough. They encountered some unforseen problems routing the wiring, and they solved them all. Also very cordial. I would definitely hire them again.

I wish that everyone that I call for work on our home were as good and professional as Ralph. A good call and he has a good recommendation.

We bought an outdated townhouse and every light fixture needed to be replaced as well as adding a ceiling fan on a sloped, 16 foot high ceiling. Ralph and his assistant tackled each task including crawling through some very small and tricky slanted ceiling/roof lines. Everything looks wonderful and works great. We are thrilled. Thanks Ralph!

Very well. The estimiate was done the day before and the work was completed today. My wife is extremely happy with the new light fixtures. He did a great job. We would use Ralph and Light it up Electric again. He also knows great Italian restaurants in the triangle area.

Ralph and Paul did an excellent job. They came out last week and gave me an estimate. Then came out this week and did the work for the amount quoted. They were great to work with and very professional and friendly. I couldn't be more pleased. Their work has exceeded my (already high) expectations. I will definitely hire them again.

I I called Ralph to ask for his help grounding my gas line to the main ground of the house as a neighbor had recommended him. He said 'no problem' and suggested 8/2 as the date. I said ok and asked for a ballpark price. He said between $100 and $300 depending on the location of the gas meter and electrical meter. When he showed up, he inspected the situation, then went for supplies. (he needed to know how much of the copper wire was needed and then purchased it) He completed the job in about 2 hours and was happy to show me the work and explain it. For the job I had, he did an excellent job and I would use him again.

The job went very quickly and it was apparent that these two men knew their way around household electrical devices. They charged me a fee that I thought was too low; they did a professional job and cleaned up after the job was done. By the way, they arrived early for the scheduled job so I did not have to wait around. I intend to use them again for future household electrical projects.
