+ -1 moreLaura drew a great professional quality design for our property. Her knowledge of plants and trees is very extensive, and she had great advice regarding existing plants. Also she has numerous suggestions for other resources for materials and extra landscaping labor to complete the plans.

+ -1 moreWe needed help designing the landscaping for our 1 acre yard. Laura was so helpful! She came to our home, listened to our wants and needs and then came up with a beautiful design with the list of plants needed and other helpful tools. I would definitely use her services again.

+ -1 moreI was very happy with them. Laura Kiper was the landscape designer. She came and talked to us about the property and talked about what we liked. She talked to us about what kind of objectives we had and wanted our landscaping to look like. Then she created a design. We met with her again and we talked about it. Then we finalized it.

+ -1 more2 week later we received the attached drawing. She didn't provide a computer generated drawing and overall I believe the work was lacking for the price. I have purchased landscape drawings for two previous houses and the were color coded, had detailed drawings of planter beds, elevations, etc. the drawing provided by Laura had plant names, was in theory to scale but overall relatively amateurish in my assessment.
Description of Work: Provided a landscape drawing for pool area of backyard. This included the pool placement, deck placement and an area around a hot tube. Laura was referred by Rising Sun Pools who stated other customers had used her services previously. I was also given a favorable reference by a co-worker who was pleased with her work. We contacted Laura and gave her an overview of what we wanted and she agreed to do the job but required a $40 fee for visiting our house because of its location. She came at the appointment time with her son and measured the property. Her options were that she could hand draw right then or take it to her studio and do a more detailed drawing. we chose the more detailed drawing option. She then let us know the plan would be ready in approximately 2 week. We provided an enlarged property plot, drawing of septic field and a property plot with the house location. We told her we would like a computer generated drawing which she said would be an extra charge.

Kiper Landscape Designs offers the following services: Independent Landscape Designer. Draw plans to scale to include all outdoor living features (decks, patios, screen porches, pools, pool houses, outdoor lighting...) along with details of plantings of trees, shrubs, flowers and lawns. Work with client on advising how to break the installation of projects into phases. Clients can also use me when needed to advice landscape installers during the implementation. Some clients just need care instructions for existing plants or drainage advice..
I do not do the actual installation of the plants only the design
