Description of Work: One Massive Pine tree that was hit by lightning over a year ago and two large sweet gums. Safety was huge concern of mine. I witnessed J&D taking down a neighbor's tree and how meticulous they were with balancing the crane and other prep work, so got an estimate from them. | |Estimate was on par with other estimates. It included debris removal and stump grinding, as well as running a pulley 40 feet up another pine tree for a XMAS decoration. | |Large Crane truck arrived 2 hours early then rest of the crew shows up on time. Crew was very efficient - each with their own job. All three trees down in under 2 hours. | |To my surprise, besides the stumps, you couldn't tell they were there. |Street was swept, logs were gone, lawn was raked. No evidence was left behind. | |While there, they also asked if I wanted anything else done, so I asked they take out a 12 foot Magnolia tree. This was done in about 3 minutes, all with a smile. | |Stump grinding was a day later as I recall. | |NO doubt who I will call next time for tree work. |Unconditionally recommend J&D!

Description of Work: J and D called to arrange an appointment, showed up for the appointment, and provided a quote in a timely manner. The quote was significantly higher and did not provide as many services as the provider we decided to go with.

Description of Work: The tree removal was quick and ahead of schedule. The problems started with repeated calls for the estimated cost, unnecessary damage to the lawn from tree removal equipment and continued for weeks trying to get J&D to inspect and repair the damaged lawn. Eventually the damage was repaired, but we not be using J&D in the future.

 + -1 moreThe service during the estimate was why I hired them. They offered suggestions and explained different options, and they have very reasonable prices. They have an amazing operation - and whether they need the big boom truck or simply cut from the ground - they do excellent work. You couldnt even find marks in the grass or yard from the trees/equipment being there. They cleaned up and went the extra mile for a job well done. During the project there were slight delays (which were excusable), and a bit of miscommunication - but once they were made aware of the issue, not just one person, but all the crew apologized for the misunderstanding, and were right on top of things. All the people were extremely professional, great to work with, and I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Take down and remove 40 trees throughout the yard, surrounding the house; including debris removal and clean up.

 + -1 moreTHIS COMPANY IS FANTASTIC AND HAVE VERY REASONABLE PRICES FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY DO. THEY ARE PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO DO THIS WORK AND MAKE SURE WE WERE SATISFIED. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP EVERYTHING.
