Grand Openings Garage Door

It went great. The company has a great website displaying the product options and styles available which allowed me to narrow down what i wanted before i contacted them, so i could ask better questions. When i called, Mike was wonderful, informative, and pleasant. He came out to the house quickly to measure and give me his assessment as well as additional information about insulation R-values. I ended up getting insulated carriage-style doors which i love. They don't actually open on hinges, but they look like they do. They were a little more than i expected them to be, but i think the look is worth it. I guess my style wasn't a common style because they weren't in stock; It took about 3 weeks once we ordered for the installation to happen. Installation took two-thirds of a day, by a second person who was also very professional and obviously knowledgeable and qualified. They replaced all the old metal tracks and springs with more modern (and safer) hardware. I did not get a garage door opener but they offer those as well, very inexpensive.

The person who did the work was on time, friendly, and very helpful. I had purchased a deal through Angie's List and he did not try to upsell me. I expected that I might need new motors but he told me they were fine and could be fixed, rather than replaced, in the future. He did not push me to replace the spring but I did not want to wait until it no longer worked. I really appreciated his honesty and the fact that he was not pushing for me to spend more money. He did the job quickly and I was pleased with the results.

We could not have asked for better service! I found Grand Openings Garage Door (among other companies) on Angie's list, read the reviews, and decided to call them. Mike, the owner, called me back very quickly, spoke at length with me about the issue, and arranged for a service call the very next day (today)! He gave me a definitive quote, which seemed reasonable. The technician was on time and completed the spring replacement efficiently.

As soon as the technician got out of the car he started in on how I needed a new garage door. It quickly became obvious he was out to get as much money out of the job as possible. He was however very proficient in what he was doing... quick and precise. Ended up paying 30.00 for a metal brace to secure the door. Got someone who wanted to get what was needed done to fix the spring. Other options were made available, but it wasn't the strong timeshare sales tactics.

Matt was very knowledgeable, was able to diagnose the main problem very quickly and was courteous and prompt. He also made a few minor repairs (replacing screws, etc) on the door when he replaced the door opener. Highly recommend this service and will hire them again.

Exceptional Service, Garage door has been loud and squeaky for the past 10 years, not anymore,sounds like a brand new door! and it is extremely quiet!

That turned out fine, they came on time, they did what they were suppose to do, they were in and out, it was great. It was very easy, did what they were suppose to do, cleaned up and left.

Very well the technician was very polite and knowledgeable.

When the order was placed, I was told that it would take at least 2-3 weeks to get the doors we wanted; however, I had the doors within one and a half weeks, and they were just installed last Thursday, december 15th. The installer did an outstanding job installing them, and was able to do this within 3 1/2 hours.

They did a fantastic job. The doors look great, work great and that headache is gone. They were prompt and professional and cleaned up all the debris from uninstalling old doors. Not a nail left anywhere. Great company!!!

Very Well. He greased the chain & rails and replaced the rollers. He checked the motor and said it was still strong. Very punctual and polite.

They were awesome and exceeded my expectations!! I called about 4:00PM and they said that they couldn't come until 6:30PM or a little later which was fine. Then, about 15 minutes after I had called (4:15), Matt called me and said that he had just finished a job and was near our address. He came about 10 minutes later and quickly replaced the springs and had the door working. The easiest repair experience I've ever had.

Great service and reasonable price!

Matt was amazing! He was able to get everything adjusted and fixed without my needing to buy any replacement parts. I was concerned about the weather seals as they weren't sitting flush, but he was able to adjust the door in the track so everything was nice and sealed up. He also caught that several bolts were loose and this posed a danger, which he immediately fixed. He did good work, explained himself, gave me maintenance tips, and was a pleasant guy. Would definitely have him back if anything needs to be done with the doors. Top notch.

Perfect. Arrived on time, handled all the work professionally, and even too time to re-program the in-vehicle transmitters to the new opener.

We needed a strut replaced and a tune up on our 23 year old garage door. We were able to get an appointment quickly. Matt installed the strut and tuned up the door in under an hour at a very reasonable price. It is much quieter and operates smoothly. We will certainly call him again.

Matt was very professional and thorough and responsive to our specific concerns. The added exterior garage door trim gaskets were necessary to properly weatherproof our doors and to seal outside entry of crawling insects. We will definitely use Grand Openings Garage Door company as needed in the future.

The whole experience went well. The owner came out on a Saturday to give us a quote and we felt confident enough to give him the job that same day. The door took a little longer to come in that he originally thought, but that was no big deal. The installer did a good job and cleaned up everything when done. We had an issue the next day with the opener, but the owner responded right away to our call and came out himself that same day and fixed it. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the door itself as well as the opener.

Worker arrived at scheduled time, gave quick estimate and completed work promptly. Very happy with the service and quality of service provided. Will use them again for my garage door needs.
