Mike was very prompt - he responded to my email the next day... when we agreed on a date and time to perform the service he was right on time. From the minute he showed up to the time he left, he was working and focused on the mechanics of the garage door. If I never need service in the future, I will be sure to call him as well as recommending him to my friends and neighbors. He also did not try to upsell or upcharge for the work we contracted to do.

They were prompt and on time and generally great to work with. I found them on Angie's List because they were the deal of the day. I will use them in the future if needed.

I am overall very happy with the service provided by Mike. I purchased a coupon from Angie's list for 99$. There was no problem scheduling a time convenient for both of us. In addition to the tune-up work and roller replacement, Mike was very skilled in diagnosing and fixing the safety mechanism issue I was having. Further he did not charge extra for the additional work he had to do. He also adjusted the springs for now but suggested that in the future I may be better off replacing the old spring system to the new one. He inspected the gear and said it was fine and just lubricated it. My door was very noisy and after the tune-up, roller replacement, adjustment of springs, tightening of hinges I must say there was a clear difference in the noise level. Now everything is very smooth, thank you Mike.

After reviewing five different options Mike provided to us, we decided on a new door and opener combination which not only offered the latest in door and opener technology, but gave our attached garage a face-lift with a new stylish door and trim which absolutely complements our home. We chose the newest Chamberlain LiftMaster Elite series door opener with a side motor unit and a beautiful new insulated maintenance free (no paint) door. Because the Wayne Dalton door was no longer operational, Mike came out two days later on a Sunday and performed the overhaul. He completely removed the old door, opener and track system, and installed a complete new system. We couldn't be happier with Mike's professional and meticulous installation techniques. The door and opener fits perfectly and is so quiet, you can no longer hear the door open and close from the overhead bedroom. The LiftMaster opener system come with many extras like an automatic deadbolt lock when the door closes and a digital thermometer and clock on the touch-pad. It also comes with a motion sensing light that comes on in the garage whether you open the door or not. Mike also installed a Carriage style trim option on the door which adds character to the door. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with Grand Opening's top notch service, pricing and professionalism. Mike completed the job from time of contact to completion within four days and out priced all of the competition. We couldn't be happier and would MOST DEFINITELY recommend Mike and Grand Openings to anyone in need of help with a new system installation or just a garage door tune-up.

I purchased the $99.00 garage door tuneup that was featured here on 3/13/12 and contacted Mike immediately afterwards. By the next morning he was out at my house doing some long neglected maintenance. He was on time, complete in his work, and wanted to make sure that I was 100% satisfied. There were no "gotcha" charges, and he even showed me the best way to do it myself next time. Grand Openings is well worth the time, and they were a genuine pleasure to work with.

Mike from Grand Openings was great. He quickly repaired the garage door opener with some spare parts he had. Gave me a great deal, saving over $200 had I replaced the unit. On his way out offered to adjust the springs on both of my doors. I highly recommend Grand Openings and will call them again if I need any adjustments on my garage doors.

My garage door spring broke in the middle of the night so when I went to leave for work early the next morning my garage door would NOT open. I called Mike at Grand Openings Garage Door and he was at my house with in the hour. He not only fixed the spring for my door but he also serviced the door and it has never been more quiet.
