Mike was very knowleable and professional. He spent a lot of time making sure the doors were perfectly adjusted. He was on time and charged the quoted price. We desperately needed to replace our garage door, it was literally coming apart at the joints and a window was missing. While it seemed the UPS man loved this "feature" of our door, it wasn't something I was inclined to keep. We requested several estimates, from all "A" rated Angie's List companies. The other 2 companies, have yet to respond, but I am almost glad that they didn't. Mike responded within a few hours of my email request via Angie's List. He also sent us the site to the garage door manufacturer where we were able to upload a current picture of our house and get a general idea as to what the house would look like with each door. Having a traditional colonial style house, that we have been slowly remodeling over the past 5 years, we wanted to keep the integrity of the house & stick with the style. We were able to get exactly what we wanted, and a better door than what we could have gotten at someplace like Lowe's or Home Depot (and I didn't have to install it!) Mike's quote was reasonable and he could get the job done quickly, and he was very helpful in explaining the differences between the doors and accommodating. He came for a quote on Friday and was able to install the door by the following Tuesday. We are extremely happy with the way it looks, and Mike was great all around. I'd HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

I was having problems with my garage door. It was making a terrible noise upon opening and closing. The rollers were not rolling smoothly and had an area that made a bump and I was concerned the roller would bounce right off the track.I spoke with Mike Ropelewski and made an appointment for repairs using my Angie's List referral.Mike arrived as scheduled and was so very nice and professional. He explained what was needed to do the repair and proceeded to do the work. The work was accomplished in about an hour and my garage door now just hums when opened or closed. It is a MAJOR improvement.I couldn't be happier with the work and would recommend Mike for any garage door repair you may need.

Great experience. Mike was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Her changed out the rollers, lubricated, and adjusted with an obvious high level of knowledge and skill. He was courteous and explained what he was doing and what to look out for in the future. I now have a reliable and capable garage door company. Suggested good options for helping to seal the door, and the pricing is very reasonable. Quote for whole door replacement was also very reasonable - but he did not pressure us in this direction. The garage door tune-up was well worth it! Michael offered a good deal of additional information regarding the garage door which my husband found very helpful. Although the garage door opener is old and will require replacing at some point, it is operating much better now. The new rollers were very much needed.

He was professional and the garage door sounds very new now. He put rubber rollers on it and it works awesome. He was right on time, he was little late, but did let her know by calling her. He did get there and went right to work.

Mike was prompt with scheduling, showing up on time, and in completing the work desired. He didn't try to "pressure sell' more services though did point out a couple things to keep an eye out for down the road. The doors operate quieter and smoother, and I was very pleased with the whole experience. I will recommend him to friends.

The garage door was very loud and jammed from time to time. He came in and inspected the doors and noted the current performance. He changed the rollers and informed me of what was being done and how to maintain. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Michael did an excellent job. He was courteous and professional and explained everything as well as he could to someone (me) who knows nothing about garage doors. He worked diligently to try to correct a noise problem with one of the doors which had been backed in to. He cleaned up well. I will definitely refer him to friends and use his services again.

We purchased the big deal garagedoor tuneup/wheel replacement for our door that hasn't been serviced in at least 6 years. I'm pretty amazed at how much quieter the door is now. Mike worked around my schedule, was responsive, on-time and professional. I hung out in the garage while he did the service to learn about the garage door system. Mike was friendly, explained everything that he did and offered maintenance tips. He did not try to upsell me on other services or products. I appreciate that as our door is older and he could have easily urged me to proactively replace some items and I would not have been the wiser. He seems to be honest at the expense of his pocketbook. When we do eventually need repair or replacement of our garage door, I'll be calling him without hesitation.

Mike showed up on time, presented his business card and explained the work he was going to perform. He was sensitive to the noise level (8:00 am) and inquired if anyone was sleeping. This was a nice gesture; plus he was very friendly, courteous and professional.

The technician arrived promptly, was very courteous & ready to work.There were some minor defects that he pointed out ,but also said that they did not interfere with the door function. There was no pressure or attempt at up-selling. The door appears to be operating more smoothly than before.

Got the Big Deal coupon for garage door tune-up on two garage doors. Mike arrived EXACTLY on time, obviously knew what he was doing and made both roll-up doors feel like they were brand new. I had never done anything to these other than shoot some silicon lube into them once in awhile, and after 10+ years, they were a wreck. He was able to restore them to 100% goodness, feel like new, never have these doors worked so well. Nice guy, chatted a bit, he never stopped working - fast and easy.

Mike was great! I left him a voice mail and he got right back to me to set up an appointment for a garage door tune up. He arrived on time and got right to work. He replaced the rollers, adjusted the tension spring, changed the light bulbs, programmed the built in garage door opener in my car, fixed the sensors that were causing the door to malfunction, and so on.... Bottom line? The garage door opens with the touch of the button, the light works, the remote in my car works, and the screechy squeak I heard throughout the house every time the door was opened is GONE! Mike is a nice guy. He is very respectful and courteous. I am very happy with the job he did and highly recommend him!

My garage door opens and closes with ease?no noise whatsoever. Something was bent and he straightened that out. Both he and the electric company shared about the condition of the house?which helped me. The guy who came out was very friendly?very nice, and was a perfect gentleman.
