.Turns out that Michael is the owner and personally handles Angie's list calls. A family business and he obviously takes great pride in the quality of his work. He could have tried selling me a new garage door opener but was able to fix the problem. Talked to me about the cause of the problem and I actually understood what he said! I do expect to need a new opener in the next few years and fully intend to use them again. Thank you, Michael! Outstanding service. Punctual. Neat. I would recommend to everyone.

Michael was very nice and trustworthy. He came and gave an estimate for repairing our garage door springs and was able to repair 1 of them at that same visit. I was very please that he was able to do it then and also was able to repair it with the new coil system, when others said it couldn't be done because our garage and system is very old. He then scheduled to come back and do the 2nd one within a couple days, and he came as scheduled. Would definitely use him in the future for any repairs or replacements.

He was a really nice guy, and very helpful. He was very thorough and gave me some good advice. I would recommend him.

OWNER/OPERATOR WAS ON TIME. EXPLAINED PROBLEMS. HE OBSERVED THE UP/DOWN OPERATION AND PROCEEDED TO FIX AND ADJUST. PRIOR TO LEAVING HE TOLD ME TO CALL HIM IF PROBLEM RECUURED AND HE WOULD RETURN ON ANO CHARGE BASIS.

Went well. He was on time, inspected the door/rollers and determined what needed to be done, went ahead and resolved the issue.

Good job on installation of new door. Only complaint is that he left behind some screws from the old door scattered around the garage.

It went great,Performed garage door maintenance, aligned, new rollers. We were pleased how much better garage door performed even though it was only 4 years old. Left contact info on a sticker above garage switch in case we had any issues, performed fine since initial adjustment.

Mike was quick to respond to our call, came out immediately to assess the situation, gave us many options, priced things fairly and appropriately, gave suggestions, and listened attentively to what we needed. When we decided on the new operator, he got it installed as quickly as possible and was available for consultation if we had any questions. He's a pleasure to do business with and very professional. In October, we had to have a repair due to an accident, and he came out within 3 hours of our call requesting service and fixed it perfectly.

A lot of home builders don't always have the expertise to install garage doors and openers correctly. They just read the instruction manual and do the best they can. This approach usually results in a door that works at first, but will eventually have problems. Mike did a great job fixing up our door! It works a lot better now...much quieter and smoother operation, no more loud, jittery up and down that the whole neighborhood can hear. He arrived a little late, but compensated by making some adjustments to our other garage door free of charge. He did this without being prompted. Would definitely use Mike again.

Fantastic service. I called Grand Openings after having a bad experience with another vendor who had given a very high quote to replace a broken spring and winder mechanism. Grand Openings was less than 1/2 the price and did more than we asked for, tuning my other doors as well. Terrific service. Very highly recommended.

Michael Ropelewski, owner and operator was exceptional in every way. He was prompt and attentive to the work he was doing. It is obvious that he is committed to providing the best in customer service. He is experienced -- mentioned that his father had been in the garage door business as well. Apple didn't fall too far from the tree. I highly recommend him as your go to person for your next garage door tune up or door replacement.

A part of the garage door was broken when hit by the lawn tractor. I called Grand Openings and Mike responded quickly. He came the next day and replaced the broken part. The door works perfectly. He was very professional and knowledgeable and I would use him again and/or recommend him to people in need of his services.

It went real well during the two hours he's with us. He quoted me over the phone for $175. At end he told me that he did all within the budget plus we are retired people; therefore, I owe him only $130. We did not ask for this discount or adjustment at all. Anyway, he checked the door operations numerous times and then he told us it is all good to go and if there is anything wrong just call him and he will take care of it without charge.

He showed up on time and did a great job even giving pointers on maintenance etc. We would use them again in the future if needed and would recommend them to anyone!

This service was excellent. The guy who came went right to work, repaired our ancient and quirky garage doors, got them to function beautifully. We had lost our remote garage door openers, so he went and got us some new ones and brought them over several days later. He was very friendly, and great to work with!

Got the quote. They showed up on time. Did the job, without any "upsell" chat. Was prompt and made me feel i really got my money's worth.

We were very happy with the service performed. Mike was very friendly. He called at the time of our appointment to inquire about our address. I had forgotten to update our address on Angie's list, which caused him to go to our previous address (30 minutes away). He had every right to reschedule the appointment and to get frustrated, but he did neither. He was very understanding about it. When he arrived, he explained exactly what he would be doing. We were absolutely amazed at how much quieter the door is now. We were also experiencing issues with the door going back up on its own that was related to faulty photosensors. Mike was also able to repair that issue. Even though it wasn't discussed prior to the appointment, he provided and programmed an additional remote for the unit at we considered to be a very reasonable cost. This coupon was a very good deal and we heavily recommend it. We will absolutely be calling Mike if we have any issues with our garage door in the future!

Mike was on time and very thorough with the work performed. We discussed things that were being maintained along with future maintenance vs replacing the door/motor. Mike came across very honest, sincere and trustworthy. He will work with you to maintain the door/motor if maintainable or offer affordable options in replacement. I have had maintenance performed by other Big Deal offerings in the past and I would say that Mike was the most accomodating and knowledgeable of the other companies. Mike went beyond the Big Deal offering to makes some adjustments to the door to accomodate for a slightly bent strut. The knowledge / experience he has was greatly appreciated.
