They answered our call and were at our house within a day to evaluate our situation. They were able to repair the door cost friendly until we get ready to replace the door entirely.

Michael replaced the rollers, adjusted the tension and infrared sensors. Runs like brand new now. Since it is the original 20 year old wooden door he showed me where it was starting to bow, but did not recommend replacing it yet. I greatly appreciated his professionalism and honesty. When it does come time to replace the door, I will certainly give him a call.

Mike was great . I called him about 930 in the evening, right after the spring broke. He asked me when I nned to get the door done so I could leave in the morning. He came on time, fixed it and did a great job explaining everyhting to me. I really can't reccommend him enough. If you need garage door work done just call him.

Very prompt service, very professional and GREAT job! The "Big Deal" I purchased was for tune up and new rollers, but he had to do other things to get my garage door to properly open and close and stop the awful noises. And he didn't charge me extra. He also explained everything clearly and told me what might need repairing in the future, as my unit is old, but was NOT pushy about doing any unnessasary work now. My garage door stopped working on Tuesday, and I called Mike Tuesday late afternoon. We set up an appointment for Thursday at 3pm. During the phone call, Mike walked me through the issue (busted spring) and provided a 101-level walkthrough. He showed up on time, did the work quickly, and the cost was exactly what was quoted over the phone. Done and done. Couldn't have asked for better service.

I would highly recommend this company. We were having intermittent issues with our garage door motors. I sent an email to Grand Openings at about 11PM and Mike responded to me within minutes! Mike came the next day to review the issues. Our garage door motors were about 20 years old and he suggested replacing them since the cost of repairs would continue to grow and it would become increasingly difficult to find old parts. He also recommended adding safety wire to the 4 springs to prevent them from snapping and flying into someone or something. We scheduled the 3 hours of work for the next week to coincide with my husbands work-at-home schedule. Mike was on time and the work was completed in a timely manner.

It went very well; they are good. I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for part of this service. Grand Opening is great; I recommend them to anyone. They service is very personable and they did not do things they did not need to. They gave me options, so I had my choice. The owner of the company did the work and he was fantastic.

One night, without warning, my garage door wouldn't open when I arrived home from work. I consulted Angie's list and Grand Openings had a great rating, so I called Mike at about 8 pm. He called me back right away and within 24 hours the door is working again. Mike was flexible about scheduling, arrived when he said he would, and was very friendly and polite. Excellent work at a fair price.

My garage door had a broken spring. He was in the area when I called and came within thirty minutes. Did a wonderful job and had completed everything within an hour of my calling. I was impressed and would recommend Grand Openings highly.

We'd been thinking about replacing our old wood door (circa 1992) for awhile. When the door spring broke and the car was stuck in the garage we called Michael. He responded to my call immediately and came by that evening after his last appointment to assess and perform a temporary fix until we could get the new door installed. He was professional, timely and the actual cost came in below his estimate. He's the only garage door company we will recommend from here on out.

I contacted Grand Openings via e-mail to setup the appointment. Michael Ropelewski was very responsive and scheduled a convenient time quickly. Our garage door was having trouble closing reliably. It was started to come down and about 1/3rd of the way it would just go back up and blink the light. Mike came on time and got to work. He replaced all the old metal rollers with smooth nylon ones, got everything aligned and running smooth. Our 19yr old door is now nearly silent and operating flawlessly. Mike was great to work with. We'd recommend and work with him again.

It was very positive. The door was in roughshape - very loud squealing and I know I will be needing a new door soon. There was no pressure or scare tactics trying to convince me to buy a new door right now. He gave me the facts, and let me make the decision. I will probably get a new door sometime this summer and I will definately contact Grand Openings Garage Door. Great customer service!

Very professional and everything fixed 1st time. No hassles.

The garage door would not open due to a broken spring. I called Mike on Wednesday afternoon, he asked if it was an emergency, it wasn't, and he offered to come to the house to help me get my car out of the garage until he could do the repair the following morning between 8 and 9. Mike showed up at the house at 8:10 after calling ahead. He replaced both springs as requested. He did not try to upsell me but did point out to me that I would need bearing at some point. Since he was there, I had them replaced. He also showed me how to maintain the door. Great guy, I will recommend him. Thanks Mike.

They came out, said I needed new doors, also fixed openers so they lined up with doors.

The technician did a great job of tuning up my garage door and fixing the screeching sound that occurred each time it opened or closed. When a few of the door bolts loosened several weeks later, the technician returned and fixed the problem without cost to me.

After the job all were corrected and I am so happy. The door makes so much less noise, the sensers are as they should be and the on/ off control is secure on the wall. Excellent service and work! I am a happy customer and would definately use Grand Openings again!

After looking at the trouble with my garage door I realized I needed more than tune-up and roller replacement. I contacted Grand Opening and made them aware of the repair I would need and they encouraged me to contact Angie's List for the refund on the deal and that they would still be able to complete the repairs for me. I was very happy and satisfied with their service. They were very prompt and professional. Their pricing was very reasonable. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Mike offers a great service at a great price. He was prompt to respond to my voicemail, showed up on time, was very friendly, professional and performed the service as promised. He had to do a little more work than was part of the Tune-up deal I purchased but his pricing was more than agreeable. My garage door now operates far smoother and quieter than I could have thought possible given how squeaky and LOUD it was. I'll be using Mike for years to come.
