Grand Openings Garage Door

Broken spring. Called Saturday noon. Voice mail said they would return my call. Still no response as of Monday 7/1. No longer required their services. As a service company, this deserves an F !!!!!!!

Went out of his way to make sure the door was perfect and the reduction in noise was amazing. He did not like the way the builder fixed the track to the wall and secured it in a better manner which should keep the door running smoothly for longer. Fast and on time Called the day before to confirm Called 1 hour before arrival

Mike was very responsive to my calls, showed up on time and explained things thoroughly. He listened to what I wanted and did not try to over-sell me. His work was efficient, thorough, and fairly priced. I would use him again.

Garage door was not operating properly. Purchased Big Deal. Company came out and replaced the old rollers with nylon rollers and adjusted the spring tension. Door works fine now and is quieter than the other garage door that has not been upgraded with nylon rollers. Well worth the price.

Grand Openings Garage Door, LLC are very prompt, very nice and professional. We didn't have to wait a long time to get the service done. It was about the same time we purchased the Big Deal. They did a good job on our door.

He arrived on time, examined what needed to be done and completed the basic job and then went on to do more over and above the deal we had purchased.

Mike came out, looked at our broken system, was able to tell us what was wrong and offered us options for both repair and replacement. He did a great job of explaining the pros and cons of each, without any pressure or feeling of being "sold" on something we didn't necessarily need. He returned today and replaced our system with a new one, and also tightened up and fixed a number of things without charge. He did an outstanding job and we couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend him and plan to use him again whenever needed.

Mike was on time and efficient. He did everything I hired him to, and was a great counsel regarding future options. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Great value!

He adjusted the garage door and put in new rollers and pullies. He made sure that it worked well before he left. It sounds much better than it did before. It closes all the way now.

Provider came on time, talked with me about what would be done, inspected door and stated concerns. Was able to improve return of door by adjusting springs, checked light and motor, and replaced rollers. A very pleasant exchange and transaction.

As this was a tenant situation, I wanted this to be taken care of as quickly as possible (and as conveniently as possible for our tenants)...The first company I called was one I had used before and they offered to come the following week as first available. They had provided good service before but I knew this would be a hardship for the tenants. So, based on the rave reviews on Angieslist...I decided to give Grand Openings a call. I am extremely glad that I did. Not only did I get through directly to Mike himself, but he offered to come on Saturday (no extra charges) to have a look and repair the issue. He made arrangements with the tenants for a time....And, then he showed up on time (or early) and made the necessary repairs as well as an additional small repair to the same hinge on the other side of the door....he only charged the minimum service charge and we made arrangements for payment over the phone. Could not have gone better in terms of solving a problem and making tenants happy! Thanks Mike! So....I definitely will be calling Mke and Grand Openings again in the future if I have problems with my garage doors!

We had them out the repair the rollers since we thought that was the source of a loud noise. It turned out it was a differnt issue causing the noise. They were punctual and professional. We were supposed to get a call back regarding somethign small, but we never heard back.

I was very impressed with the speed and quality of the work and the willingness to accommodate my schedule.

Springs came loose causing garage door to fail to open or close. Shotty previous work from the precision guys, who charged a ton for nothing! Realigned everything and WOW it is quiet again and perfect. Charged half of what the other guys charged and delivered a hundred thousand times better service. I actually got it fixed this time not just put back together! No more looking for a go to garage door company! Really nice guy, too :). Very VERY happy!

Great service and didn't try to oversell us. installed new silicone rollers which were needed.

One of our garage door springs broke, preventing the door from opening more than a half foot or so. This was a big problem since our car was inside! We spoke with Mike shortly after this happened, on Friday afternoon, and originally he didn't think he'd be able to repair it until Sunday. But shortly after we spoke he called back - he'd finished with a job earlier than expected and was able to come by and repair the door only about an hour or two after we called. He was very friendly and worked very quickly.

Installed nylon wheels to help quiet the garage door. Re-aligned sensors, increased height of garage door for car clearance. Braced the garage door opener which helped to quiet the unit. He is great to work with and knows his trade very well. This job went so well, I asked him to come back and insulate the garage door with foam. That job was also inexpensive and has made a difference in how quite the door opens and closes and helped save me money on my utility bills due to the insulation. My garage was a lot hotter in the summer and a lot colder in the winter before he insulated the garage door with foam. You can feel the difference. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Michael responded that evening and we set up the appointment.for 9am one morning. I wanted a morning appointment and Michael accommodated my schedule. My old wooden 18ft garage door was very noisy, with a couple of broken rollers. Michael replaced all the rollers, adjusted the tracks, adjusted the spring and lubricated all necessary parts. He installed several missing screws in the door. Michael spent 1 hour working on the garage door. I was extremely satisfied with the service received and will definitely call Grand Openings Garage Door when I decide to replace the old garage door.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Our garage door became jammed and out of alignment. It prevented us from closing the door and securing our possessions. It was about 3pm on a weekday. I called and the contractor answered the phone. He told me he had a full day on the schedule but would get to us before too late in the evening. I agreed. He kept me informed of what the time frame for his arrival would be. Despite the late hour he was friendly and got straight to work. He let me know the cost up front. He worked dilligently until the door was done...two and a half hours. He really was great and I don't say that often! I would highly recommend.

After seeing the great ratings for Grand Openings, I checked out the company website. Seeing that they did not open for business at the time I was viewing the site, I sent an email inquiring about an estimate. Within 10 minutes, I received a call back for an estimate. Mike arrived on time for the estimate and provided numerous options after examining my garage doors. While my immediate problem was a snapped door cable, I had been considering replacement doors due to their age. I had previously researched new door prices from the local home improvement stores, so I had an idea of the material costs. The price for the doors and installation was comparable to the cost of many of the doors I was considering. Add the great reviews from other customers of Grand Openings, and I hired Mike for the job. We scheduled the install for the following week. The work was completed in the expected time, cleanliness and outstanding working order. We tested the doors and everything worked perfectly. I would highly recommend Grand Openings for any garage door repair or replacement.
