Grand Openings Garage Door

I would highly recommend Grand Openings Garage Door! They were very responsive to my queries through Angie's List and responded promptly to all of my questions. They arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and took the time to understand all of my concerns. They provided a very honest appraisal and did not try to oversell me on anything beyond the previously purchased tune up. I had a problem with one of my sensors and they replaced it for free with one that was available on the truck. I will definitely be using them again when I have an issue with my garage door.

Mike was great. He came out the day before the holiday to look at the job and would have completed it if we didn't need so much work. The job was then scheduled for another day. He was was on time, worked quickly and did a great job! Would definitely have him back when we need any future service.

It went very well. He came at the time agreed upon, serviced the garage door, replaced the rollers and installed the keypad. He was very quick and efficient. And I am very happy with the result! I would certainly hire Grand Openings Garage Door again, and I will!

I saw the high number of positive reviews on Angie's List, so I called Grand Openings in the morning and Mike came out early in the afternoon and fixed the problems - replaced the hinge, re-attached and got rid of the bend in the door panel. He was very nice, and you didn't feel like he was trying to sell you unnecessary services. The door is fixed and opens and closes properly now.

I needed to have my garage door checked out by a knowledgeable professional. When I looked on Angie's list I saw several companies, but Grand Openings Garage Doors stood out to me because it is a local company and a small business, of which I try to use. I purchase the deal they had on Angie's list. Mike immediately contacted me to set up a time. We sync our calendars and he came out yesterday morning. He was on time, right when he said he would be. He immediately saw a couple of things that needed attention that were included in the tune up. He explained what he was going to do and got right to work. You can watch Mike work and know he has done this for years. About 16 years, I think he said. He did all the work the door needed and proceeded to make sure I knew everything he had done and where my future weak points were with the door and system. He did not try to pressure sell me anything that I didn't need. He even greased the spring on my other door at no charge. Mike is a nice guy who is easy to do business with. I was very satisfied with the job he did. I would certainly use Mike again and recommend him to anyone looking for a good garage door repairman.

I called Grand Opening Monday morning... ...Mike was working nearby and arrived that afternoon. He repaired the spring mechanism over the door. He needed parts(the circuit board ) and said he would return in a day or two and Wednesday he replaced the board and readjusted the motor. Works just like new.

Garage door has been operating perfectly since Grand Openings worked on the system...no stalling, or slamming as it closes. I could not be more pleased, and will certainly contact Grand Openings when needed in the future.

Excellent service!! We purchased a maintenance package to have our garage door serviced and rollers replaced. Michael was very quick to contact us and set up appointment. Showed up exactly when he said he would. Explained service that would be performed and got right to work. Our remote keypad no longer worked, so, we had it replaced at a very reasonable cost. All work was done quickly and Michael cleaned up after he was finished. We highly recommend this vendor to others and we will definitely use them again if/when we need our garage door serviced!

I called for service to repair a broken spring and left a message. Mike returned the call in under 10 minutes, and was at my door that same morning. He looked over what needed to be repaired and gave me what I considered a competitive/fair estimate. He completed the work and did a great job. Mike is very prompt, professional, and personable. This is a owner operator small business that is customer service focused. The service was awesome and the price was good. The owner responded to my call quickly was here as he promised. We agreed on the price and what that all included and the install date. He was back at the agreed to time and everything went as stated. I would use this person again.

Called Mike on Saturday because the spring in my garage door broke. Mike came out a couple of hours later as promised and said he could replace both springs. I asked him for a price on a new door. He said that my existing door was still usable and I could get away with replacing the spring. We have been wanting a Carriage door and have made several repairs on the existing door. I did not want to put any more money into the existing door knowing I wanted the Carriage style door. The door I picked was in stock and said he would be there in Monday. He called Monday morning letting me know an approximate time his crew would be there. His crew showed up when Mike promised and finished the job in less than 2 hours and cleaned everything up. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone.

I purchase my house in 1999 which has a small uniqe garage door size. As I understand, the standard garage door widths are 8,9 and 10 feet width. My door measures 7"-0" wide which is clasified as a custom made door. in addition, the door is built out of wood which had dry rotted over time. I had call numerous contractors to provide quotes to replace the door with a metallic material, but as soon as they saw the door they quickly reply that the door is not a standard width and would provide a no quote. I did find one firm to replace the door but at a price of $1400.00. Out of shear bum luck I called Grand Openings Garage Door and Mike answered. I told him that I would like to replace the door and that the door was a unique size. I also told him that I had contacted other firms which said that the door was an odd ball size and that they knew of no one who can help.. Mike, came back with a statement. " if it was built once before, it can be built again. Mike came out the next day, saw the door, took measurements and gave me a quote for $700.00 to install a new metallic door with track, rollers, springs, and a lock. Needless to say, he got the job. Mike did a fantastic job installing the door. He arrived on time, was polite, had all the tools need to get the job done the first time. He answered all question that I had pertaining to the construction and maintenace of the door. He also did not seem to mind as I watched him during the installation. I have given his name and contact number to two additional friends who may be calling him in the future. I will be using him for all my future door issues that may arise of in the future

Our garage door spring broke late last evening. I left an email on Mike's website at 11:30p, hoping to hear back from him the next day (today). In fact, I got a bounce-back email just a little later on, promising contact early the next morning. Mike was as good as his word, first calling, then appearing to do the job. He was done in record time and with no muss or fuss -- this, despite the fact there was no way for any of us to be here to meet him. We left a check, he showed up, did the work, and we're back in business! He replaced the springs, the cables (which had sheared off when the spring broke), and lubed the runners, wheels, and entire door assembly. Add our family to the chorus of neighbors who love Mike and his work.

Mike was great. He returned calls quickly and was very punctual. Very pleasant to work with also. I knew I needed a new spring, as the old one broke. He replaced both of my springs for a very reasonable price (after comparison shopping on the internet). I asked for advice on other work that needed to be done. I thought I needed some nylon rollers. He said I already had nylon rollers and that they were in good shape, so no need. He also lubed my door, adjusted hinges, etc., for free. Overall great experience. Will definitely use him again for my future garage door needs. Will also recommend him to friends in the area. This is the kind of small business you want to support so he can continue to grow. They came out three months ago and the service was outstanding. They did more that what the “Big Deal” in the end. I had a broken spring and they replaced it and then what they did for the latter part of the tune-up was to changed all the rollers on my garage door, grease and straighten the tracking and optimized the electronic door opener and the sensitivity on the door opener. They grease or lubricated all the hedges on the garage door as well. They guy that came out was professional and excellent.

This was a fantastic experience. I called Mike yesterday, Saturday, and left a message. He called me back within 2 hours and set an appointment for today, Sunday July 7. He arrived within the window we established and even called me 10 minutes before he arrived. He quickly diagnosed the problem (broken spring) and got right to work. Mike had no problem with me observing him during the entire job and even explained to me what he was doing during the process. I told him the door was extremely squeaky and I would like that fixed if possible. He thought thought that might be one of the bearings. The first bearing was good, so he did not replace it. The second bearing was bad, so he suggested replacing both. The end result of this was a wonderfully noise-free door!! The best part of this was he spent an extra 90 minutes adjusting my door so it fit perfectly when closed and even lubricated all the squeaky wheels and joints for no extra charge. Mike was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend him for all your garage door needs. My door works so well the dog no longer barks when we open it!

Called on the afternoon of July4th not expecting an answer and left a voice mail. Mike called back promptly and provided a cost estimate. Set up an appointment the next day that fit my schedule. Mike was on time, explained what he was going to do and detail on the type of springs. He was thorough and professional. When he finished, he showed me how to install a garage delay closer I had purchased. The garage door open smoother and quieter. I would definitely recommend this company.
