I knew my door spring was weak and didn't want to try it myself, so I took a flyer on a $100 AL special w/Mike... He was professional start to finish, made a long trip for a modest fee, and did a first-rate job. Plus, he's a Browns fan! Couldn't be happier (unless he'd done it for free...)

I wish I called Mike at Grand Openings Door months ago when I first had problems with my garage doors. I am skeptical about reviews on Angie's List and even more skeptical about estimates from companies I don't know. To my surprise, Mike fixed the problem quickly and provided the full tune-up - all covered in his $99 promotion. There was no bait & switch, no scare tactics, no replacing parts that did not need replacing. Even more surprising, Mike told me what did not need replacing in the foreseeable future and what may need replacing in the next few years. When the time comes to replace the springs and garage door opener (operator), I will definitely call Mike to do the job. I am even more convinced that homeowners should support small local businesses that take pride in their work.

The electric garage door on our rental property was not working . Mike came out and told us he could fix it, but it was a cheaply made system and we could expect it to brake again soon. He recommended a Liftmaster. We had him install it. He was prompt, efficient and did a great job. I had purchased a second universal garage door opener and he even programmed it to the new system.

Mike was very friendly and helpful scheduling our appointment - he worked with my timing needs. He was a little early for the appointment, worked quickly and effectively and did a wonderful job. We like being able to give business to the "little guys" and Mike did not disappoint. We will contact him again when/if we decide to have a keypad installed or if we have any additional mechanical needs. I highly recommend Grand Openings !

He was on time and very personable. He explained what I had and what he was going to do. He did not try to sell me anything but provided the services that I had purchased. He appeared very experienced and knowledgeable in his work. He explained some issues I may have in the future and what some options would be when that time comes. I will definitely call them when I need other garage door services.

Mike did a great job and is very personable. He arrived exactly when we'd agreed (to the minute), got right to work, finished up quickly, and walked me through everything he'd done. He also secured the board that attaches the spring fixture to the garage interior (the best I know how to describe it) which went beyond the scope of the work covered by the coupon. I asked about replacement doors and his prices are great. When it comes time to have that work done in a year or so, I'll definitely be calling Grand Openings.

Mike did an awesome job. The garage doors had not been used in years and we were not sure if we needed to replace all moving parts including the motors. Mike did a complete assessment and determined that the motors were in good condition. By replacing the broken sensors and doing a thorough tune-up and replacement of broken/worn moving parts our garage doors open and close easily and smoothly. Mike was extremely pleasant to work with, arrived on time and was very efficient with his time. I would absolutely use him again and I would highly recommend him.

Mike came out and gave me a estimate for replacing a broken spring on one of my garage doors. I chose to replace all of my springs with a different set up that was suggested by Mike. Now my garage doors open very quietly and roll very smoothly. We are very happy with the repairs and plan on contacting Mike when it comes time to replace our doors. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends, neighbors or co-workers.

Mike is a small business specializing in Garage Doors and repairs. His response and service quality are excellent. He was at my door within 30 minutes of my call to him. He replaced my torsion spring quickly and was on his way. The price was right too. Look no farther, Mike is the guy!

I was out of town on a business trip and decided to extend my trip for the weekend. My daughter (15) calls me from my house and says, "Oh my God, Mom, I just pushed the garage door button and the door kept going up and down, made a cracking sound and now is hanging there off the track!". She sent me a picture. I had my car in the garage and I was seriously freaking out that the thing was gonna fall off the track, onto the car, hurt someone, etc. And of course, I'm a single mom, I'm 5 states away, and it's a Friday night. So I get on my phone and look up Angie's List and find this guy. Out of the blue. I'm thinking I will call a few people and get answering machines and leave messages and maybe get someone to go out on Monday when I'm home. Nope! The guy answers. I explain to him what's going on and he tells me not to worry - that he's on a job about 10 minutes away and he'll drive by there to look at it after he finishes his current job and make sure there's no imminent safety issue. I told my daughter (who had to leave) to leave the side door open so he could get in. Totally trusting a stranger, here. So he calls me about an hour and a half later and says that he went there and went into the garage and fixed it (it was a broken spring). He says it's working fine although it needs a routine maintenance service, but I can call him and schedule that when I get home. And he charged me a very reasonable fee - didn't try to take advantage of my situation or my panic. A super genuinely nice guy. When I came home, the door was working great. I need to do the maintenance on it now, and I'll be calling him back. Top notch guy.

We had a 30+ year old garage door that was wobbling back and forth when going up or down and shaking quite a bit, in addition to making a racket when operating. The old metal rollers were replaced with rubber ones, and the door was adjusted/balanced so now it operates smoothly. We may be moving within the next year so we didn't want to spend a lot for a new door or frame and tracks. Now it is smooth and quiet. Very pleased with the outcome and would use them again.

We received a quick response and our garage door was operational without having to wait til Monday to get it done. The price was reasonable and we even got the weather stripping replaced!

I had to cancel the first time it was scheduled and they did so withoutcomplaint. The new date the man arrived on tae and made quick work of the job. He also left a sticker on the door and asked me to call him back if anything was wrong. Nothing was nad it works perfectly

The provider came to my house and determined that my garage doors did not need tuning. I appreciate his honesty! He diagnosed an issue with my garage door opener and told me what the problem was and my options (including doing nothing). I hired him to come back an replace my old garage door opener.

I was unable to use the big deal due to the additional cost and work associated with the roller repleacement and tune up. We decided to go ahead and get the whole door replaced with the company at a later date. The gentleman that came out was very professionl, polite and helpful.

My garage door was not functioning because the cables had come loose and the spring was untensioned. The employee arrived as scheduled, was polite and professional, and completed the work as requested. He was careful to test the door after repairing it, and made adjustments so that it would work as well as possible.

just bought an older house. needed to get the garage door openers working properly. did a fine job. arrived on time. was flexible when he arrived and found that our garage already had the quiet operation rollers so instead serviced and provided updated electric eye sensors to replace the old ones that weren't working correctly. nice guy. courteous. helped with reprogramming remotes, too.
