Mike was professional and friendly - a good combination. The two doors are much quieter now.

My phone call was returned promptly, and someone was at my house within a few hours. I had the spring system upgraded from the unsafe original 1973 system to something more modern and safe. Very happy with the service. Will definitely call again if something else goes wrong with the door.

Showed up on time, explained the entire garage door tune up process to me. They also changed my garage door rollers to nylon rollers. When they were finished they showed me the work that had been done and also opened and closed the garage door to show me the huge difference in the noise level. My garage door now opens and closes so much quieter than before. I am so glad I purchased this deal and I would definitely use Grand Openings again for service.

It went extremely well, I was very, very pleased with Mike, the owner, who performed the work today. When I called to make the appt, he was very prompt with answering the phone, setting up a convenient time, etc. He arrived on time, did everything that the "Angie's list deal" that I had purchased said he would. He also looked at looked at our opener and said the motor was getting a bit worn (that may not be exactly what he said, but that was what he was trying to convey). He said we shouldn't bother replacing right now, we could get a few more years out of it. He also told me what to do if it fails, how to open the door so the car is not stuck in the garage! He said the routine maintenance should be done every couple of years on garage doors. Very smart guy and I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a garage door :) If I could give him an A+ I would definitely do that!!

So far everything has been good. He has a nice personality, did what he said, and I could not ask for anything better. He had to order some parts and we are waiting for those parts to come in. Owner Mike was able to send someone to my house the same day I called for service. He was accommodating and pleasant to talk to. Convenient was that for this particular work, they didn't need me to pay in advance or to be home while they did their work. The broken torsion spring was replaced promptly, and the automatic door works just fine again. And to my pleasant surprise, the cost was a little less than the initial quote! Without hesitation, I'll recommend and use this company for future garage door work.

The first things that might enter your mind: · Can I fix it? · Does it have to be fixed now or can it wait? · How expensive will this be? My garage doors were not opening and closing correctly. Grand Openings worked on the doors for about two hours. This review was written two months after the work was completed and they are still working perfectly. I would definitely use them again.

It went very well. Garage doors are all Michael does, and he takes pride in the quality of his work. I was very happy with his work and would highly recommend him. His big deal price is very reasonable compared to other companies doing the same work.

I bought the big deal for $99. The company contacted me very quickly and made arrangements to come to my house to service my garage door. I was not home when they came, but my wife indicated they were on time and were very nice and professional. I would use them again if my garage door needed servicing.

Mike, the owner, performed the service. He did a tune-up of the garage door which involved replacing all the rollers, greasing the moving parts and inspecting the belt. The door was very noisy before the service and now it barely makes a sound. Mike was very friendly and answered all my questions.

It went very well. We will have him back to fix the other issues that popped up when he was at our home. Very satisfied.

It was fine. The man was on time. He knew what he was doing. I would use them again. I thought it was a reasonable price for what he did.

Went smoothly, and about 6 months after I had the work done, I had a completely unrelated issue. Came right back out and fixed me up!

I was very pleased with the service. I purchased the service through one of the Angie's List coupon deals. Angie's List had a snafu with their computer system, and it took them about a week to notify Grand Openings that I had purchased the service. Once Grand Openings received the purchase order from Angie's list, they contacted me immediately, and they expressed their concern that they were just informed of my order. They promptly set up an appointment for 8:30 am. Right at 8:30, Mike was knocking on the door -- ready to go to work. He spent roughly an hour working and adjusting the door. He then explained what he had done. Before he got there, for the last couple of weeks, I was afraid to pull the car in for fear of opening the door because it made so much clanging and banging it sounded like it could fall. Once Mike got through servicing it, it is so smooth and quiet, I can't believe I put up with such a noisy and obnoxious door for so long! I will definitely call Grand Openings if I need service in the future.

When I first started calling garage door repair company's, Mike was one of the first to call me back. He was full of information that helped educate me about the garage door industry and openers which helped me clarify all the reviews I had been reading. Since my garage opener was broken and I had vehicles stuck inside, Mike made it a priority to get to me and figure out what was wrong. Later I called him back and told him a price a found online for new openers. Rather than try to talk me out of buying the online machines and purchase from him, he told that was a great price and I suggested I make the purchase, but before I did, make sure I measured my door size. If I had a bigger door, I'd need an extension kit. That advice was excellent. I did need the extension piece and because of Mike's foresight and suggestion, I got a deal on that kit and saved on additional shipping costs. Thanks Mike! Mike came and diagnosed the door problem and told me what needed to happen to make the fix (ceiling shelves had to be removed). Mike didn't charge me that visit. Instead he told me to call him back when I had the shelf down and he'd come do the repair. Did the work and when the new opener arrived, Mike came back and installed the new machine and the new springs. Mike was fast, through, knowledgeable. personable, and very reasonable in price. I will use him again when my other garage opener dies (I have an I-drive system left) and I highly recommend him to others.
