Grand Openings Garage Door

Mike did an excellent job repairing, adjusting, and checking a garage door opener that had been giving us trouble since its installation 3 years ago. The original installer attempted to make it work properly 2 years ago, but it failed again, and this time he stopped responding to our calls altogether. So, we gave up and called Mike. Arriving on time, only two days after our initial call, he found and corrected multiple problems (most dating from the original installation), all in less than two hours. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. The cost was so reasonable that we decided to forgo the senior discount available to Angie's List members. We'll call him again if and when any of our garage doors need service.

It went extremely well. The technician called to make an appointment, showed up at the appointed time, was courteous, professional, and efficient. We are very pleased with the quiet smmothnes of the door operation.

They were fast efficient and knowledgeable. they work on the door and when they were done you could hardly hear the door open or close.

Mike rocks the garage world,me claymation point. He is Secod Generation and that level of professionalism was VERY clear. In addition to the promised services which were quickly rendered, Mike also ran the garage door up and down numerous times making appropriate adjustments. He checked for safety issues. I bought this 2003 house in 2012. Mike did not like the attachments for the safety lights and made some adjustments. Whew! I had loose wires and flimsy connections and he repaired those way beyond my expectations! He was also kind enough to replace the light in the garage door opener. That's one less thing for me to worry about. Next, I was able to purchase a new remote control to replace my cumbersome remote with the dangling battery. GREAT JOB! The garage door is very quiet now and seems to run much smoother. Mike tightened up the rails on one side of the garage opening before he left. I recommend Grand Openings.

Outstanding work. After I explained my door issues, Mike was able to make the door work better and much quieter by replacing all the necessary parts. He also adjusted the springs to balance the door so it moved much more smoothly. When I showed Mike the gap at the bottom of the door, he replaced the door seal with a much better one. Since then, my spider issues in the garage has gone away (no bugs are getting in) - that was an extra bonus I wasn't expecting!

Michael called and scheduled my garage door maintenance. He sent one of his service men to perform the maintenance. When the service man arrived he immediately asked if I had been having any issues with the door to try and determine if there was anything he should be addressing. When I told him that the door was operating fine , I just needed maintenance, he broke out his tools and got right to work. He explained as he was working what the new rollers would do for the door and the need for maintenance on a regular basis to keep the door working smoothly. He went through the door and opener from top to bottom. The door was operating quieter than before when he was finished. I informed him that I had the same service done last year on my double door. He volunteered to look at it while he was here. He ran the other door a couple of times and gave it some lubrication since it was making a little noise on closing. It immediately quieten down. He suggested that I spray the moving parts of both doors on a regular basis and if I did, then I should not have any issues with either door. Matt called to let me know he would be a bit early which is almost unheard of in my experience with any company that gives a "window" of time. Very quickly assessed the problem and replaced the set of extension springs. He also happened to have a spare remote that he gave me for our second door which is on a much older system and has truly been a life saver to be able to have a remote for each of our cars. He then took the time to program my vehicle to operate the doors and taught me how to set it for our second vehicle. In all, extremely great service at a great price! When I have issues with our garage doors again, I know who to call.

Yesterday my garage door was shut on a ladder that was left under it causing a cable to brake and the door not to be able to be closed. I called Michael this morning and he was able to make arraignments to have someone out to look at it this afternoon. Matt showed up at the specified time and about 20 min later had the door functioning as it was before. The garage door and its components are about 20 years old so i was sure that something was broke and would have to be replaced or worse a whole new door. Matt was great, re-ran the cable that came off, tightened the springs and realigned one of the casters, lubed everything and was on his way. I will be using Grand Openings Garage Door in the future. Michael, the owner, he came out to do the job himself and he was wonderful. He arrived punctual to the appointment, completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up well. They did great job. Everything is still working very well.

Everything went like clock work. The installation team arrived on time, completed the work that afternoon and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. The installation Team was friendly and went out o their way to insure we were happy with the installation.

Installer arrived right on time and got right to work. He knew the product and was friendly and very professional during the process. Had the new opener assembled, the old one down and the new one up and running within 2 hours. Took the time to show me the features, helped me to program my remotes and took the time to adjust the door and springs to get them just right before he left. I asked about a new door seal and he showed me options including pros/cons and when I made a decision to installed a new one he got that installed with no issues. top notch service!

Grand Opening does a really good job. It went well. He gave me some suggestions and we all have to replace the garage door but for now we'll leave it be. It's fixed now. He told me my days are numbered with the garage doors. It was an exceptional experience. He was on time, he told me when he was going to be there. He was very fair and honest. He's just really conscious about just doing a really good job.

They did a real good job. They were nice people, they were prompt, and the owner came back to check why the door was coming apart, and he put it together. I did not pay anything additional. I just thought that the owner came back. One of his workers did the job, and he did a good job, but when I called him and told him that a part of the garage door had come apart, the owner came out and rejoined where it came apart. I was glad that they did that, and I would use them again.

The service was great. The repairman arrived exactly on time and called ahead to let me know he was on his way. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the garage door works well now. I also had a new universal remote programmed to use on the door and that was easy as well. They were very happy to give me the discounted rate since I was an Angie's list member. I would use them again.

It was the perfect home remodel experience. Every aspect, from sales call to installation and clean-up, was magnificent. Mike, the owner, is an excellent communicator and clearly and thoroughly addressed all of the variables associated with making appropriate choices for what to do for our particular home. The crew was excellent. Great workmanship. I never expected such a beautiful result.

Quite simply, I wish all of our house repair experiences went as well as this one. The garage door lower panel was hit hard and would not open or close properly. I called Grand Openings and spoke with Mike directly. He was out here the next day to provide a quote (and an education about garage doors). His price was so reasonable that I hired him and he made the repair on the spot. I also appreciated the fact that he arrived on time. His professionalism and helpfulness made it a joy to do business with him. Now I see why he has so many "A" ratings.

Overall, great experience w/ Grand Openings. The technician (Matt) was pleasant to work with, he resolved the issue and suggested additional services for a future date, i.e. install additional kit to allow smartphone to open/close, install exterior keypad, tune up service through Angie's List, etc. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend Grand Openings for any garage door needs.

Excellent company! Arrived on time and immediately worked on fixing my noisy garage door and did a great job. Very professional company. Mike the owner also stopped by just to introduce himself. Highly recommend them.

Upon hearing the urgency provider immediately visited the site. In inspection he found the spring was broken thus the system had collapsed. He sent his team the next day and fixed everything.

Mike was super-responsive. He replied to my Paypal purchase notice less than an hour after I purchased it, even late in the evening. We communicated via phone call early the next morning, confirmed logistics via text, and he was at my house the first time to evaluate the job by 2pm. He went to another job estimate, then came back to my house when done and I could meet him to move my cars out of the garage to provide work room. The job was finished within 45 minutes, professionally, safely, and he took time to ensure adjustments were correct on opening height. He lubed the door, hinges, and rollers, and advised me how to maintain it going forward. He is very personable, conscientious, and thorough. I will definitely refer him to my neighbors, and keep his info at the ready for our next garage door needs.

Mike from Grand Openings Garage Door arrived at the agreed upon time. He was knowledgeable regarding my door installation (about 17 years old), was very personable, and provided great service. He replaced and lubricated all rollers, adjusted spring tension, tightened door bracing and examined the door opener mechanism. He offered an assessment of my door installation, noting that the end bearings were wearing, and told me what to look & listen for should the bearings begin to fail. He was on the job for about 70 minutes. I was completely satisfied with the deal & the service provided, and I will definitely contact Grand Openings again when I need additional maintenance or replacement of garage door parts.
