It turned out well, I was pleased. There were no additional charges. They did what they said they would and plus. I have not had issues with it.

From the quote through order and installation this process was wonderful. The owner came by to estimate costs the same day that we called. He had good suggestions as to color and styles, and quoted installed price. The door had to be ordered due to matching color to recently installed trim on the house. Estimated 3 weeks for delivery. Within the 3 weeks the door had arrived and was installed without a hitch. Color was perfect. Door opens silently and is so much nicer looking than the old one. AND, the actual price was below the estimate !!! Very satisfied with every aspect of our dealings with this vendor.

The gentleman who came out was punctual and I appreciated that he didn't try to sell any other services or upsell the business. In addition to servicing the garage door, to include replacement of the rollers, he also sold me a replacement garage door opener clicker for an additional $50 and programmed it. The service was wonderful and I will be using this company in the future if I need my garage door serviced again.

The garage doors had been sticking and would not open or close without shuddering. One of the remotes also was not working properly. In almost no time, the doors were opening and closing smoothly and both remotes were working well. He came on time and was very professional. He did not charge us anything more, even though there was a significant improvement in how our garage doors were working by the time he was finished.

They contacted me for an appointment and came on time. They worked quickly and did an excellent job. The doors are as good as new.

Went through Angies List, they came out the next day. Tech was nice and straight forward. Price was a special plus extra services and parts. I thought the price was reasonable for the work done. Will call them again if I have any garage door issues.

Mike responded to a message I left on a Sunday and was able to come out within the next few days to look at the door. Basically, the door was not tracking smoothly and the rail became damaged over time and needed to be replaced. I was concerned that our cars might be damaged by the the rail assembly coming apart. Mike had the parts and installed the new rail assembly the following day. The door works great now. I really appreciate how quickly Mike responded and completed the work. I'd definitely use Grand Openings in the future and highly recommend them

Mike was professional flexible and performed high quality work very quickly. He communicated thoroughly to make sure I knew what was going on and knew the cost of repair before doing the work. Paid by credit card received the receipt and warranty information for my new spring same day. It was the smoothest transaction I have had with a contractor or service provider in quite some time. Hopefully we won't need more work done on our garage but if we do Mike from Grand Openings will certainly be the one we call.

Fantastic! I found Grand Openings on Google, but wanted to be sure I recognized them here. My husband and I managed to damage our garage door when I left the lift gate open on my van and the garage door up. My husband comes home and pushes the button to open the garage not knowing it was already up. The door came down hard and hit my lift gate then bounced back up. When we tried to shut the door afterward it separated from the track and rollers, went up slanted, and cables popped all over the place. We had no idea what it was going to cost so I contacted my homeowners insurance. I called Mike around 9:30 or 10 am. He said he'd give me a call later to make an estimate. He was very kind and honest. He said it would be around $120 to repair the door when we were thinking we might have to spend much more. He offered to come back the next day to perform the repair, but when I said I wouldn't be available, he performed the repair on the spot (mind you this was around 6 in the evening), and only charged me $85 because the repair took less time than he estimated. You do not find too many people around here who are this honest. My door worked better when he was done than before the damage was done! I am 1000% SATISFIED. HIRE MIKE!!!

Mike is awesome! This is definitely a repair contractor you can trust. I contacted him this Saturday after our garage door bracket decided to pull itself out of the screws connecting it to the garage door, leaving our garage door automatic opener unusable. Mike contacted me shortly after I left him a message and asked me to text him a couple of pictures. Once he saw the situation he gave me advice over the phone on how I could easily fix it myself. He was more than happy to come over in a day or two to fix it for me, but he was honest to tell me that this is such a simple repair... as long as I had a drill to create some new holes in the metal plate since the original holes were stripped....and maybe adjust the j-bracket if needed.... He was right! Really impressed with his honesty that he'd rather not charge me $85 for a service call for something that would take him a few minutes to fix.... unless I really needed the help of course. Very happy with our first interaction and will certainly be hiring this company again when it's time to do general maintenance or any other repairs. Thanks, Mike!

he was wonderful! Had doors serviced and working beautifully in about 45 minutes. Timely and so courteous. Would recommend them to everyone. I never take the time to fill these out but felt I needed to since the service was so superior.

From my first email to the handshake at the end, this was a wonderful experience. Within five minutes of sending my email on a Saturday seeking help. I got a call from Mike, who asked great questions, was funny and informative. He scheduled me for the following Monday. Matt showed up exactly on time and was clearly proficient at this work. He got the entire job done within 50 minutes, and the door works perfectly and quietly. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor -- awesome people, awesome business.

Seems there was a bit of a lag in initial responsiveness caused due to the front end of Angie's List which the provider is required to go through. Once we were able to communicate person to person, everything went smoothly. As requested, the Service person contacted me when he was 30 minutes away. They were prepared and completed the work within 1 hour with no issues.

Michael called before he came and arrived right on time. He went right to work and completed his work in a very professional manner. I highly recommend Michael and his company! Great service provider!!

This is my second time using Grand Opening's for garage door tune ups and this time a major repair. The door was falling hard when closing and very slow to rise when opening. I called Michael directly and he came out on a Saturday morning to help me. He showed my how the 14 year old spring had failed and gave me a quick estimate for parts and labor to replace it. Michael is a very nice man and I enjoy watching him work because he knows garage doors so well. He had the door repairing in about 30 minutes. He showed me some minor issues with the door itself that I need to monitor. All in all, a very good experience.

That turned great. One technician came out and it took him about 2 hours. It was a very cold day and he was able to get the work done for me.

Mike came to our house to look at a problem we had been having with our garage door not going down. He identified the issue as an obstruction caused by an ill-fitting weatherseal and fixed that issue plus tightened some bolts. He stayed with us to ensure that the problem was fixed correctly--he didn't come in for a quick fix and immediately leave. He also gave us a quote on a new garage door. Based on his excellent customer service and knowledge, Grand Openings will be at the top of the list when we replace our garage door in the near future.

He arrived on time and went right to work. I was extremely pleased with the work performed. The serviceman also gave me some suggestions regarding insulation for the doors and a few things I could do to make the garage a little more user friendly in the future . He will be coming back soon with some insulated panels with windows to allow more light to pass thru. That was another suggestion and I am so glad he told me that I could do that. I thought I would have to buy the entire door. I was very pleased and if I have any type of problem, Grand Openings will be the first ones I call.

The company provided an estimate just by looking at pictures of our garage door(inside and out). The person on the phone was very friendly. Their estimate was the cheapest out of the highest-ranked providers we found on Angie's List for our area. By a lot. They came on time and finished the job very quickly and with no issues. The quality of the installation and parts was excellent. We highly recommend these folks!
