very professional. not much of a talker, but did a great job. much better than last company. door is 17 years old and runs very smooth now.

Owner came out on time and completed the job. He was professional and very well qualified for the work. Garage door now opens and closes perfectly. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use their services again. The new remote also works great after he activated it to pickup the existing code.

The owner Mike answered when I called and was very pleasant on the phone. I asked if he had any specials and told me he did. We discussed what I needed and he stated that he could have it installed in a few days. I then decided to go with him and scheduled the appointment. I was a little taken back when a different person showed up at my home. However, the worker installed the opener. The only adjustment was that the wire was loose and the door connection stopped working. The worker came back the same day to fix it.

This was an Angie's list deal he was on time, very knowledgeable and thorough. Could not have asked for better service.

It was perfect. He was terrific. He charged me so little and he was willing to do so much. He was punctual and I really liked him. He's very personable.

Service was excellent. He was prompt, courteous and able to answer all my questions. The garage door is operating better than it has since I moved in, and is so much quieter than before the servicing.

I called and left a message telling them that I needed help with my garage door remote not working. I received a return phone call within an hour or two. We scheduled an appointment for the next day between 3:00 - 4:00. The serviceman called when he was on his way, which I found very helpful in my planning. He arrived on time and was very helpful in diagnosing the problem. He was able to give me an older remote that was compatible with my older garage door opener and also programmed my car button as well. I was very pleased with his professionalism and his competency. I would definitely use this company again for any issues with my garage door.

Service Technician (believe it was Matt) arrived precisely at 2:00pm. I had been given a window of 2-3pm. Technician completed everything stated in the Big Deal. He then replaced the seal, and adjusted the emergency stop lasers. All in all, the Big Deal work was performed very professionally and completely as specified. He was very easy to talk to and explained everything he was doing. Nice guy! He cleaned up everything afterward. I was very happy with the service provided and will definitely use again if necessary.

Doors were working, but noisy. Adjustment quieted doors, and one was realigned to the track.

Setting up an appointment with Grand Openings Garage Door went very smooth. They arrived on time on the appointed date. The maintenance check was very thorough. The new rollers were installed and checked - were very quiet and ran smoothly. There were some wires hanging down along the door and the technician did a nice job of safely securing them so they would not be in the way. Some other safety concerns were discovered and taken care of. The technician was very nice and answered all of my questions. When finished, the technician cleaned up the area and left no trash, debris, etc. Overall, the service was great and I would definitely call on Grand Openings Garage Door again to maintain my garage door and certainly consider them when I need to replace the garage door and/or opener!

The workers were fine very punctual. The left the area clean. They were very prompt and right on time. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The whole process went well. Mike (the owner) contacted me within minutes of me sending an inquiry through Angie's List. He was very personable, forthright, honest, and his prices are competitive. Even though his company sells openers, I ended purchasing the equipment elsewhere since I had a corporate discount available. Mike still took the time to help me select the best product and advised on fair pricing for the additional items required to complete the install (Angle Iron). Based off my interaction with Mike choosing Grand Openings was a no brainer to complete the install, and he scheduled me right away. Mark, the installer was just as professional and enjoyable to deal with as Mike. Mark arrived on-time, installed both openers within two hours, and removed all of the remnants/trash associated with the install. I will definitely use Garage Openings in the future (I have a damaged door) and strongly recommend this company to anyone requiring work on their garage doors.

It was fine. There were no additional charges on top of the $99 big deal. I was not here for the work and I never communicated with the worker. But he seems to be nice on the phone and the work done was seems to be nice. There was nothing notable about it. There were no problems, no scheduling issues. It was schedules probably after a week that it was purchased and the scheduling was easy. I really don?t have negative to say about him. The work was fine. I just did not engage with the people very much. I thought their price was fair. I have not had issues with their work. They were pretty responsive. I think they were punctual but I cannot recall actually.

On the morning of Thursday, 1-8-15, as I was leaving for work in the morning, I had pulled my vehicle out of the garage and was waiting for the garage door to fully close, when I heard a huge bang and the garage door came crashing down. One of the springs for the door had snapped and broken. The pulley cabling for the spring was a tangled mess. Fortunately there was no one in the garage when the spring snapped and there was no damage to the garage door. I searched Angie's List for a garage door repair company. At about 10:00am I sent an email to Grand Openings Garage Door, LLC. At 10:01am my cell phone rang and it was Mike the owner of the company. I could not believe he was calling me within a minute of my sending the email. I explained my problem to Mike. Mike told me he had another job in my neighborhood that afternoon and could arrive at my house between 1:00 - 2:00pm. At almost exactly 1:00pm he arrived at my house. Mike asked one of his employees, Matt, to replace the broken garage door spring and run new pulley cabling, and to install an outdoor keypad for my other garage door. Matt was done with both jobs by 2:00pm. I was charged $175.00, which I thought was a very reasonable price for same day service. I was expecting to have to wait a few days and be charged much more, and have to park my vehicle outside for a few nights. Both Mike (the owner) and Matt were great guys and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was able to park my vehicle back in the garage that same night.

I submitted a service request and received a phone call within minutes from the owner, Mike Ropelewski (on a Sunday evening). He immediately worked with me over the phone to analyze the situation and determine if he had the appropriate items in stock to repair my garage door. The next day a technician (Matt) arrived and replaced both springs, tightened a few screws and greased the garage door. It is now running smoothly. Both men were extremely professional and made me feel like a valued customer. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in search of repairing their garage door.

When the spring broke on New Year's Eve I was sure I'd have to wait a week to get it fixed. I sent a note the them through Angie's list and they got back to me immediately. He said he could send someone out on New Year's Day. I was thrilled! He showed up on time and did exactly what he came to do without any thought of up-sell, which I really appreciate. The garage door would not open for my wife when she left to go to work. I noticed that one of the counterbalance springs had snapped. I managed to muscle the door open & then fired up Angie's List to find a vendor that could replace the springs. I called around several vendors & Grand Openings had the best price by far. They came out the same day, replaced both springs and also cleaned & oiled the rollers. The door was fixed before my wife got home to her delighted surprise.

Several weeks ago my wife backed into the garage door while it was down. That's all I will say about that.... While the damage was not very noticeable on the exterior of the garage door, it was definitely a bit bowed. The interior of the door had a significant bend in the support strut as well as several 'crinkles' in the actual door skin surface. Mike came by to give me an estimate regarding the best way to fix this. He suggested that we attempt to replace the support strut first since the door was still operational, and said that his crew could probably bend the door back in a bit manually to make most of the exterior bowing go away. While he was out, I also asked him about the general operational noise of my larger door and he suggested roller replacement and lubrication as a solution for the problem. After scheduling a follow up, one of the employees (Matt) arrived right on time this morning to do the work. He was quick and efficient, and in the end, he fixed the smaller garage door to the point that it is almost unnoticeable from the exterior in terms of physical condition as compared to how it was before. Mike also replaced the rollers in the larger door and lubed/adjusted both doors. At the conclusion, I am very happy with the work. Both doors operate much quieter than they did before, and I am satisfied that I did not have to end up replacing two of the panels on the damaged door. I will definitely keep this company in mind for future work, not only because they did the job quickly and efficiently, but they were just nice people all around and I like working with people like that!

I am finally getting a chance to write a review of this fabulous company! In August, I received 3 estimates to replace a 20 year old wooden garage door that was rotting at the bottom. I was almost ready to commit to another company when I saw reviews on this company on Angies list. I decided it would be worth it to get this final estimate. I am so glad I did as the service was incredible and I thought the product I chose from Doorlink is superior in quality to others I was debating about. Mike, the owner, was so knowledgeable and patient in explaining the details I was interested in . Needless to say, I felt great about the decision even before it was installed! The installers, Daniel and Scott were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. The door looks great and has performed wonderfully! The followup by Mike was amazing. He is very honest and personable! I would have no hesitation in recommending this company (and have already done so to some of my neighbors who have inquired).
