Response from Grand Openings Garage Door
After 53 straight A reports I must say getting a B grade is a disappointment to me considering the amount of pride that i take in my work. With that being said, I did show up to this particular job within the allotted window of time that we had agreed upon. Which leads me to believe that perhaps there was a misunderstanding due to the C grade for punctuality. And as far as response time is concerned, I responded within 72 hours of receiving the coupon code for the big deal purchase which i feel is better than average. I must say that this was a unique job due to the fact that you did purchase 1 coupon for a garage door tune up and roller replacement that normally covers one garage door and you have 6 garage doors. So i showed up and worked a deal out for you that averaged at approximately $50-$60 per garage door which is far below the industry average to service them. Actually less than half the normal cost. After inspecting the garage doors i noticed some serious issues with them due to poor original installation. These are custom wood doors that are extremely heavy and not even 5 yrs old at this point that had hinges hanging off, wood lags falling out, extremely noisy, improper spring tension, just to name a few. I did have to finish the job on a second visit due to needing some parts which i had to special order that took a couple of weeks to get in. But i did mention to you that it would take a couple of weeks to get in and you seemed ok with that. In the meantime i made sure your doors were functioning properly till the parts came in. I'm sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding appointment times. Feel free to contact me if you have any future issues with these particular garage doors. Thank you for using Grand Openings for your garage door needs.
