Economy Exterminators

They showed up on time. Knocked the cobwebs down from my eaves and corners of the windows. Sprayed the outside and inside of my house along with the crawl space. I left before they were finished. They followed the key instructions and left me without a pest problem.

Danny and Jim showed up on time and did a thorough inspection of my crawl space to help me determine the origin of a terrible smell that my a.c. unit was pumping into my house. After a short time, the found a dead opossum near my a.c. unit that had been rotting for awhile. Even though it wasn't in their job description they attempted to remove it. However, it would later require my a.c. guys to deconstruct my unit to remove the dead carcass. During the inspection, Danny and Jim noted that my crawl space was in poor condition. They actually reiterated what another company had also pointed out. They offered me a free quote for upgrading my crawl space. I was very comfortable with their professionalism and honesty.

At first I was a little bit worried because the ants came back. However, they came right back out and took care of the problem. They even sprayed between the walls to eliminate the issue. I haven't seen any ants since.

Great job. Professional. On time. Even cleaned up all the cob webs around the house.

They are a local company. They did what they said they were going to do and eliminated my spider problem. They are typically very conscientious, and they don’t run around haphazardly spraying things. I have a two year old daughter, and they make it a point to discuss the truth and take care of the treatment of the house as it relates to children. That generally is very much appreciated, I don’t want them spraying pesticides that my daughter is going to stick down her throat. Their field people are generally very professional, and I actually hold them in very high regard. I have the same person who comes here, and he is very punctual. I have had nothing but good experiences with them so far. I have not done any comparative shopping for their price, but I am sure there is somebody cheaper out there.

Several years ago, I walked outside one spring morning to find a termite swarm all over the front window of my house. After a brief moment of panic, I called four different pest control companies to come, check out the situation, and give me information and estimates for termite treatment. Economy Exterminators were the most knowledgeable, friendliest, and offered great personal customer service. They were happy to answer all my questions and explain everything they did. They also offered a very nice payment plan -- split up the total over several months. They did an inspection to see what the existing termite damage was like. (Thankfully, it was limited to a small part of one room.) On the appointed day, Darryl (one of their exterminators) came out. He greeted us and told us what he was going to do -- dig and drill outside to apply the liquid termiticide around the foundation, and lift the edges of the carpet in one and room and drill into some areas of the slab foundation inside as well to apply it from that angle. He would also position the monitoring/bait stations outdoors in the soil around the foundation, and place pieces of wood inside them -- the wood is checked every month and if it shows any sign of being eaten by termites, it will be replaced by bait. The work was finished up in one afternoon. There's no avoiding noise with this process, but Darryl minimized the disruption as much as he could. And everything -- both outdoors and in -- was left tidy after he was finished. There was a minor hiccup early on when they changed over their billing system and for some reason, a couple of my payments didn't get recorded correctly. I called them and they immediately apologized and took care of the problem with no further action needed on my part. There hasn't been any issue since. Since then, we pay a monthly monitoring fee and Economy sends someone once a month to check the bait stations. They leave a written report each time stating what they did and what they found. So far, no more termite activity! I hope there never is any more -- but if there is, I trust Economy to take care of the situation.

I previously used Economy when I had problems with wasps coming in the eaves on our deck. Was very pleased with their service. It was $84.00 for initial treatment and inspection. I decided to get a yearly contract because I had to call them 2 years previously for the wasp problem.

They let us pay over time. We liked the fact that they were honest and prompt. They did a quality job. They weren't the cheapest, but they were reasonable. We were very pleased with them, and would recommend them to others.

Very good job. Contractor's employees arrived on time, carried out their work efficiently, and cleaned up all mess. I am very pleased with this firm.

They come in and check everything and they make sure that it has it's treatment and they give a report that tells us what they found. We can use the report t file in case we need to sell our house. They made the experience extremely easy with them. I think their price is fair for what they did. They were right there when they said they would be.

I have been more than pleased, Economy is punctual, professional and effective.

I definitely give them an A rating and I would absolutely use them again.

I think they are good. The service men often change. They are through with what they do.

Estimator came to validate square footage. Week later a fellow came out and did the work-clean, quiet. Grreat/

They are very professional and they do the job. My dog got fleas once and they came out for free and did the interior rugs because I am their regular customer. The monthly fee includes the interior but I choose not to do the interior because I don’t want my cat near the pesticides. I ask them to just do the exterior.

It is fairly comprehensive but it does not include termites on every visit. It is a general external spray. I haven't had the need to have them come inside so it has been good. They are thorough. They have always been very courteous and respectful. They have always done a great job. I haven't really compared their prices. I will continue to use them.

We've been using them for six months. We paid them up front and the price was reasonable for what they offer. We had ants and they came out the very next day to spray. They don't really give a time; they give a day.

We have used them for five to seven years now. They seem to be very punctual. They come right on time. They let me know when the next visit is going to be, so we can mark it on the calendar. We make sure everything is available to them when they come. We can call them back for specific issues. We had them take care of a fire ant problem in the yard. They are usually very responsive.

I've got a yearly contract with them. They are punctual, effective and friendly. I would give them an A on everything as they've been great. On each visit they leave a flier saying when they had been here and when they would be back and I find that helpful.

They have been good and I would recommend them to others. I have had several of their inspectors come by over the years and they have always been courteous and professional in the way they have gone about their work. If they have something they want to bring my attention to they will show me and then somebody else will follow up with a proposal for a treatment or a drainage improvement, or something like that. I would continue to use them in the future if I needed to.

They are wonderful. They do a great job. I was getting mice, and my dog kept catching them. I called them to take care of the problem.

They seemed to be pretty good. We had one guy that came out and he was very polite and good.

I orignally called them because I had ants, but I have been using them ever since. They are great.

They do outside services for me. They will make in between calls if I notice any kind of activity.

We are on a contract with them. So when we have a problem we can just call them up. Their response is pretty good and it’s as fast as we want it. They come right away. We probably spend about $42 a month on their services. They make their money over the winter months obviously. If we terminate the contract and if we do ever call them, then we’ve got to start all over again. We are better off keeping up the contract and if they have to come out five times a week, they will as opposed to one time service. Then we will have to negotiate the contract again. We don’t know what the competitive rates are and basically we had called them on a recommendation. So we don’t know if there are cheaper places or we would imagine that they are pretty well standard prices. We will definitely use them again in the future.
