Could not have gone better! To tell the truth, I did not price check this job. I was so impressed with my first encounter with Steve Kurtz that I decided to go ahead with the estimate he provided. The crew showed up on time and ready to work. Their equipment was so clean and the crew's attention to the details of safety procedures inspired confidence. Although the crane wasn't strictly necessary for my job, they had it in my area for another job so they used it and it probably did speed things up a bit. Plus it was very cool to watch in action!! It was such a pleasure to work with a contractor of this caliber. I would recommend them without reservation. Both Chris and Steve are intelligent and articulate and a pleasure to work with.

They were terrific. They even saved me some money by letting me know I didn't have to take out a tree, that they could just trim it. I actually paid less than their initial estimate, because they were able to save a tree. So I was very happy with the work. I was hauling out the logs in the backyard myself, and they were able to take a bunch out, so that was a real help.

Excellent work, in my opinion, in a dangerous situation. Arranged for power lines to my residence and neighbors to be downed during the removal of the large oak. They had a a large crew and plenty of equipment, bucket trucks, large truck mounted crane, etc., and 1 to 2 owners of the business were on site during the work.

We had CS Tree take down a tree in a tight spot in Historic Oakwood. Highly dependable, efficient work; communication was excellent ? quick responses to questions, always knew when he would be there and was there when promised. Excellent clean up. Was also accommodating in ?working in? the tree removal in a timely fashion, since we were under a property sale deadline. I would call CS Tree again in a heartbeat. Good people! Good work!

Steve provided an estimate and explained in detail what would be done. Everything was done as planned, on time, and in a very professional and safety conscious manner.

Everything went extremely well. The estimate was done within an hour of our initial meeting. They were very nice and professional and did the work in the time they stated - 3 hours! They cut and stacked the limbs that we could use for our fireplace and were generally friendly and easy to work with. Even when I contacted them for some changes and additions, they took everything in stride and updated their estimate, which, by the way, I thought was very fair. I was very impressed with their work.

They were on time, neat in their work, and honest! No pressure or pushy sales tactics!

This is the third time I've used CS Tree Services over the past 6 years or so. Every time has gone extremely well. They were very prompt, arriving a little earlier than expected to set up the crane. They put down plywood to make sure that the crane wouldn't harm the driveway and lawn. The crane wouldn't quite fit the spot as expected, but they adjusted and handled the problem by digging up a couple of bushes temporarily while the crane was in place. The entire crew of 6 or 7 people got to work quickly on the various tasks, and were careful not to put anyone at risk or damage any property. The crane had to pull out the trees in parts, reaching from the front of the house to the back of the house. They cleaned up as they worked, and did a great job of cleanup at the end, blowing off the lawn and even blowing the compressed grass to fluff it up a little. They put the extracted bushes back in place, and even watered them. The whole job took about 3.5 or 4 hours. The only hiccup was that their stump grinder was in the shop, so they were unable to grind 3 stumps as agreed. However, they said they'd be back to do that later, and I trust them to do it. Other than that, they exceeded my expectations.

They are very good. One large, dead limb was discussed but didn't get on the estimate. They still honored our agreement and didn't charge extra for that limb.

They were fantastic. They were a little behind due to the large response but their contact person communicated very well and they did an excellent job.

They were marvelous. We spent about $800. Everything stood out to me, they were reliable, punctual, professional and affordable. The gentlemen who came out are actually arbourists so they give you a fair assessment to make sure you're not damaging your tree when you cut back and their cleanup was amazing. You wouldn't even know they were here. I was very impressed.

I live in a wooded area and had trees that had seen better days and simply needed to be removed. These guys came out to do an initial assessment of what trees should stay or go and were really fair. The estimator was honest about what made sense to spend money on and what really didn't. The quote came in quickly and we scheduled a time with no issues. Once the work was done, you would never have known they were there except that the said trees were gone and nice logs were left behind for firewood. I was impressed with their professionality and attitude and will be using them again for any tree removal issues. Highly recommend.

They were quick and efficient. Completed the job in a couple of hours - including clean-up. The crane had to maneuver one of the trees close to the house - did so with no trouble. I have lots of plantings and flowers in the yard. Not one was touched. The only evidence tree work was performed was the piles of shreds where the stumps were ground. The crane lifted the cut tree into the street where a crew there would cut them up and load them onto a truck. Excellent service. Would use them again.

Steven returned my call promptly and scheduled and appointment to see the work I needed to have done. He was detailed in his estimate and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When his team arrived for work they were kind enough to go that extra mile and cut some branches and stumps for me to build a natural play area for my children. They also left me all the chips as I requested, so I can use them in my garden. They spent extra time, I know, to make sure the job was done well and cleaned up. They even posed for a photo after they planted my new apple trees:) We will definitely use them again if needed!

They responded to my request for an estimate immediately and came out 2 days later. The representative (Jody) walked around the property as I told him what I'd like to have done. He made recommendations, including how to trim the tree to get better grass growth in the yard, and advised we would be emailed an estimate. Received the estimate before he left, he made sure we reviewed it, asked if we had questions and said we could schedule or call to schedule. We reviewed it, it was not as expensive as we'd expected for total tree removal, I wish we'd called sooner! They were able to come out only a few days after the estimate to complete the work. No mess left, only the mulch from the stump removal.

Steven came out promptly after being contacted to evaluate the situation. He marked the trees that needed to come down and indicated that although it was a small job, he would work us in. They showed up, cut down the trees, and also offered to cut them up for us to stack. We were pleased with the service.

CS Tree Services cut down a large red oak from my yard and ground down a few stumps I had from previous jobs. Scheduling was easy and they were in contact with my throughout the week with updates as their schedule changed unexpectedly. On the day of the job, they arrived on time. All of the crewmen were respectful of my property. Each seemed to know his job very well and the tree came down very gracefully. It was a large tree in a tight space, so I was a bit nervous, but they did a fabulous job and caused no damage whatsoever. They know exactly what they are doing. They cleaned up nicely and were done right when they said they would be. Very professional. They honored the Angie's List discount and the final price was very reasonable considering the size of the tree. I would use them again for sure.

Working with CS was a pleasure. They came out, listened to us and provided options. The work was done very well and they cleaned up everything after themselves leaving no trace expect for the work.

I was getting estimates for tree work, and I went with a different company, but I was so impressed with the quality of CS Tree Services that I wanted to share my thoughts about them with others. They provided me with a detailed itemized estimate for tree work for my property, and I would definitely consider them for future work.

They were very careful, efficient, and they cleaned up everything before leaving.

Everything went well except that they missed stump grinding two of the bushes that they removed.

The first was a large hickory tree about 10 feet away from the side of my house, and thus covered a large section of the roof. It was removed quickly, carefully and neatly, and the stump was ground do to below ground level. Great job, very happy! The second was a large, previously storm-damaged, maple tree. I agreed to take down a section of my fence to make it easier for them to access and drop/remove the tree. They did a great job, ground the stump down to below ground level, and did a good job cleaning up afterwards. Due to equipment and worker availability, they did the work on two separate days, which was fine with me. They were easy to work with and get the work scheduled, even when we both needed to re-schedule a couple of times. I would hire them to come back and do more tree work.

Provider trimmed trees and removed one. They showed up on time, were friendly and immediately went to work. When the work was finished I was asked to make sure I was satisfied. Everything was cleaned up and taken off site. Will definitely use again.

Steven provided a through review of our trees and discussed same with us. we requested quotes on tree limb trimming in backyard, Leyland Cypress trimming on side yard and root pruning in front yard. The quotes for same arrived in a couple of hours and we negotiated a fair price. Actual services were performed on two days. Workers were professional and courteous. As promised workers disposed debris and left yard as well, if not better, than before their arrival.
